My wife and I went to Red Lobster for her birthday tonight. It was so depressing. What was once a great restaurant with good food has become a more expensive shell of itself. We always order the same thing and this time it was considerably less food, less quality, but more expensive. I can understand raising prices with inflation and all, but the food was greasy, it took 15 minutes to get our drinks and it has just become another hack restaurant. More expensive and less food. I enjoyed our meal. My wife got shrimp and steak. I didn't think the sirloin was great. Obviously cooked on a flat top. Salad was just ok. Not much healthy just a few tiny tomatoes and the ranch dressing was actually bad imo. The bread loved it. I got a crab fest and when it came out it smelled fishy and I said to myself this is going to be a problem but it was surprisingly good. All three crab types on point. Baked potato fresh and flaky could have used some scallions but normally restaurant serve soggy potatoes so I'm giving them four stars plus extra for yummy diet Coke. Red lobster is one of my traditional spots to come for special occasions including Christmas Eve. I always go a couple times at the end of the year because my family knows I love it here and gifts me with gift cards. I always love to recommend the ultimate feast, but it is quite a bit of food. Hadn't been to this location in awhile, and never had any issues with food or our server either. Yesterday we went and tried their new Brussels sprouts appetizer because hey how can you mess these up? A little butter and garlic with salt and pepper sauté and ... delicious. But sadly no, our server brought out ours burnt and god bless her she really was sweet but you can look and smell that they weren't fit to eat. But I know she was doing her job. And the fact that we ordered them to add on as one of our sides too ‍. We paid extra for them and didn't even eat them because it was like chewing burned rubber.. just bad. My boys seafood feast, and salmon, lobster, and shrimp looked delicious but my seafarers was microwaved too long and scallops were cold in the middle. Mother's Day treat and it definitely did not disappoint. Our waiter Brian was fantastic with consistently gsve outstanding service and the meal was presented flawlessly. Started out with stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and they were awesome. Love the stuffing and crab meat and it was awesome with the gooey melted cheese as well. I had the 3 servings of shrimp which was fried shrimp, shrimp scampi and shrimp Alfredo. All of them gave a lot of shrimp which surprised me I guess and tasted awesome. The garlic and butter and a scampi was just enough without it being overly submerged in juices. Fried shrimps were ginormous and came with a wonderful cocktail sauce. Alfredo have the shrimps deveined and tsils taken off and the noodles were made to absolute perfection and I know I've used that word a lot here but it's true and it was a combination Family Feast type Meal which had all my senses going wow. I used to go to Red Lobster a lot when I was a child but I haven't been there in a long time and far as comparing it to Seafood you get on the coast like in Boston or Hartford or San Diego while the quality is obviously going to be better but for Restaurant Seafood it's a definite game-changer and worth a trip over. Then some dippy kid runs up and says well we have enough servers but not enough to help you. Legitimately saw no less than 15 open tables from the door. Horrible management. Went back a week later today. Did the priority wait list on open table for 7:30. Host said I was now added to the list but it would still be at least 45 minutes. When I asked what the point of the priority wait was , he said there really isn't one, we just add you to the list when you get here. I'll be complaining to open table as well. The food is- well, you know what you're getting yourself into.....it's the Applebee's of seafood. I'm not personally a big fried food/seafood type of person but it's the end of the holiday season and someone gave us a gift card. (The cocktails are fine though!) But this review is about Breanna!!! She goes by Bree and I loved her. Did everything right. Her personality is just right for that environment- never pushy, always attentive. Made sure she kept the water refilled on her own and suggested some good add ons. I could go on and on all day but you guys get the picture. I have never been to Red Lobster so I decided to try them out and it happened to be veterans day. I ordered Lobster Dip and chips, shrimp alfredo and salad and they gave me a complimentary Vanilla bean Cheesecake slice (Thanks!). All of these were ordered takeout and I am close by. The Lobster appetizer was delicious, The Shrimp alfredo was alright , and the Vanilla bean cheesecake was delicious and I highly recommend it. Very poor service and customer service. Came with my grandpa and brother for a nice dinner and we came on a Wednesday on a slow day. Our waitress took awhile to get our drink orders and then the drink themselves. My grandpa ordered his second beer and they refused to serve him accusing him of not being "sober enough". When I asked the manager the reason they were refusing to serve my grandpa he said he didn't need to and that they have the right to refuse. I have to say that I am completely disappointed because of my last visit here. When it's Lobster fest I like to go and get the Lobster Lover's Dream(?) plate. I was hesitant to go due to how high the price is now but my mom really wanted to go so I figured wth. I got the Lobster lover's plate and an ice tea. First of all there was very little ice and when our server refilled it none. Trying to get her attention was next to impossible so just drank