Red Lobster was chosen by a birthday boy in our group. I haven't been to one in a very long time but I was pleasantly surprised at all the changes on their menu. They had wide selection of healthy options. I opted for the Salmon Power bowl which came with lots of vegetables and grilled salmon. Salmon was little dry though. We also ordered their special, Mahi mahi which was very fresh and came with choice of two sides. Their steak and lobster dinner had good portion size; however, the steak was bit tough and lobster little dry. We ordered a large ($200) family meal for Mother's Day today, and the entire experience from start to finish was pathetic. How this place stays open blows my mind. We specific ordered it with a request for it to be ready at 4PM. When I got there at 3:45pm I was bounced around between 4 separate people trying to just find the order. After giving them a screenshot for the order the guy who finally helped still couldn't find it and had to ask someone to punch in the order number for him. By 4:30 they finally had the order, and by 4:45 it was brought to me. The contents of the two bags were cold, dry and looked like crap. I demanded that they remake the order, so they took the order back and brought me what I thought were two new bags. When we finally ate at 5:30 what greeted us in the packages was cold food that had been microwaved, one of the lobster orders was missing and the biscuits were soggy and disgusting. The chips and dip are a whole different joke, I don't know who microwaves chips but that's obviously not a good idea and the nasty yellow crust on the dip shows exactly how that turned out. The steak was exactly as you'd expect a microwaved steak to look, feel and taste like, and the one lobster we did get is so tough it may as well be a rubber toy. I complained to the general manager, who admitted that she's the one who pulled this BS microwave stunt, while being a rude PITA. How this woman is in charge of anything, let alone a damned restaurant, is beyond me. Food was good today. We had the pick two with shrimp scampi and coconut shrimp. Coconut shrimp tasted good, but We both felt like the scampi didn't taste as good though as it usually does. Seemed like they could've been overcooked/they seemed tough... Brussel sprouts were out of this world amazing. Some of the best be had in a long time, and I make roasted Brussels sprouts quite a bit. Basically the highlight of our lunch. We also ended with dessert-chocolate cake with ice-which was also very good. However, the reason for three stars is the lackluster service. Our waitress was nice enough, but we had very very long stretches between seeing her, and had a long wait before she first came to our table. I'm sure it's not her fault/she must be overloaded. I am not a seafood fan, but we went for my grandmothers birthday. The food was okay, nothing to write home about and far too expensive for not being very good. The service, was good and I think Trevor was an excellent server. He was very attentive and to his guests. The ambience is a typical of a seafood place. We asked for a water refill, and after over 10 minutes I went to the bar to get water. Meanwhile, neighboring tables with lemonade and soda got refills from her. This restaurant has a Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp to which I have been strangely addicted for decades. Sadly, they recently decided to "class it up" by leaving the formerly tail-less shrimp ... tailed. Annoying in a dish with many medium-sized shrimp. But ... their salads are crisp, their seafood properly cooked, their staff is quick and friendly, and their biscuits: Legendary! Cocktails are tasty, too. I drive quite a ways to eat here. read more

Last time I got take out, when I got home, they put the wrong slad in my bag, I wanted Caesar Salad for my side, and I got garden salad (red onions, orange cheese). I really love their Caesar Salad, sometimes Imake both the sides Caesar Salad. But Caesar Salad isn't so good that I would wanna drive 25 miles round trip to go back to the restaurant, for their mistake. I did call the manager and he wrote my name in a book, that they owe me a Caesar Salad. ido not go to that area often, but I have to write down the date this happened so they could find it in their book. I'm from the Pacific Northwest in Seattle and normally would go to the Red Lobster in Federal Way, WA however from March 4th through the 7th I was in Phoenix for Mariners spring training and touring the city but on the 5th and the 6th I ate dinner at the Red Lobster in Mesa, the server Celia H was sweet and wonderful to me! She gave me a warm and friendly smile when it was needed and it has resonated with me since then! One of my husband's favorite places to eat is Red Lobster. He loves the coconut shrimp and even though other places have it, they don't have the pina colada dip. This is where we decided to go for an anniversary lunch. Why is it that you have to ask for everything? First, we had to ask for sweet'n low for the ice tea. No sugar was on the table. We received the container of sugars with only one sweet'n low in the dish. We had to ask for more. We had to ask for ketchup. We had to ask for butter for the potato three times. Mine was served with sour cream and I don't do sour cream on a potato. However, my husband had to ask for more sour cream. We had to ask for extra pina colada. We had to ask for our check a couple times. The food was good thus the three stars. Otherwise, this would not have been pleasant at all. Oh, and we never did get refills on water or ice tea. Needless to say, the tip reflected it. So, with all of that said, we also know what we experienced is not the norm for Red Lobster as our granddaughter works at one but not in this area. read more

Service was good. I ordered the Petite Ultimate Feast as part of a early dining special. Not bad I must say but's still Red Lobster, meaning it's the fast food of seafood. Anyway, for $20 you get a smaller version of the Ultimate Feast, salad and those yummy biscuits! The one issue I have with Red Lobster, besides adding just a touch more seasoning to the crab legs, is they don't have bacon bits!! I love bacon bits on a baked potato, don't ya?! I enjoyed our meal. My wife got shrimp and steak. I didn't think the sirloin was great. Obviously cooked on a flat top. Salad was just ok. Not much healthy just a few tiny tomatoes and the ranch dressing was actually bad imo. The bread loved it. I got a crab fest and when it came out it smelled fishy and I said to myself this is going to be a problem but it was surprisingly good. All three crab types on point.
