Wagyu Burger

Very nice spot. Popular restaurant so it's loud and busy. Burger was really tasty. Regular fries were stale. Sweet potato fries were much better. Coffee is mid but i get it it's not a coffee spot. Server was quick and attentive.

Stopped here for dinner after work with a friend, and I'm glad we did! It was a Friday evening, and I am glad we made a reservation. It was a Twins Game night and beautiful weather, so this place was understandably busy. We arrived early and we able to be seated before our reservation, which was so sweet! The food was great, I ordered the grilled cheese with tomato soup and my friend had the house salad with shrimp. I've been to other Red Cow locations, all have been so great. We will be back!

We stopped in for a late lunch on a gorgeous Saturday and were lucky enough to snag a table out on the patio (a must as we had our pup with us). The patio was very pretty and a relaxing area to sit. Service was great, and they even bring out a bowl of cold water for your canine companion. We ordered the Double Barrel Burger and the Baja Bowl, and both were well-prepared and tasty. We'll definitely be back to try more of their menu options.

Had a great experience at the North Loop location. The space has an elevated, modern feel, and the overall vibe is really well done. Definitely a great patio option in the warmer months. Food was solid across the board. I had the double barrel burger, which was good, pretty classic but well executed. The ahi tuna crisps were fine, but not something I'd order again. The standout for me was the gluten-free wings. I love that they offer them gluten free, and the sauce was amazing. Drinks were also great. The margarita was fantastic. No shortage of amazing cocktails here. The menu is impressively diverse with a lot of options, and everything feels a step above typical bar food. Service was amazing and really made the experience. Parking is what you'd expect for North Loop, mostly street parking.

Tater Tots and Ultimate Burger

Great space. Private dining room, bar with tv's, clean bathrooms etc. The food was great, a burger and the chicken sandwich and the tots. A little kick but worth it. We had drinks too and the bar was hopping. We've been for brunch but this was great and we will be back. There's even free parking in a covered spot. But meters are all around.

The host was so kind! We wanted to sit outside but when we got there it was too windy. She let us move indoors. Just stopped in for drinks and apps but everything came out fast and hot. Our server Sydney was super nice! Had a great after work happy hour.

Interior sports bar area

Overall, we were unimpressed by Red Cow. It's a nice enough space, but it feels rather soulless and the contrast between the more intimate, sophisticated dining space and the sports bar area is a bit jarring. The service was fine. The food and drink are decent, but outrageously priced for the quality. The burgers are about $20 each and don't even include fries! I could name several places with much better burgers for way better prices. I got the Le Shroom burger and it was just okay. Everything was over-salted. The best part of the meal was the creme brulee, which was pretty tasty. We don't plan on returning, as we had a mediocre dining experience at a frankly prohibitive price.

This restaurant is so tasty! We got the ahi crisps as our appetizers and they were delicious. For entrees, we got the fish & chips, shrimp linguini, and a burger. They were all amazing. Our server was great and friendly. Also, she had great lashes! The restaurant wasn't too loud and it was sleek inside. The parking is street since it's in the North Loop area. Definitely a place we will go back and make a staple in our rotation!

Ultimate burger, Everything Nice Dirty Soda cocktail, Tater tots

Best burger I've had in a while. I ordered the Ultimate with lettuce/tomato/onion. Sooo good, definitely hit the spot. My partner ordered the Blues 2.0 which he liked as well but didn't realize it was on a French roll and not a regular burger bun (our fault!). The tater tots were also bomb. Mac n cheese was mediocre. I ordered the "Everything Nice Dirty Soda" which is probably my favorite drink I've ordered at a restaurant ever. Service was wonderful, our waiter was very attentive and charismatic.

Tuna poke bowl A+ If you're underwhelmed by this photo. It's deceiving, this was excellent.

Wow! This place was amazing! We walked in without a reservation (if you're pondering going here make a reservation). Wait was 20-30 min. We wanted to get a drink at the bar but there wasn't space. A really attentive waitress recognized our thirsty party and brought us a round of drinks. The tab was transferred to our table. When seated we asked our waitress for a recommendation. She recommended the fondue burger special (A+), the tuna poke bowl (if there's a picture posted here and you're underwhelemd, don't be deceived it was excellent! ) the GoudaHash was equally as excellent as well, and the steak bowl had bursts of flavor. Atmosphere A+ Service A+ Food A++

