I come here frequently about once a week. Food has always been OK and the prices for lunch are good. They give you a lot of food, including soup and egg roll with lunch. I'm usually pleased. But today was not good at all. The Szechuan pork was so sweet, it was not edible. The eggroll while crispy was absolutely cold not even a little bit warm. I ordered a glass of Chardonnay it was not cold, I did not drink it. So for lunch, I pretty much had crispy wontons, white rice and water. I was very disappointed with my meal. And I will have to look for another local lunch place for Chinese food, which makes me sad. read more

**Update: 12/18/18 I've been here twice in the past couple of weeks and the food has gone way downhill. Nothing tasted fresh and had this weird almost rancid taste, like the oil is old and everything was greasy. I won't be going back anytime soon which is sad because it was my favorite. Red ginger is my favorite Chinese place in the IE. Everything is very fresh and not very greasy, I appreciate that they have vegan options. The service is usually very good when I've eaten in. I ordered from here cause it was close to work. They delivered fairly quickly and the portions are huge! I got the chicken lettuce wraps and teriyaki chicken with sauce on the side. When I walked in, as always a friendly smile. The hustle and bustle in the restaurant, it was packed and alive. The aroma was thrilling and the ambiance was welcoming. I completed my transaction and waited less than 10 minutes and my order was given to me with a smile. Great service and not to mention the food was simply delicious. My bf really hyped this place up because his family has been going here for a long time. Safe to say, it's one of the main places we have lunch or dinner when we visit his family. Really surprised there's actually a good Chinese restaurant around here. I love the appetizer they provided, the crispy noodles, omg they were so addictive I couldn't stop eating them. They even refilled our plate and I seriously just ate that for most of the time... the sauce goes along perfectly with it. But the food is great too. I thought we ordered too much - chicken corn soup, wor wonton soup, and sweet and sour pork that comes with fresh rice. Emphasis on FRESH, because so many restaurants nowadays do not serve fresh rice, usually leftovers from the day before. Also watch out when they say the soup is for 2 people... it's actually for like 4 people. So we thought we could get both types but turns out it was way too much as you can see from my picture. I probably wouldn't recommend the sweet and sour pork because I felt like there wasn't that much pork inside of it. They gave us fortune cookies and oranges at the end - a perfect finish to our meal. Imagine the shock! One of the better and actually one of only a handful of Chinese restaurants in Corona (underscore restaurants.....fast food storefronts like Mr. You and Magic Wok don't cut it) suddenly having a completely new name on their sign. We had frequented the old, now defunct Golden China, because it was dependable and close in proximity, even though quite Americanized. But it did not make my heart sing. While still obviously Chinese cuisine, Mr. B was reluctant to try something new. You see, Corona does not have a large Asian community like LA and Orange counties do, so the authenticity and deliciousness are just not expected to be here. But you know the old addage, if you don't try it, you will never know. I guess you could say I twisted his arm. First surprise. Since we were unaware of the take over, we did not know they had done a thorough makeover during a "remodling shut down". It is much more stylish and upscale in appearance now, but still maintaining a lovely ancient Chinese ambiance. Rich wood carvings, some painted with gold, red walls, tables instead of booths. Tasteful, rich looking and welcoming. Second surprise. The huge menu, while still featuring all the favorite dishes from before, now included some Thai, Japanese (some teriyaki dishes), and Korean dishes, and even an appetizer that had "Cowboy" in it's name. Not sure if I would go for that one. Third surprise. Mr. B conceded he loved it. Actually far better than the old Golden China. Our dishes, and I always order way too much, were each worthy of repeating. Starting with the obligatory crispy noodles you get to dip in a delicious, not too sweet, sweet and sour sauce, to a war won ton soup, to a sizzling pan fried noodle dish covered with shrimp, chicken, beef, and a few vegetables, from salt and pepper shrimp (head and shell on!) to a salt and pepper pork chop ( yeah, we don't always do "healthy"), each was tormentingly delicious. Oh yeah. We DID do a vegetable...a stir fried garlic green bean dish that was awesome too. Phew... got at least one semi-healthy dish to offset the sinful other stuff. The dishes came out quickly. The portions were generous. The prices, reasonable. Even a nice laundry list of lunchtime specials. And the service stellar. Bottom line? A beautiful restaurant in a town otherwise devoid of really good Chinese food. While some places come close, this one is more of the real deal. They already have the experience of running a nice restaurant because of it's sister restaurant in Temecula, which Yelpers seem to appreciate. I would happily recommend coming here. This used to ne a good place to go. Unfortunately its gone down hill. Upon entering they only had 3 clean tables. All the tables had dirty dishes. I half expected a cockroach to perform riverdance on the the all the dirty dishes.The sizzling soup had no sizzle. Its as if they dropped a box of stale rice krispies into a bowl of salt broth and tossed vegestables into the as if they were playing corn hole. We only ordered 3 dishes along with the fried rice and only 2 came out. The main reason we came to the restaurant was for the salt and pepper pork chops. No sal. No pepper. No pork chops. If i knew my food was going to be this bad. I would have had panda express, fadt food sitting under heat lamps would have been a better experience. If i could i would have given negative stars. I ordered the catering in this Chinese restaurant for our weekend film set. Their chicken, shrimp, beef with broccoli, mushroom tofu, chow mein, pad thai, and white rice were all absolutely delicious. I particularly liked their three types of shrimp, which were perfectly cooked and had a great texture. The beef with broccoli was also delicious, with tender beef and perfectly cooked broccoli. The mushroom tofu was also delicious, with a delicate texture. The chow mein and pad thai were both delicious and had an authentic flavor without being too greasy. The white rice was also very good, fluffy, and soft. Overall, the food at this restaurant was fantastic, and the service was also very attentive. I was worried about the food would not be enough for a 25+ people crew but they actually gave us 5 big trays and every day we left lots of the food after everyone was full and happy! Food is decent but make sure you tell them to be sure to add the dipping sauces. We ordered a ton of egg roll and wontons and they forgot all the dipping sauces. We called to ask for them and they ended up saying sorry and said they won't bring us our sauces. I don't know about you but I need my dipping sauces. Such a waste of money. $80 in food. I couldn't eat them plain. Ended up in the trash. Probably won't order there again. Poor customer service. read more

I've frequented this restaurant in past years, however my last visit was very lackluster than what I remember. We went on a Friday evening and it was empty and silent. Our host brought us to a seating area with tacky LED neon lights on the walls, which I don't remember from last time. They didn't bring us any sauces and there wasn't soy sauce at the table. I remember hot mustard and other sauces. I started feeling ill during the meal and excused myself to the restroom that wasn't clean.. :/ I used to really like this restaurant but it has gone downhill and will have to find a new Chinese restaurant. read more

Second time here and I have to say for the amount of people we had the portions could have been bit larger. The crew (kids) we have eat like an infantry! They will clean you out and then look for more! How many of you parents out there in food land can relate? You need a third income just to feed them crum smackers. The food is pretty good and for what we paid it wasn't as much as we thought it was going to be. Put it this way, my love and I just ate at a local Thai spot for lunch, and it the bill was $20 less than what we paid here for eight people. So I guess I won't complain too much... other than a couple of unclean glasses which they kindly replaced with bigger glasses. We will come back I'm sure because our friends like it here. Great vegan options! My go-to items when I eat here are the veg beef and broccoli, the veg kung pao chicken, and the tofu vegetable soup! Authentic asian cuisine that is tasty is vegan is rare to find in corona or even the IE at all so you have to stop by and support this place.