it anyway. When my food came out it was cold. The rock Lobster tail was just that, hard and dry like a rock. So gross. The shrimp and Lobster linguini looked like it had been sitting out for a long time because the noodles were kind of hard. The Maine Lobster tail was cold but it was good. That and the biscuits were the best part of the whole thing. When I brought the rock Lobster tail to my servers attention she did get me another one. That one was really good. Our server had told us that the manager would be stopping by our table to talk to me. A bit later she tells us that he is running around and that she would tell him that she had taken care of us. I just kind of nodded because I didn't dare say anything more but that really irked me. For a tab of $84 plus tip he should have made himself available! I REALLY doubt that I'll be back. Such a shame as I've been going there for years. Started the night out with lobster, crab & seafood stuffed mushrooms, Lobster pizza and Sweet Chili Shrimp, now everything tasted great but I have to say my favorite of those where the Sweet Chili Shrimp, holy cow those are great! Stop ordering the coconut shrimp (don't worry I love those too) and get these Sweet Chili Shrimp. For the entrees, get ready for this, we tried: Lobster In Paradise, Ultimate Surf & Turf, Dueling Lobster Tails, Lobster Lovers Dream, Seaport Lobster & Shrimp, Bar Harbor Lobster Bake Everything was amazing! Lobster in Paradise is split Maine Lobster tail fried in coconut batter, spicy grilled shrimp & lobster & shrimp bake topped with toasted crushed macadamia nuts Ultimate Surf & Turf is a Maine lobster tail stuffed a crab stuffing & baked with a peppercorn grilled sirloin topped with Maine lobster meat in a citrus hollandaise sauce comes with mashed potatoes roasted tomatoes & green beans Dueling Lobster Tails are 2 Maine lobster tails, one topped with tender shrimp in a creamy garlic sauce and one stuffed with crab & seafood stuffing and comes with mashed potatoes, roasted tomatoes and green beans. Every time I come here I get the utmost BEST service. Shout out to Carlos who is an AMAZING human being. The bar top is clean and the take go ordering is not awkward and people are friendly. We come here at random times and not only do we get great service but people are nice every time. I love that it's 0.6 miles from my home I do not mind blowing 80$ on a great meal they honestly have Such great food When the ultimate Surf and Turf is in town I suggest ordering that. I hope they don't leave it seasonal I would love it year round. The place is clean. I have been sat next to a restroom and was apprehensive but I honestly can say I couldn't tell that I was near a bathroom do to the cleanliness. People are nice here and want to make money. I can respect that I Have no problem contributing. My very first red lobster experience in my entire 24 years of life has been a great one since this is my first time. Keep up the great work guys, I love this place and I'm loyal, I have been here For Father's Day and casual brunch or dinners with my SO. Terrible! I ordered curbside (from the restaurant vs online); 2 orders of popcorn shrimp both with baked potato & both with Caesar's salad instead of cole slaw and bush puppies. Plus I explicitly asked for extra tartar sauce along with the cocktail sauce. My order was ready curbside when promised and it came out in a tied up plastic bag. I asked the guy bringing it out "2 orders of popcorn shrimp with baked potatos for both and caesars salad AND several extra tartar sauces". He confirmed it was all there. I asked one more time, are you sure there are extra tartar sauce and he very clearly said yes. I gave him a nice tip for bringing out my order and confirming it was ALL correct. Got home and NO CAESARS SALAD and one tartar sauce for each meal!!! I did call and talk to "Mike" the manager and he offered to fully refund both meals but I did get mostly what I ordered so we agreed he'd refund half my bill. (Thanks). Cole slaw wasn't fit to eat and neither my wife or I ate the hush puppies. I gave my do the rest of my shrimp after my one small tarter sauce ran out. The chowder was nice but the salad was just sad (lettuce,3 croutons yes i counted them and some cheese). Our order was ready on time,the girl was friendly she gladly gave me some extra biscuits. I had the delightful pleasure of trying out the new Lobsterfest menu at the kick-off party. It was a night I'll never forget. Red Lobster put the show on! Plate after plate after plate of meals came out. I missed the part on the invitation that said, "Come ready to eat enough meals for the rest of your life." In the end the cheesy biscuits did me in. Gosh darn it! Complete Amateur Hour. If you've been to Red Lobster you are familiar with this breaded heavenly temptation. Unfolding napkins to the scent of bread is one thing. Slowly savoring the rich gooey cheese is...well...a moment you have to experience. I should have known better! The Short Review: + Good Food served in generous portions! + Funny welcoming staff + Kick butt drinks STARTERS Out came a plate of stuffed mushrooms (6 pieces), decadently overfilled with lobster, crab and seafood topped with Monterey Jack cheese and baked. If you can, take a peek at my photos. (This advice applies to all of the food I'm going to cover. Words will not suffice here. Seriously!) If you're looking for something with a kick the Sweet Chili Shrimp is for you! (12 pieces) It was for me. I absolutely loved the combination of light crunch and spice. It's not a hard crunch battered shrimp which is what I would have assumed if I was reading from the menu. Out came the Lobster Pizza. I was tempted into ordering the largest looking margarita in history. Grand Patrón Margarita served with a