They used to make a seafood Caesar salad (shrimp, lobster) that was to die for, but they discontinued it. Their portions have gotten smaller and their prices have skyrocketed! Reviewing the dining room it looked like there was enough seats, so I asked the manager and he said he could seat us but the tables are not together. Went in around 2pm, had been a couple years since I had been to a red lobster but what I can say is it was a disappointing experience. We started with the coconut shrimp that were tasty. We then got a couple different plates , one including scallops and Argentinian shrimp. The scallops were very fishy as if they had been defrosted and sitting for a while and the Argentinian grilled shrimp was almost chewy from being undercooked and tasteless. I decided that for my 58th birthday, I was going to have an early dinner at a nice place. Now, Red Lobster was not at the top of the list because I had been here before a few times. However, since I was looking to eat at around 3:00P.M., and my other two choices were not yet open, so I ended up here. I ordered a Sunset Passion Colada and the Lobster tail, Salmon and Shrimp with Rice Pilaf (the rice was litterly a last minute change that they accommodated easily). Mother's Day rush and Red Lobster totally dropped the ball My family and I wanted something special to eat for dinner on mother's day. And being the not so originals that we are, we went with Red Lobster. Mind you, it's been over ten years since I bought use Red Lobster. We placed our order at about 6:45. We were told it would take 40 minutes. My son headed up there and the parking lot was packed. He found a parking spot for curbside pickup and waited for over an hour. In that time he called the number provided to report where he parked. He stayed holding for that hour and never talked to anyone. In that hour he said he only saw one couple get their order. No idea how long they waited because they were in the building. After another half-hour we decided to cut bait and bail. I tried to call any other number to cancel our order, but because it was now after hours I couldn't cancel my order. I was told by someone I got hold of with customer service that she couldn't help. That I should call the next day to get a refund. It's now been over three hours and they haven't even called after we weren't there to get our order. This is very unprofessional. I know it a small group of employees, but they should have had either a worker or at least a sign letting people know what's going on. "The current wait time is long. Approximately ???" My mother loves Red Lobster, so we take here somewhat frequently. This location is pretty lackluster. The staff is hit or miss, sometimes they are great and sometimes they are really awful and it's about 50/50 which one you're going to get. Also as a side note, this location doesn't serve the cheddar buscuits. They never offer them and every single time I've asked for them, they've claimed they were out. And a general comment that I'm not too stoked about the changes to the menu. The prices went way up and the portions went way down. And a salad used to come with the meal but now it counts as your side dish. It's gotten past the point where it doesn't feel like you are getting your money's worth any more, especially considering they can't even pony up a few biscuits. read more

I ordered the crab lovers dream and it just wasn't good at all. It had no flavor and I had to put a ton of salt and pepper on the pasta. The crab also didn't have any flavor, was super dry, and there was barley any crab. You literally have to work soooo hard for the smallest pieces, even in the king crab which shouldn't be like this. Our server was also a mess. We were served our salads, she walked away and we had no forks. Took forever to get her attention for forks. When our crab legs were served we had to ask for crackers after she walked away again. Then my little brothers pasta meal was messed up so we were all eating while they had to remake his. Every once in a while, I will make an exception to my rule against reviewing chain restaurants. And every time I make that exception, it's because I received exceptional service. I'm not a stranger to Red Lobster. I love sea food and it's one of the avenues available to those of us who aren't on the coast every other weekend. And compared to other Red Lobsters I've visited, I prefer the Goodyear location because it's newer and cleaner. As soon as we arrived, the hostess Maritza made a great impression. She was smiling and sat my girlfriend and I right away. And the service continued with our server, Jarrett. He arrived quickly, took our drink order and explained the menu with his own flair. I've heard others describe the same menu with less enthusiasm. It sounds weird, but when someone sounds genuinely interested in what they're selling, it makes the dining experience more enjoyable. Which is why I always ask servers about their favorite menu items. Jarrett was busy with other tables while my girlfriend and I dined on drinks and appetizers mainly. He was always present when needed and did a wonderful job from beginning to end. Our meal started with great drinks, those always delicious biscuits, and continued with the coconut shrimp. I love the pina colada dipping sauce! But to wrap up the meal, the garlic roasted mussels were a little disappointing. Several of them, nearly 1/4 of them were not opened. Pity. I know if we mentioned it, they probably would've made some more, but we were stuffed. I brought a friend here who was visiting from out of town who wanted to go. We went during Crab Fest and I had the Dueling Crab legs. This is essentially king crab, dungeoness crab, and an ear of corn. It was fine and edible, but nothing to write home about. I found it to taste more like saltwater than actual crab. I visited this location twice in one week; both times I was unable to make it to the food part. On the first visit, we were seated and it took about 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and come to the table. Once the waiter arrived he told us the food items we wanted, we could not order because it was 8:20. Mind you, the restaurant closes at 9. So we left. Decided to give this another shot and arrived this time at 7:30. After being seated for about 15 minutes and no one coming to the table, my bf flagged down the hostess who said she would grab our waiter. After waiting a few minutes, the waitress finally came over and we realized this was the same waiter that walked by our table several times without even a simple "I'll be with you guys in a moment." Needless to say we left. Went next door to a different restaurant, and were seated, greeted, and served with 10 minutes of being there. Came with all the fixings and fresh. Coconut shrimp came with a pineapple dipping sauce that was a good compliment. I love Red Lobster and it's where my son took me for my 64th birthday. It was awful... $100 later. There were so many things wrong with the whole thing. Waiting 20 minutes to be sat after a reservation for 4 which we later found out wasn't honored because a server didn't show up. A whole section empty! Besides the calamari which was actually good, everything was slow and food didn't come out in order. Had to ask for the salad that eventually came out with the main course. The dinner wasn't very good. My granddaughters didn't even like their mac and cheese! Lobster, according to manager needed a steak knife to cut. We called ahead to see if there was a wait and there was non so we went, only to find a waitress who didn't know what was in the drinks and was very snippy and short with us. We ordered 2 triple berry sangrias and were still desiring on the food. The waitress came back with the wrong sangria drink and was rude. We came to the decision that we would pay for our drinks and leave. Needless to say this is the third time we have had poor service or the food was not up to Red Lobster standards. Redlobster needs to stop using COVID as an excuse for very poor customer service. We came in on a MONDAY at 7pm. Party of 4, and the wait was 50 minutes!!! No one was there!
