Real talk: I'm not sure who is more rude...the snobby customers or the lazy employees! It's true, they have quality meats and produce...but I never look forward to shopping here! I get in and get the hell out! If it wasn't for the convenience of the location and the quality products, trust me...I'd go else where! I am giving this 5 stars today because of the awesome Manager Angela who took my concerns and made me feel she really cared about the fact that I was treated badly by two different employees! I do have to say that the Customer Service was horrid today in the Hot Wok(Chinese Food Dept) and one of the Baggers at the Check Out Line who was rude when I asked if there was a Store Manager I could speak with. I'm giving this store only two stars because it's extremely weirdly laid out and confusing to navigate. Also I started writing this review mainly because of the deli. Do not eat here unless you have no time constraints and can take your time. Also do not chose to eat at this deli unless you like to hear the life story of the person serving you and in between sentences making your sandwich, slowly. Not only will you be hearing her (Caiti) life story, you'll also enjoy her having conversation with her coworkers. It's like she's allergic to having a sense of urgency. read more

Today I was around 10 pm to get some food, there was a car not just sticking out fron the parking space, I was totally out of the space blocking the line toward the exit to Freeport Blvd. There was a Raley's employee outside on the parking, I told him to call the police as it can cause an accident, he really blew off like I was not talking to him. Inside de store, I saw the Raley's private security to whom I mentioned de car "have you seen there is car blocking the line in the parking". A common sense answer will be "let me check what is going" instead this person said " I have not" and turn around leaving me with the words in the air. It means that Raley's employees/contractors do not care about their customers' security. I missed those times when you could say something was not right at Raley's properties and the employee took care of the problem or called to the person who was responsible for those issues. read more

Logistically I consider this store to be my neighborhood grocer. Parking is sufficient. Food quality and pricing is competitive. In an aesthetic sense, this store feels "tired" even though a minor facelift was completed a couple of years ago. read more

I shop here several times a week as it is very near my home and I find so much value in shopping in a place where they know you. Store manager Angela is fantastic, always kind and welcoming, and has gone out of her way to help me secure a good price on an item on sale, out of stock. She bent over backwards because that's what happens in neighborhood shopping when they know you and you are loyal. Have several favorite checkers, I'll wait in a longer line to get to their line. Familiar faces and friendly chats make this a true neighborhood store. Recently, an increased partnership and promotion of local farms and vendors (Track 7...) and I love that! read more

NICKLE-AND-DIME PRACTICE; POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FOLLOW UP They nickle-and-dime you at the coffee bar (Bakery Section) (e.g., extra charge for half and half in Mochas, etc.), even though there is no "policy" on this, and the extra charges are not applied consistently (e.g., some staff add the extra charge, and some do not add the extra charge). I complained to Raley's headquarters online on 3/2/2015 about the extra charges, to see if they support this "nickle and dime" practice. I followed up via phone at their Customer Service Center on 3/31/2015, and was told the person who was assigned the case was not at their desk, but that they would call me back. It has been around nine (9) months now, and Raley's Headquarter's Customer Service Center has FAILED TO CALL ME BACK, to date. read more

I certainly appreciate all the clerks and store help but my complaint is product quality. I've tried their on line ordering two times. Each time the site touts free delivery for the first 3 orders greater than $100. But for both orders I was charged $5.95 and $6.95 for delivery. First order was ok and substitutions were acceptable although disappointed there were no sugarbee apples. Second order was screwed up. Ordered 3 lbs of sirloin tip roast and got way more than that in the form of two roasts. Go figure? Again there were no sugarbee apples even though I see these in the WS store. Ordered sausage links only to find them exceptionally fatty chuncks in all the links. I don't shop Raleys all the time because I find their quality and availability is hit or miss. Chobani yogurt seemed like it was old as filling was collapsed and watery. Not at all impressed and will not use this service again. Now seems like Walmart quality with Nugget prices. read more