cute sidecar of Grand Marnier. As we were attempting to photograph the ginormous nature of this treasure I was photobombed by a South African. All of the staff on hand, front to back, were super cool. We had a rip roaring time. THE BAR Sitting at the bar, however brief our time was there, was neat. It's a big u-shape and central to the restaurant. If you have time to kill before your reservation there's ample seating. + TV! BACK TO THE FOOD Remember, we ate tons! I was tired. But I channelled my inner gym monologue often, "Suck it up Irene! Keep eating!" (Also, the staff sent us home with shopping bags of doggie bags of food. My +1 scored big time as he took my goodies home!) Dueling Lobster Tails. "Where do I start? Traditional roasted with creamy shrimp and garlic sauce? Or stuffed with crab and seafood? Which one will I like better? There's mash potatoes!" After pausing for a nano-sec. "- And string beans. Not going to waste any space on those!" Well, I did try the string beans because I felt guilty. Everything was wonderful. This meal is perfect for someone who isn't quite sure what they want. I had no idea there was still so much food to come. Bar Harbor Lobster Bake. A roasted split Maine lobster tail, tender shrimp, sea scallops, mussels and linguini in a garlic and white wine broth. My Martha Stewart wanna be instantly thought, "Hey. You could totally pick this up and pass it off as a creation of your own. Toss it in a nice bowl and maybe a fella will be sufficiently impressed by your "cooking" Irene." Hey. If I stock the right beer fridge men believe anything. The mussels were my favorite part in this. Of course everything was delicious. I adored the mussels. They were perfectly prepared and not overly done. If I time the pickup perfectly a future date will think I'm an excellent cook. (Shhh!) Lobster Lovers Dream. Butter makes the world go round. Two very different styles of lobster + alfredo pasta. The food was good. But it was a long wait, no one came to the table for 10 minutes. Then we ordered, and the salads (which are now an extra charge) came out fast, but the appetizers were a no-show. We ignored this, and a loooong time later, we got food. Service was very slow, our waiter was doubling as the bar tender for some reason. No wonder he forgot stuff. Again, the food was good but the service was not. Also the table had not been bussed when they sat our group (the hostess removed a used napkin but did not wipe the table) and so it had old dried food on it. Yuck. read more

Nice location, wasn't busy when me and my daughters got there.... We love the cheddar biscuits and I love the Bahama mama drink! The hubby isn't a fan so he didn't eat but, he's driving so I get to drink lol. Waitress was pleasant always checking on us, the kids enjoyed looking at the fresh lobster. I know things have gotten harder during Covid and 2020 has hit us all hard, especially restaurants. That being said we are trying hard to support businesses by taking the family out to eat occasionally. Most places are providing exceptional service and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Customers are valued but maybe less so at big franchises. We have frequented Red Lobster MANY times, this restaurant in particular. While the service was ok, I have to say we were quite disappointed by the seriously smaller portions that we were served last night. I understand a smaller menu but when ordering crab legs we only received 3 scrawny legs on a cluster and very small lobster tails. It's like they aren't even trying. Just left the Red Lobster on Alma School Rd in Mesa while we were In town for an event. From the beginning the waiter, Matt, seemed very disinterested in being there. We ordered drinks and our food and one of the items We ordered was the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. All of the other food came out and it was shrimp on the fettuccine Alfredo Which my daughter can't eat so we had it sent back. Twice we had to ask the waiter regarding getting a new order, the Manager even came Over and swore it was at the top of the list. The food never came, the manager never came back To check on us and then the waiter even asked if we wanted to order dessert and we had to Remind him we were still waiting for her pasta which he commented "well Do you just want a to go box?" 7/24/16 - PARTY OF 35+. Came here to eat in honor and memory of my late Grandpa. We had a waiter and a waitress. They did a stellar job. Communicated with us and each other very well. Made sure everyone was satisfied, kept us filled on drinks. The food was top notch and evenly distributed with the appetizers. Service was just fantastic and there were absolutely no complaints. They definitely earned their tip today. They were literally back and forth for the duration we were there. I ordered the Salmon New Orleans. Very rarely do I order fish, but I'm glad I did, because it was delicious to the last bite. Based on my experience last night I would give this particular red lobster a 0 star, but unfortunately I have to give a 1 star review. When we were seated I told our server that I am allergic to fruit. Later on when he brought our food out my plate had 2 lemon slices and I told him I'm severely allergic to lemons. He just said "oh I'm sorry" and left. A bit later my throat starts closing and I can't breathe or talk. We asked for the check and was asked if anything was wrong and my date said that I'm having an allergic reaction to the lemons and we need to leave. The manager comes over to us and treated us like we were scum trying to get free food. I am not happy with the service and I want the servers to keep track of their customers who mention they have food allergies so that way we don't die while in their restaurant. read more
