Five star service at the location. Only gave 4 stars because they haven't updated their address and we drove to the wrong location based on Yelp. The team was friendly and responsive. We called the day before and they had us come in early the next day. They were quick and helpful. They are also the ONLY place in Albuquerque that seem to work on Espar heaters in vans. I have had significant service issues trying to get my roof lifts replaced. To date 5 of them have broken. Now the new service person Trina says it's "not her fault" that she never followed up with me to ensure I got taken care of as they "handed this off to Forest River", Thats awesome but I paid your organization for my camper, and it's very basic to close the loop on issues and make sure your customers are happy vs passing the buck. What an absolute joke! First I schedule the trailer, to have warranty work performed, and have to wait a month. Once at the shop, the trailer stayed there for three months to fix a window, window seal, kitchen slide-out seal and the hitch area light. When I finally got it back and used it for the first time; we found the seal around the window continues to leak. We also found additional issues not related to the original warranty fix but last and certainly not least, our hitch area light is still absent with Ram Motors still not having "received" the light after requesting expedited shipping. Meanwhile, I see the same item on Amazon that I could get in three days. The work is not worth the time taking your rig to their shop! The trailer was left with marks on the floor that weren't there previously, our hitch lock is now missing, and the communication sucks! I have thus far called and left a message and also left a voice mail on their system. Three days later, no call back. In short- I am specifically stating this company is a sham, they steal, they lie, and they do not taut the "drive for customer service excellence"! Thought I'd give a small business a try and looking to enjoy some "neighborly business". Boy was I mistaken! The level of unprofessionalism, lack of concern, or regard for customer satisfaction was severely lacking. I was hoping that I found a business that I could do many years of business with, and I expressed that, but they didn't care. Truck shouldn't have been on the for sale lot since it wasn't ready. I know I should've walked away but I did fall in love with the truck I got. I just wish acquiring it didn't leave me with so much regret. Although they paid for it, I had to take it for the inspections, to get minor windshield repares done, and I didn't even get a full tank of gas! The wipers were worn and no floor mats added insult. The pay-off for my trade-in almost went the distance where I would've had to make that payment so that it would've affect my credit! Super slow! If you're looking for a new vehicle or RV, this is NOT the place to come!! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! read more

We recently purchase a brand new travel trailer from Ram Motors. My rating is based on our sales experience, delivery, and some warranty work after our first outing. Everyone that we have worked with so far has been friendly and helpful. Joseph and Richard were the two sales reps that we worked directly with, and they were both helpful and patient. We ended up financing with a lending partner that they found for us as it was a better rate that we could find ourselves. When we took delivery they were very informative and took their time to walk us through everything from tongue to bumper, inside and outside. There was a problem with the electric tongue jack, but they swapped it out immediately. We took a short three day trip before heading out to California to test out everything. The fresh water tank had a leak and did not hold water. We knew from plenty of research that every new travel trailer has a bug or two to work out, but we called them on a Friday to let them know about the problem. LT (LaTanya) and Susan were very concerned and understood our need to get it fixed before our next trip. We really appreciate their positive attitude and professionalism. We had the trailer in on Monday and it turned out to be a loose fitting (came that way from factory). We have not yet tested the tank, but we were able to get our trailer back two days before our California trip. Stan and I are very happy with our experiences with Ram Motors to this point. Don't bother wasting your time for service here! I bought my KZ out of NM; the first question I was asked when I called to schedule warranty work was: Did you buy your camper here? When I answered no, I was told they couldn't fit me in for two months. Two months later they did some minor work, including a safety recall for the gas connection. Things seemed ok. Using my camper, turns out I had a leaky skylight, so I called to schedule that & a few other issues that had popped up. Took my unit in, called two weeks later for status & was asked "what is your camper here for?" Was told skylight was on order from KZ, but it never arrived. They kept my camper for one month and did nothing but let the battery die. As I had a trip scheduled took my camper; they said parts were on order & they would let me know when everything arrived. Over 6 weeks and after leaving three messages with service manager, Jason, never received a return call & found another business to take care of me. The service department is WORTHLESS and UNPROFESSIONAL. Save yourself great headache and go somewhere else - of course if you bought your unit there maybe you'll receive better treatment. read more

