Absolute best customer service ever! Andrew is the model for what all businesses should strive for. He is knowledgeable, polite, responsive and caring. We couldn't be happier with the service we received. I wish we could give more than five stars. We were away from our home for the month of December, and between a vacant house and torrential rains we had the perfect situation for "visitors" to move into our warm and dry attic. We returned to find bits of our ceiling on the fireplace hearth. We quickly realized we had unwanted guests...but didn't know which species. Unbelievably loud scratching and gnawing followed and much "freaking out" on my part. Andrew and Bret spent an entire day at our home discovering where the entry point was and where they had made themselves comfortable in our attic space. While Bret was in the attic the squirrels vacated the premises and Andrew did the exclusion work on all the places they could attempt to get in as well as the original entry point. They checked top and bottom to eliminate any possible entry points for all critters. They also set traps top and bottom and came out within the week to check for any activity. We had a small mishap with a vent hood on the roof which created a portion of it being more "open" than it originally was......only to discover a persistent squirrel realizing the change and attempting to gain access to our attic once again!! Andrew was out the following morning to fix the problem. Since then we have heard no noises nor have we had any indication the squirrels are back in our home. Andrew and Bret are going to return again within the week to check the traps. Andrew runs a professional business, is very knowledgeable and his prices are very reasonable. We contacted Andrew the Wednesday before Thanksgiving after discovering that rats had invaded our crawl space and eaten through our heating ductwork. We were beside ourselves knowing that we could not use the heating system or have the ductwork replaced until the rats were ALL gone (and WINTER IS COMING!!!). Andrew came out THAT DAY. He investigated our property and showed us multiple points of possible entry, explained his methods of exclusion and provided us with a solid estimate which included cleanup, exclusion and followup removal until our property was rat free. He was on the job within days, despite the Thanksgiving holiday. He sealed up all the openings, cleaned up all the disgusting rat evidence and set traps in our crawl space and also our garage. I am hopeful that we are approaching a rat free existence again - although I'm only cautiously optimistic currently as we have now only gone almost 24 hours without a rat in a trap!! I can't believe that this news brings me actual JOY! Andrew has been super understanding about our circumstances and our need to get our house buttoned up quickly and the problem controlled so we can begin work on replacing our heating ducts. Professional, knowledgable, efficient and thorough... Andrew provided an excellent evaluation of our rodent problem and gave a written plan of the proposed work and an estimate of the associated costs - importantly, the plan was worked as proposed and the cost estimate did not change. We were in the process of readying our home for sale and our excellent and very experienced realtors expressed concern about the unprofessional rodent businesses they had used and their experiences with very high costs for the work. Andrew provided the work for a reasonable price and the staff professionalism and quality of work was excellent. Our on-site technician was Rob and he took the extra time to explain the strategy he would use to seal, remediate, disinfect and monitor the results of the work. We were impressed with how thorough he was with the tedious work of sealing every potential opening, using screen and ready mix cement. This was a very important step and it could easily have been conducted poorly and without attention to detail. We were so happy with the quality of Rob's effort and his clear attention to customer relations; making sure we understood what he was doing and trying to achieve. Amazingly, he took his boots off before entering our home! Rob conducted the hard work of cleaning all the evidence of rodent activity from the crawl space and attic(s), using a vacuum and manually raking out and re-fluffing our blown-in insolation. He then sprayed a chemical free deodorizer in these spaces and set multiple traps to start a monitoring program. We were very pleased with the professionalism of this company and especially the individuals who are clearly emphasizing service quality, something that is not easily found today... I have to echo all the other 5 star ratings here! Andrew is professional, responsive, arrives on time and does the job he promises. I knew I had a serious rat problem in my attic. I have a pull down ladder in my garage for attic access and when opened, masses of rat droppings fell to the floor. Horrible thing to see. I always do my due diligence and had spoken with 2 other other companies before selecting Rat Trappers. Andrew returned my call same day, came out next day, evaluated the situation, answered all of my questions and provided a fair and competitive bid along with a guarantee. He was thorough and knowledgeable regarding the rat proofing, sealing every place the rats were getting in including roof covings, vents around house base, crawl space. Next step was to remove my 25+ year old blown-in insulation which was soaked with rat droppings. He then sanitized my attic and set traps in the event that there were still any rats hiding up there. He came back for several weeks to check the traps and when it was clear there weren't any more rats, he and his team put new insulation into my attic. Great customer service isn't just about showing up and doing good work. It's how a company treats you when there is a problem. Well, no one is perfect and one of his guys accidentally stepped down while in the attic causing a small crack in my ceiling. Andrew immediately took care of it. When I started seeing little black pellets in the shed and back areas of the house, I knew we had a problem. My family and I had grown up in rural places before, but rodents in our house or even the shed, was not going to fly. We had just moved to this area because of my job, and I didn't expect our new place to be the center of a rodent infestation. My wife was on me to call someone, so I did. I first searched the internet for local people, and found myself overwhelmed. I have never done this before, and was quite lost. So I decided to take a chance on one of them, and I called Andrew. At first, I was a little hesitant about someone coming to the house for this problem, but the back area of the house is one of our favorite spots, and these pests just had to go. okay...it has been a while since Andrew came by my place. But after talking to my boss about how good the business looks