Cute atmosphere and the Diet Coke is on point, but that's where it stops for me. The tortilla chips look like grocery store bought and are bland. Most unfortunately the taco meat tastes like cardboard. It ruined the meal for us, we couldn't even finish. So, needless to say we probably won't be back. read more

I have been to this location a few times. The latest two trips have been better than the first, and they have redeemed themselves. Decently priced items but they make up for the cost with flavor! The salsa tastes fresh and has a good level of spice! They have a good rotation of specials and their food arrives quickly and hot. The server was very friendly and had a good recommendation! Red Harbanero is located in Noblesville near Walmart plaza. Ample of parking right in front of restaurant. It can seat 70 people at one time. Decent interior and nice comfortable bench seating. Service was fast and servers are friendly. Like most Mexican restaurants, the menu is full of amazing choices. We ordered mojito Margarita and LA exotica, and they were served under 7 minutes. The Margarita's were delicious. For food, we ordered spinach enchilada and chicken avocado they were served under 10 minutes. They are really fast in serving food. From the moment we arrived Linsey and her husband made us feel like as though we were part of their family. The only complaint is that they do not have a location nearby our home. Great drinks! One of the best margarita menus I have seen with lots of unique options! That being said, the food is good, but not great. There are multiple options we like more in the area for Mexican food but if we are just going out for margaritas, this is our go to place! We had dinner here last night and it was pretty good. We got a chimichanga and the Arroz con pollo and I loved it. My only complaint is there wasn't much rice so it was more like grilled chi chicken breast with cheese sauce with a dab of rice. Chips and salsa were good as well. Presentation was beautiful, service was okay just a slow night, tacos were very dry and soup was a little too mushy for my liking.

Both of us had the triple enchiladas. Unique and delicious. Salsa was a tad spicy in a good way and chips were fresh and crunchy. After reading other reviews I gotta try a margarita next time. Be careful eating here...I came here with my sister and it was okay. My sister went there tonight date being 1/14/2024 for the second time by herself and she stated the staff was being extra weird. She was the only one in there and she ordered what she normally gets and she said the queso tasted off and when she burped she tasted medicine and after a while she felt funny. She said she started to feel tired and tried to get out but the waiter was acting weird, gave her a box but not her check telling her that she had time. She asked for her check at this moment and the guy asked why she didn't touch her food...REMEMBER SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE IN THE RESTAURANT! She then told him she just wanted her check to get home to her little one while still feeling as if she was about to pass out from eating the queso that was spicy and normally not spicy...her bill came up to 37$ which is never that much but she did not ask any questions because she was trying to get out of there...LONG STORY SHORT...MY SISTER IS AT THE HOSPITAL TONIGHT WITH A HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, trying to make sure she did not get drugged for the second time by this restaurant. I don't always love all of the dishes here as compared with other Mexican restaurants, but the ground beef enchiladas are to die for. I could eat them once a week, easily! I crave them in between visits. The salad with shrimp and avocado was delicious on the last visit. Food is fresh and aesthetically pleasing. Y'all this was our first meal in an actual restaurant since everything started closing down. I will never again take for granted sitting in a booth while chowing down on fresh chips and salsa. I loved this space. It was fresh and bright. Maria, our server, was sweet and attentive. I ordered the horchata, because how can you not?! I decided on the fish tacos with mango salsa on corn tortillas. I love a good street style taco. They were tasty but not a dish I was overly excited about. The margarita selection was incredible. The only negative I'd give, but the food more than compensates, is the location. It's so very near to Walmart. Generally a Walmart neighborhood screams "value priced sustenance only". This is not the case. For Indiana, it's decent TexMex. The Chicken Chimiganga IS a thing. Just ask for enough salsa to baptize the plate. In my opinion the music was extremely loud. ..too loud to have a conversation. The food was priced higher than other Mexican restaurants in Noblesville. The chips had the taste of rancid oil. I, personally do not care for the use of food coloring in their chips. When asked if I could have some of the non-colored chip alone. This place is definitely going to go out of business soon. No prices on any of the margaritas. I asked about a couple, and it sounded like the waiter was making up the prices as we spoke, which were absurdly priced. The drinks that did have prices were extremely expensive as well, for only being 20oz. There are so many Mexican restaurants around where you can get margaritas that are excellent for half the price of this place. I don't remember The Red Habanero margaritas being that good either. You can also get queso for half the price at other restaurants. Kids meals are $7 - so not outrageous, but not exactly reasonable. Used to be a big fan so was excited to try their new location in the old Ruby Tuesday's. The choriqueso was awesome as always but everything else was very subpar. They were way understaffed and it was consistently a long wait before we'd see our server. Lots of waiting on drinks and food. My family LOVES Red Hab. LOVES it. Sadly we've noticed a decline in the past year. Prices have skyrocketed while quality has gone down. Chicken is often SUPER dry, and the salsa is now tomato juice... it's awful. So disappointing. We truly loved the ORIGINAL 96th St location. Recently weve been visiting the Noblesville location... just not as good.