Great store, with fresh food, a great staff, and an impressive variety of items on offer.....BUT, some of their prices are simply insulting to any sane person's intelligence! $5.99 for a 16Oz jar of Planters peanuts?! In approximately 6 weeks I accidentally purchased 2 packages of rotten fruit, 1 package of the Bistro salad in the refrigerator dept, and 2 bags of potatoes (at different times) where my finger went completely through a potato when I touched it. Gross. I went back to Raley's and bought another thing of potatoes for today and the same thing happened! I finally got a bag of decent potatoes that I'm afraid to eat due to my previous totally grossed out experience. Then today I bought $24.00 of King crab. It was rotten. A clerk there got me "fresh" king crab. I get it open and the shell's not cut the way they told me it would be. The staff that work there don't care. I do. I'm switching to Safeway! In the meantime I'm eating rotten watermellon for 4th of July. High recommend that Raley's be boycotted. read more

I like this place most of the time. It is easy to get in and out. The workers are friendly. There are things I can find here that I have not found at other stores in town. This location is actually fantastic, as you can walk in and immediately your ear drums are blasted by the wailing of small children as they throw a temper-tantrum at the Wells Fargo ATMs. You can then proceed to any location in the store where you doubtlessly will run into a mouth-breathing idiot standing directly in front of the product you are searching for. Popping in to pick up a bottle of wine before heading to a dinner party? Don't mind if I do, Raley's! All 15 of the check stands are always closed, the line wraps around the store, and if you go to the express lane the clerk will actually close their line to allow some frizzy haired ding-bat to wander off aimlessly to procure that one additional item that they could not locate on their own earlier, but now that nothing has changed and armed with the new knowledge of more nothing they are to brave the storm that is the "organization" of the wares and purchasables Raley's has to offer. In a blind act of rage I intended to smash my bottle of wine in my infinite derision. However, as I am a moderately well-adjusted adult, I decided to simply place the bottle of wine on any of the conveniently closed check-out stands and walk out of the store empty-handed, similarly as entered. I am quite upset that I have to give you one star, as clearly zero stars would have been the correct number, but that was not an option. read more

Love Raleys. Not only is down the street from the house, but the workers are always friendly and always ask if you need help out. Of course they are more pricey than say a food co or winco, but the groceries are more fresh and better quality. Plus if you spend money here, you get rewards back quarterly during the year. Until recently I lived in South Land Park and would frequent this location. This is the largest Raley's I've ever been to. It is actually two stores remodeled into one giant store. Anything you could possibly want in a grocery store is here. I love the seasonal aisle, they always have cool decor and candles. I am also very impressed with the "natural" foods section. The prices on some of the items are better than at nearby Sprouts. They are always having sales, and 2 for 1 deals. The personal care section has a great variety also. Overall I am impressed by the selection at this store. The customer service has always been good as well, except for at the pharmacy (which deserves a separate review). The wine section could use a makeover as well (Hey, Raley's, can I be your new wine buyer? lol). Self check out area too!! Love this store and hope to move back to the area soon so I can shop here again. read more

Every time I come here they are always out of a ton of stuff. It gets really irritating and ive left on multiple occasions just leaving my basket because i can get ingredients all together elsewhere.. aside from that the store staff are very friendly which saves this rating. read more

I have been shopping at Raleys for over forty years. I have seen a real drop in customer service as well as difficulty getting products. I have had three different clerks in the last month or two that were very discourteous. In addition there are always empty shelves that have not been restocked by noon. This goes for the deli as well. The regular items like potato salad did not come in or they haven't mixed up whatever they did receive. The clerks do not seem happy to be working at Raleys. I prefer to shop local and in a union store, but do not know how long I can continue shopping there. Raleys needs to get with it and improve things as there are plenty of shopping options . read more

I used the home delivery service for the first time and sadly, I was very disappointed. While the delivery was on time (actually a little early) and I did receive a call letting me know some the items I had ordered were not available, when I did actually receive my delivery the organic cucumber I had ordered was clearly rotten. I had only ordered three produce items and the organic cucumber was supposed to be part of my meal for that evening. I am sorely disappointed because it's an expensive item and it was clearly rotten. There was no recourse to have an replacement delivered and I had to call and try and get a refund, which still has not shown up on my account. I'm a working mom with a newborn and a toddler at home, so my time and money are very valuable as I have little of both. I thought using the home delivery would be convenient option for me, but if I can't trust that what will be delivered to me will not be rotten, what's the point? read more