I really can't give them 5 or even 4 stars due to the fact the vehicle was not ready as promised and the contract was wrong. I drove 600 miles to pick it up and requested to be there no longer than 30 min for paperwork. Well 2+ hours later, I left. Be sure to really look the vehicle over. After I got home, I found out the power seat did not work, no lights worked on the climate controls and the drivers seat lumbar handle is broken off. Then to add to it, the contract was wrong Twice! I have to say from looking at the website and reading what your goals are to provide exceptional customer service and see how you differ from your competitors to actually going in and trying to purchase a vehicle from you guys we have come to learn is not as enjoyable as you say. We have been in multiple times in the past few weeks. And actually had 2 trucks! 2!!!! Sold from underneath us! Mind you we have looked at about 4. Our sales guy was great! We enjoyed him but going in last Thursday with our sales guy knowing we were bringing the co signer with us and all paperwork that would be needed and to show up to find out that the truck we were coming in to buy was currently being sold. We had to sit there anxiously after applying to see who gets approved first. The other guy did. So we proceeded to ask you about a King Ranch what kind of "deal" you could work. While we're waiting for that approx about 30 minutes is what we still continued to wait for we just decided to head out and leave. Our sales guy comes out with the so called deal of maybe $1000 less. Whatever that's not a deal. So we leave and later on that evening we get word that we weren't approved for the truck anyways. Was it because the other guy got approved first or we just weren't approved who knows? We had looked at another truck about 2 weeks earlier that was still there and so Saturday we decided to tell our sales guy go ahead and lets move forward with that one. So he says ok you guys don't need to be here for it until it's approved so we say ok. Here comes 8pm and we still haven't heard anything so we contacted him and he says the systems were down we will find out Monday. Well here it is today! Monday and we found out the truck was sold on SUNDAY!!! Excuse me for thinking that you guys were closed on Sunday's. It only says that on the website! Our sales guy proceeds to tell us he's sorry it's first come first serve. We should have done it when we were there on Thursday. Think of where we're coming from right now. We're hesitant on Thursday after you guys already sold one truck from underneath us. So we took a day to think about it. Here's where we get really mad. He proceeds to tell us well if the owner wants to come in and do a deal on a Sunday that's up to him. Ok but how is that fair to us who out in the paperwork on SATURDAY!!!! It's not our fault YOUR systems were down Saturday?!?!? And if we knew we could do a deal on a Sunday you better believe we would have been there on Sunday! It is jut good customer service to be picking and choosing who your going to do a deal with on a Sunday and who doesn't get that option!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS CAR DEALESHIP ! Is there anyway to leave this dealership a negative amount of starts? My experience was HORRIBLE to say the least. My boyfriend and I purchased a Volkswagen Jetta last year and regret ever giving them a penny. We went in explaining specifically that we just had our first child and needed a safer vehicle. We bought it for 12,000 and expecting it not break a month after we bought it. The A/C went out and I was really hoping they would care about our new born being in a hot car, that they sold us. We called over and over and Walter,(the owner) didn't even bother to call us back. Long story short, Walter and his car salesmen Will NOT CARE if they sell you a car that they know something is wrong with. I had to pay $800 out of my own pocket to get a new compressor installed. Great purchase and service experience. Purchase was easy and they offer very competitive prices. Two weeks before my first trip I had a few small issues including difficulty trying to add my backup camera. They allowed me to bring it by even though they were scheduled three weeks out with appointments. I waited only a few hours and everything was squared away. We just got back from our first trip up to Trinidad Lake and it was amazing. Give these guys a shot before you go anywhere else. Especially if you live in Rio Rancho or Belen. Shoppers beware! Spent the last several days negotiating on an RV and agreed on the price and terms with "the boss" through salesperson Uriah. We can't get there until next Thursday (10 days from now) due to work and visitor coming in from out of town. "Boss" says its yours if its still here! Sadly this used car dealer has lowered their standards. My sister bought a vehicle from then only to find the spare tire (hidden under the cover) was in tatters. When she took it back to them them put the cheapest near worn out used tire on. So she will have to end up buying a new set of tires before her first payment is due. We narrowed it down to two travel trailers. I asked him which one he thought was the better of the two he then proceeded to go over all