Stopped into Red Cow North Loop for happy hour and ended up having a great time. The new remodel gives the place a modern, open feel and makes grabbing drinks feel a bit more elevated. We ordered an appetizer, split the Blues 2.0 burger, and tried a couple of drinks. Everything hit the spot, but the standout for me was the guacamole paired with their strawberry margarita. That combo alone is worth coming back for. Huge shoutout to Abby M, who took amazing care of us. She was attentive, friendly, and made the whole visit even better. Overall, great food, great drinks, and great service. I'll definitely be back for happy hour.

blues 2.0

Came here before a Timberwolves game for happy hour, and it did not disappoint! They have a ton of great options, and the atmosphere is lively and fun. The recent interior updates look fantastic and really fit the North Loop vibe. We sat in the bar area, and our bartender was super attentive. Even though it was busy, our glasses never went empty. For food, we tried the happy hour guacamole, which was topped with radicchio and jalapeños. It was very flavorful, though a bit spicy for me. For dinner, my boyfriend and I shared the Blues 2.0 burger. It was a unique take on a classic since it came on a French roll. I'd probably ask for a little extra blue cheese next time, as it tends to fall off when served hot, but otherwise it was delicious. There's a lot to choose from on the menu, so there's something for everyone. I'll definitely be back!

The best grilled chicken tacos!

Food was delicious! Service was amazing, we didn't wait long for our food. Our party consisted of 6, everyone loved their food! Highly recommend!!

This is the best burger in Minneapolis, if not the entire state. I had the 60/40 burger last time I went. It was amazing.

Do you still have the all you can eat fish fry?

We do have a fish and chips on our menu, its 3 pieces of fish but we do not offer the all-you-can-eat.

Do you take reservations for large groups on Saturday nights?

The restaurant is first come, first served for all sizes! They do have a virtual waitlist on their website, and they encourage getting drinks and appetizers at the bar while you wait for the table!

Do you have turkey burgers?

They do! They mix in avocado and garbanzo beans into the patty to keep it nice and juicy then serve it with arugula, radish, crushed pistachio, and a cilantro-lime aioli on a Wuollet Bakery hamburger bun! It is the reigning champion 'Best Bird…

The waiter suggested smooth red wine (Syrah from Washington) It was the BEST wine I've ever had and I'm not a wine person. I can't seem to find it on the menu or anywhere else. Where can I find it? Thanks

Hello! My guess is that you had the Dusted Valley Stained Tooth Syrah. It is a wine feature we are running through March so it is not actually on our current menu. You can find this at a number of liquor stores in the area. Thanks so much and I hope…

Is your veggie love burger vegan? Any other vegan items?

Yes the veggie love burger is vegan! I just got it today. The normal bun unfortunately isn't vegan, but the gluten-free bun is otherwise they offer a lettuce wrap. The fries are vegan and there are a couple salads that are actually labeled vegan on…

I won't say more because it will spoil the surprise. They really just went all out with the newspaper theme, table tops, walls, menus, etc. It was surprisingly not crowded for dinner time. The service was quick, the server was friendly and attentive, and our meals were delightful. We got the brie curds and wow, I think these were the most amazing curds I've ever had. I could have just had a pile of them as my meal, but that didn't really seem wise. They come with a blueberry 'ketchup' which was more like a jam but really made the dish! My meal was the mushroom gorgonzola penne which was cooked just right and had piles of mushrooms, and yes, more cheese. This place was a lot of fun. I highly recommend it if you get a chance.

She had a personality of a Styrofoam cup filled with distilled water. She never asked if I wanted anything else when I was done eating (like dessert). There was no conversation or engagement. I was bored. I left. I'd go back I suppose since the food was good, but at a bar, the bartender should at least have a personality?

The restaurant was understaffed - the bartender was not only running the bar but also serving the entire dining area. We sat at the bar and waited about 10 minutes before being greeted. We also overheard a nearby table voice frustration about the slow service. We're pretty patient, so it wasn't the end of the world, but it was noticeably slow. That said, once we were helped, our server was friendly and attentive. I ordered a Spicy Margarita and my husband went with an Old Fashioned. My margarita was on the weaker side; not bad, just forgettable. My husband enjoyed his Old Fashioned. For food, we tried the Bang Bang Shrimp, Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps, and the Crab-Stuffed Portabella. The standout was definitely the Bang Bang Shrimp; we both really liked it. The lettuce wraps and stuffed mushroom were fine, just not dishes we'd return specifically for. The overall vibe was calm and low-key, and the staff was kind despite being stretched thin. I'm glad we gave it a try, but it's probably not a place we'll be rushing back to.