now without the rats around, I had to say something about my house that he did and the business that I work at. I had told my boss about Andrew at my home and how happy that I was and I suggested Rat Trappers. I am happy to say that both work and home are free from infestation. A house repair company referred me to Rat Trappers (Andrew Arenas) since I was having problems with mice, rats and other critters getting in under my house and in the attic. Andrew came in very quickly gave me a reasonable estimate and performed the work in a timely manner. I have a very long ranch style house, and he came in and cleaned away all the rat and mice droppings under the house, sterilized the area, and then sealed up all the holes underneath the house, outside the house and in the attic. He did a very thorough job. He batched up 5 big holes underneath our house, where mice, rats and even bigger critters were digging under the foundation to get in. He sealed them up with cement, then came back within 2 weeks to see if anyone had gotten back in... and sure enough, one of the critter dug around the batching job, so he did more batch at no additional cost. So far, so good, not rats, mice or other critters have made it back in. I am sure they will try again... it is a constant battle. Okay..here is the deal..rats all gone. I am very happy. Then suddenly I start to see stuff getting messed with again on the outside. Needless to say, i was not happy and considered that thought that our friends the rodents were coming back on me. My house was at battle again. Andrew knew that I wasn't happy and came out the next day to see if the problem had returned. Turns out that it was another problem, but with a racoon. He advised and handled the issue and again I am happy. The vermin was getting into my recyclables because of the smell. He was taken care of and Andrew was able to show me something new..Racoon issues......Andrew is good and has the know how to do it. He is amazing. Now the racoon is gone for good I hope. Depends on how I manage my property. For those with reoccuring issues after Andrew may want to take his advice and take an inventory of your yard...cause Andrew can do all of the work...but you have to do your part as well. I really can't say enough about RAT TRAPPERS they are amazing!!!! We have our home back!!! I was having issues with rats on and off for months and they were out smarting my husband and I. We first spoke with a Home Depot associate who gave us some tips but they did not get rid of the rats we use the foam he recommended and the rat's just chewed back through it. We called a few companies to come out and give us estimates and I got to say some companies try to oversell one company tried to charge us over 6000 and that was outrageous! Andres (Andrew) is by far one of the most honest people I have had the pleasure to work with. I called all over asking for quotes to help with the rodent problem in my crawl space, and most wanted to sign me up for ridiculous contracts to HOPEFULLY remedy the problem that I was dealing with. Upon calling him, not only did he give me a fair quote, but he was able to squeeze me in the next day and come by my house! I've had friends in pest control and even they've told me that's pretty rare to occur. In the end he not only rodent proofed the openings to my basement, but he was able to take care of the nasty little critter who was causing all the ruckus! A big thank you to Andrew and crew for helping me with this issue. it is disturbing and disgusting to have rats in your attic but I feel confident that Andrew fixed the problem completely. It has been about 3 weeks since he finished the work. They sealed all points of possible entry outside along with sealing areas inside the attic. They cleaned up much of the mess in the attic to make it easier to spot evidence of new activity. He has been back twice to check the traps in the attic and there is no sign of activity and the traps are empty! We did set some traps outside and caught 5 of them. Three the first week and two the second week. So far, we haven't caught any more. I am hopeful that this issue is fully remedied. I am happy there is a one year warranty or guarantee and if I have any issues I just need to call. This gives me some peace of mind. We had a few estimates done for rat proofing our home and garage, some less and some more than Rat Trappers. We decided to choose Andrew and his crew based off of their knowledge and reputation. One of our neighbors hired them a couple years back and had great things to say. The process was easy. I called the phone number off yelp and scheduled an estimate the following morning. I think the actual proofing was done two days later, maybe 3 but it wasn't long. The office manager Michelle worked with my schedule every week for follow up appointments until there was no more activity and then returned for a follow-up to ensure there wasn't anything new. I waited about 6 more months to write a review to make sure everything worked out perfectly. We're still covered under warranty and I'm confident the problem is solved. I can't thank Andrew enough for getting rid of the rats that invaded our garage and crawl spaces, eliminating all traces of their disgusting mess, and fortifying our house so that they can't get back in. I found Rat Trappers on the internet, and read their Yelp reviews. Very good! So I called them to help me with a skunk that had been coming and going under my house for a long time. Andrew listened carefully to my concerns and asked me several times during the service call if I had any questions. Where I had checked only the vent screens, Andrew walked the entire perimeter of the house, and found a large hole at the foundation. Continuing with a thorough evaluation of my property, Andrew's partner, Bret, crawled under the house to make sure the skunk wasn't under there. They proceeded to fill the access hole with concrete to 3 or 4 times the size of the hole to prevent re-entry. Andrew and Bret arrived on time and worked steadily the entire time they were here. Once done, the traps were set and baited. He came out weekly (more frequently when I told him they needed his attention) to change out the traps. Well, Andrew came back out this week, but for a laptop repair issue and not a follow up on the area. I didn't expect him to stop by. But when he did, he took it upon himself to do a follow up. Not many companies do a follow up and Andrew just did it out of the blue, no cost. He confirmed that the area was still free from rodent infestation. Andrew takes his work serious as well as his clients. I will continue to review this company...like the others I do. I had large rats leaving droppings daily in house and garage, and I tried traps to no avail. Desperate, I called Andrew, who came soon, inspected roof and walls of house for entry places for rats, as well as garage, crawl space under house, attic, and everywhere in house.