of the features of both TT. He then said it's the one that you prefer. With Thomas there was not any of that high pressure pushy sales pitch. Uriah made completing the paperwork painless. We had to leave as we had plans that afternoon and made an appointment to come back a few hours later. Walked in 5 minutes early and right on time we completed the paperwork. Uriah made what is normally a boring sign here sign there formal no frills time a fun experience. We were joking around having a good time. We went back a week later and Thomas walked us through every feature, how everything worked and being this is my first experience with black water how to drain and clean our tanks. I just picked up my "new" used 5th wheel! I can't be more excited, I am so looking forward to be in the hills instead of the city! I have to say that I had a great experience at Ram Motors , I originally had Walter, who is one of the owners walk me through some nice trailers. I then met with Thomas, who continued to help me find the right trailer for me, he spent time looking for a unit I could put a W/D and enough room for my sewing machine...I finally decided on a used 5th wheel that has all the room I need! Thank you Thomas, I know I drove you crazy! Uriah was a treat to deal with , as I continued to drive him nuts....he always kept me on track, helped with all the paperwork and was so kind in helping with all my questions! Thank you Uriah! You are delightful! But above all the great people that walked me through this process, I definitely have to mention Frankie!!! Frankie was so professional, so knowledgeable and most of all so "in charge"of all the things that needed to get done for my final walk through. Several things had been forgotten and needed to be addressed. Frankie got right on it, got the people in place to accomplish all that needed to be done!( thank you service team! )... I can't tell you how much that helped me get through the process, I felt I had someone " on my side". I had to postpone moving my trailer as I was hesitant to sign off on the refrigerator, I'm not familiar with trailers, and did not understand how they work. Everyone agreed to have me come back to double check the temp of the refrigerator a few days later and to make sure it had been plugged in for more than 24 hours. The wife and I bought a 27 foot travel trailer a few weeks ago and the staff there was very attentive and very helpful! They worked with this on everything we needed, and worked with us on the price. Great people! Even though they are a smaller RV and travel trailer dealer they have the knowledge to help you with whatever you may need. If you are a 1st time camper trailer buyer, trust me, do not buy form this place! We made it very clear to the salesman we dealt with that this was our first time dealing with a camper trailer, we did not know a thing about them. He ran through everything within 30 minutes, never explaining things properly or clearly, just "this is this and this is that, this does this and this does that." We only used it 2 times and there was already a leak in the ceiling, we fried our brakes in our vehicle because he never said anything about towing it or what was needed, the brake away switch broke after our 4th time using it and they said it was "user error" charging us over $1,000 to fix, we had to learn everything from friends and family about how to operate the darn thing, the salesman didn't explain barely anything. They took over a month to even examine the damages we had. Do not deal with Thomas, the salesman. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I won a "NO RESERVE" auction on Ebay and when I contacted them to complete the purchase, I was told that "they weren't going to take a loss" and that they would get back to me. I have emailed and called them several times with no response, other than they wanted another $4000 on top of the winning bid price to complete the purchase. Great place! Have not had great experiences with previous dealerships so I am always nervous when it is time to buy another car. However, this was not the case at Ram Motors. It is a small dealership but with full service - sales and a shop. I bought my car from Mike McCulley and he was patient as I conferred with both my dad and my husband via phone and dealt with an out of state bank for the loan. He even talked to my dad who asked additional questions about the car that I didn't know to ask because I know so little about vehicles. Additionally, he worked diligently to ensure that I got the best deal possible. They also promised to match a trade in deal I had already received for my previous car and then ended up increasing the trade in price to make sure the deal worked and I was taken care of. I truly have nothing bad to say about this place and would recommend it to everyone. They are all very professional and yet haven't lost the personal touch or care that so many big places seem to loose sight of. As someone who does not know what to look for in cars, it is nice feeling that I am being well taken care of and that is the feeling you get here. read more

