We ate dinner here and I was blown away by the food! We had the munchow soup, which was my favorite. I am normally not a fan of cilantro, but the flavors of the soup were so good, I didn't even realize there was cilantro! We also ordered the indo chino chicken and the Chilli chicken with a side of rice. The Chilli chicken was hands down my favorite entree. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful! Today my friend and I ate here for lunch we had the chicken lettuce boats and the hunan chicken with steamed rice and let me tell you it was delish. The food comes family style which is nice, not to mention we had plenty of food to take home. The service was great I feel bad cause I forgot the gentleman's name who sat us at our table, our server name was Chelsea they were both so kind and very attentive to us, always checking if we needed anything and when we did they brought it right away. The restaurant was very clean, nice background music not loud at all. The food choices all sounded amazing they even have vegetarian dishes and vegan dishes. The menu was easy to read. Was eagerly awaiting trying the place out... Sounded unique. Went with a friend for lunch. I would rate it 5 stars for the food and service. The food was very tasty and flavorful. You can really taste the Indian Chinese mix. Very yummy. The service was great even for it just getting started. They had an issue with the white rice... They thought it might be too crunchy but to me it was fine... They brought out a new one anyway. Great job. My biggest issue and why I gave it only 3 starts is the prices. Wow... It was $38+ for lunch...my portion! Had one dish and split white rice with my friend and a diet Coke. Wow! $10 for plain white rice...plain...not a saffron infused coconut rice... Plain rice was $10! Might want to consider a lunch menu... Shrink the portion size and get out the door closer to $20. I would come back but at these prices not very often. read more

This is an Indo-Chinese style restaurant (Chinese food with Indian flair - a very yummy combination). Went there yesterday for a quick bite. It was still a bit early (6pm ... It is early for dinner - from South Asian time, LOL). It was just two of us and as the restaurant wasn't that busy we got seated immediately. We ordered Hot and Sour Soup, and Chilli Fish as appetizers and Indo-Chino chicken and Chilli Garlic Noodles. Taste: - Soup was more on bland side. Had to add Soy sauce and Chilli vinegar to make some sense out of it. - Chili fish was really good. I would most likely go there just to have this dish. Yumm. - Indo-Chino Chicken... WTF ! Tasted like Teriyaki + desi masala! Avoid Like Plague (ALP) - Chili Garlic noodles - hmm masala Maggie has more flavor. (ALP) To add to injury- there is an uptick to every dish if you add proteins like egg, chicken and shrimp. Bill- Our bill was $80+ for two people. But to be totally transparent, aside from soup (which was $9 for a CUP), everything else was family style and could easily be shared with another adult. This place is EXPENSIVE! Service: Staff is really nice. They are very courteous and checking on tables frequently. At least that was our observation. Conclusion: Will probably wait few months before giving it another shot (Yes, I believe in miracles) I am hoping the kitchen crew gets their act together and starts dishing out Great Tasting Food!!! Bang on flavorful indo Chinese food. We went there to celebrate my father's 70th bday. I have a 7 year old so ordered everything medium spicy and he was ok with the spice level and enjoyed the food . The service was up to the mark. Out server was professional and knowledgeable and was able to answer our questions. The ambience is great showing some old pics of Kolkatta..the only complaint I guess was they do not have a full bar .The owner Snehal was courteous and stopped by our table towards to enquire If everything was OK and we had a good conversation, on learning that it was my Dad's bday he even made sure we got a desert on the house before we left. read more

After closing down of Inchin Bamboo Garden, I felt fusion of Indian Chinese has left the area. Well not any longer. Indo Chinese is back and with red hot chilli pepper, it has come back with a bang. I really really really wanted this to be a good experience as many many of my friends have recommended this restaurant! When we arrived, we were informed that they are not serving any alcohol as they don't have their liquor license, yet that was a little bit of a letdown, but that's OK. We ordered two appetizers and two entrées and our bill was $110. The food was oily extremely greasy over cooked and did not have a great taste. I really want to give this restaurant benefit of the doubt as it was the first week it had opened so I hope to go back and try and have a better experience. All dishes were very oily. Quantity doesn't look like much initially but not sure what they add as the food fills you up pretty quickly. Service with Chelsea was exceptional combined with an ambiance matching its $$ ranking online. However, the average $20.00+ per item does not give justice to what it's worth. We ordered four (items) and it tasted great except that most of the menu should have been named bell pepper or onions since it was filled with them to make them look generous and filling. New restaurant to our area and scheduled to open for in-dining 12/21. They were open for take out last week and the food was delicious! The service, which was a guy handing me my bag with the food, was good. The guy was informative and knowledgeable. The only thing I would say I was not happy about was the final bill. Looks like they're trying to use less eggs and spread it thin to cover the rice. The dumplings weren't any better, dry and the sauce wasn't really good. Super excited to hear RHCP opening up in Folsom as we are big fans of Indo-Chinese food and have visited the Bay area location a few times. Our first visit here was a good one! Went as a group of 5 adults and 2 kids and got a table immediately. Though all the entrées looked to be spicy, thankfully they had some kid friendly noodles and rice options as well. We ordered some appetizers and shared some entrées (paneer in schezwan sauce, vegetable coins in manchurian sauce, chilli garlic noodles, fried rice - all yumm!) and finished with two dessert orders. All items were tasty and delivered reasonably quick too. We would love to visit more frequently to try the other items but the main reason we will think twice about that (and the reason for the 1 star deduction) is the price. This place is on the expensive side as we ended up paying almost $40 a person for a weekday lunch visit despite sharing many dishes. Hopefully, the management re-thinks the pricing strategy or starts a few lunch specials to help us frequent the place more! read more

Gobi Manchurian tasted like trash, cauliflower was of all kind of size and could taste the flour, crispy corn I was tasting uncooked flour, Chilli potato fries which was soggy and uncooked flour as well. The quality was top-shelf! This was really great food. Went in a group last Monday. To me, the main tell after restaurant food is how you feel later. It felt like home cooked food, none of the heaviness or full feeling you get from bad ingredients. So, the chef did a great job! The quantity was above average, the prices on par for Folsom rents. Will be visiting often as it's halal as well per the manager. Recommend the Calcutta chicken, Devil's chicken (this was surprisingly flavorful while all I expected was super hot), szechwan fried rice, hakka noodles.