I was leery about looking at a car from yet another dealer. All the previous ones were very dishonest. As a 74-year-old female who knows zilch about cars, I felt among sharks in the water. When I was told there was nothing wrong at all with used Camry I wanted to check out at Ram Motors, I thought, "Yeah, right," and nervously made the trek out there (a long trip for me). But I wanted to look at it, anyway, as it seemed the perfect car for me. Kris Finch, the person I so happily worked with, was right - and honest - from the get-go. My mechanics, whom I trust implicitly (Reincarnation in Albuquerque) verified there was nothing wrong at all with the car, so I hurried to buy it. The whole staff of this local business (support local!) is welcoming, friendly, efficient and very helpful. And not at all pushy about anything. Didn't try to get me to "buy up" or spend more money that I didn't want to spend. An altogether very pleasant experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend them! read more

I had originally had high hopes for RAM Motors. They had the exact car I wanted right down to the transmission and color. It was the 2006 black Subaru Baja Turbo that they have on their lot. When I stopped by last week on Thursday I did a quick once over of the car and took it for a test drive with their salesman Stephen. On a side note, Stephen is new but he was very helpful the entire time. So this review isn't about him. If it was he'd get 5 starts. So we take the car on a test drive and one of the first things I noticed was a grinding sound when shifting into 4th gear. Not a deal breaker but it's something I wanted their shop to look at. I also noticed that the sunroof wasn't working properly. It would open fine but when you tried to close it, it would just stop until you coaxed it to move while holding the switch down and wiggling it. When we got back I talked to Chris, one of the managers. He said he'd look into the problems right away and he immediately went to drive it himself. When he got back he noticed the same problems with 4th gear and the sunroof. According to him he said his mechanics looked over the sunroof and didn't notice any problems so they just left it. Obviously it did have problems though. Then he said the grind in 4th gear was probably from the previous owner not using the clutch to shift. That was a major red flag right there. I'm not sure why he would even tell me that. I asked them what they would do and he said he'd get it back in their shop right away. Mind you this was Thursday (5/12/16). So I call back Friday to get an update. The update was that there was none. On Saturday I went back to the dealership to try and get an update. Chris told me that since I showed interest in the car I was a "Priority Customer" and he would definitely make sure it would go in the shop first thing Monday morning. Monday evening rolls around I haven't received any calls. When I finally do call guess what? It still hasn't gone in the shop. Chris then asks me to "Give them a chance". What happened to this car and me being a priority? So Wednesday comes by and it still hasn't been looked at. At this point I was getting tired of this so I contacted another mechanic to have him look at the vehicle for me. He said he could look at it first thing Thursday morning. I wanted to take the car myself but they would only let me do an extended test drive for a max time of 2 hours. If they can't get the car in the shop after 5-6 days how am I supposed to get it looked at in 2 hours? So Stephen offers to drive the car from Rio Rancho to my mechanic in Albuquerque Thursday morning. That is only one of the many reasons why Stephen would get a 5 star review. After my mechanic inspects the vehicle he tells me the transmission problem is probably bad synchros and the transmission may need a rebuild. He also points out that the valve gaskets may start to leak soon, there is tire rot, and there is no sign of the 100k mile service having been performed. The car has about 134K miles on it. Now knowing what is wrong with the vehicle and what it will cost to fix I meet Stephan back at the dealership to start negotiating a price for the Baja and what they will give me for my trade in. One thing I forgot to mention was that on the first day I came in I told Chris what I owned on my trade in and he said "No problem!" and said it would probably book for $2k over what I owed. Also, during this time they had dropped the price on their website for the Baja from $13,998 down to $13,398. Back to negotiating. Stephen fills out the paper work to do the appraisal on my car and submits it along with my offer on the Baja. Another employee comes back and then offers me $2k less than what I owe on my vehicle and has the Baja priced at $13,998. The first thing I point out is that the price for the Baja on their website is $600 less. He then responds "Oh, I didn't know you had looked at the website." Right there I felt like they are trying to rip me off hoping I haven't kept up to date with the current price of their vehicle. He goes on to say that "Sometimes the owner lowers prices on the website without telling me". Are you telling me he can't just check their own website real quick to be sure he has the correct price? I tell him that I need more for my trade-in and the price on the Baja needs to be lower. He then tells me to just try and go sell my car on my own and to come back and try to buy the Baja then. Clearly we weren't going to make a deal so I politely said goodbye to Stephen and left. This is by far the worst dealership I've ever dealt with and I will never be back nor will I ever recommend them to anyone. If anyone asks me about them I'll say "Avoid RAM Motors at all cost". read more
