I am red lobster person. One of those people who have been celebrating every major milestone with them since the 90's. There was a hair in the cocktail sauce. a hair that was just hanging off my food, after I dipped it in cocktail sauce. I wouldn't expect this from any restaurant let alone one where I pay $25 a plate average. And when it was discovered their was no shock or empathy for the fact I had been eating food that had been sharing a space with a stranger's hair. Am I wrong for feeling this warranted a bit more than... what dish did that sauce come with? This red lobster is trash and ghetto. Try staying a new tradition. read more

Wow so disappointing cold snow crab and indifference by the manager. 32.99 for the plate and this is as good as it gets. Site glad the restaurant responded. The link doesn't work so no way to respond. The problem with this was the lack of concern. The restaurant was 15-20% of capacity the waitress bailed on us after food arrived. No where to be found. I asked another waiter to help and he said he would find her. After 5 min I asked a second waitress if she could get the manager or my waitress. When the manager came out her response wasn't wow so sorry it was transactional let me take care of it. Then 10 minutes then cold crab legs replaced. Not another word about it from anyone. So if this is as good as it gets at 16-20% capacity this place is in trouble. Someone go train the staff. read more

We Decided to have dinner here tonight! It was about a 30 minute wait so we decided to wait and then the manager was nice enough to sit us at the bar since it was past our 30 minute wait time.... so we sat at the bar and Kayla took great care of us. Amazing service was given while she was knocking out those drinks super fast, the food was amazing. I had the Lobster Lovers dream. As my side I chose a Cesar salad & the lobster mashed potatoes... the kitchen was a little to excessive with the shaved Parmesan on my salad but aside from that everything was great! Guest experience is very important, tonight Kayla and the manager on duty (didn't get her name) provided our experience to be amazing. We will be back :) side note : Covid Precautions are taken care of, social distancing at the bar was the best I've witnessed so far in tucson. I was very reluctant to go here, but I relented at the promise of free food. I'm all about free food. Part of my aversion has to do with the fact that I don't really eat a lot of seafood. Whenever I do, it must be fresh, without a hint of fishiness. Since Red Lobster is a chain restaurant, I feared that it would reek of fishy smells, and have fishy customer service to boot. I was dead wrong, as I found myself at a pretty solid chain restaurant devoid of the fishiness I've come to expect from places that primarily serve seafood. Part of that has to do with the service. Bradley was one of the best servers I have ever had anywhere, He is extremely professional, courteous, and even though my 2 visits were a month apart, he remembered my drink preferences. The general manager of the restaurant is very nice too, she is always willing to help out when needed, and whenever she can, makes sure to greet you when you enter and exit. As for the food, it is mediocre. My friend and I come here on Thursdays because of the specials, which includes the Petite Ultimate Feast, which comes with popcorn shrimp, lobster tails, and more, at the low price of $20. The last time we came here, I opted for the pick 4, which included a clam chowder, steak, and dessert, along with the entree. Although I wouldn't exactly say that everything tastes like it's freshly made, it was better than expected. not to mention, the fact that served within a good amount of time, cooked well, and very filling. Bleh. I'm not sure why Red Lobster always sounds good to me, because I never feel like it's money well spent. We went in on New Year's Day, and it was relatively quiet, but we still had to wait a few minutes. No biggie, it looked like they only had one or two servers on the floor. Ashley waited on us, and she was great, answered questions and was very friendly. The food is never that great and is overpriced though. I got the Wednesday special, which was the four-course feast for $15. Salad was fresh, and the clam chowder was decent, but I selected coconut shrimp and was disappointed. As far as chain restaurants go, believe it or not, Outback has much better coconut shrimp. You get a small brownie with ice cream too, and it was okay. My husband got one of their feasts where you can select from several options. He got Walt's Favorite shrimp, which he loves, and he said his lobster tail was good, but he also ordered a sirloin and said it was awful. I tried a bite of it, and he was correct. It had no flavor and was really chewy. Again, our server was really nice, and she packaged up our leftovers nicely, but I just can't say much for Red Lobster. My meal was relatively inexpensive, but I think my husband's was well over $30. Much better food out there for that price. read more

This Red Lobster was probably the best I've had in both service and food taste. I had the Ultimate Feast with Brussels sprouts. All seafood was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The biscuits were served hot and delicious. Our server was amazing also and very in the spot with tending to our table. I highly recommend this spot if you love seafood. RAW SEWAGE, 1 HOUR WAIT, FOOD SICKNESS... Need I say more? The good... 1. FAMILY - We got to hang out with our family and celebrate my father-in-law's birthday together. See pic! 2. STAFF - The staff was very kind and accommodating and worked well in their poorly-managed situations. The bad... 1. LONG WAIT - Group of 9 waited almost an hour to be seated even though we showed up at 3 p.m. on a Sunday. 2. NO BIG GROUPS - Only enough tables & servers to accommodate one group with more than 8 people. 3. NO CALL AHEAD - also no reservations even for large groups. The manager mentioned that another location offers call ahead and that he usually sends people there when they need reservations. 4. NO BISCUITS - weren't ready until 20 minutes after we were seated. 5. NO WOMENS RESTROOM - it was out of order, the poor hostess was allowing women into the mens restroom and standing guard outside the door. 6. NO DISHES - the drinks were taking a long time and the waitress told us she was waiting on dishes because the kitchen ran out. 7. NO STAFF - time may have seemed slower because we were all so hungry by the time when we sat down but it seemed like each time the waitress left she didn't come back for at least 15 minutes. It looked as if they were only 2-3 servers for the entire. 8. NO URGENCY - We arrived at 3:10 p.m. and didn't leave until 6:35pm. 9. MEDIOCRE FOOD - wasn't expecting 5 star, but also wasn't expecting such low quality food. The Ugly... 1. RAW SEWAGE - pouring from the Red Lobster building into the parking lot, then onto the street. WE HAD TO WALK THOUGH RAW SEWAGE TO GET INTO OUR CAR!! See pic.. 2. POOR MNGT - When we reported the sewage leak, "Restaurant Manager," Brad came out to take a look but was quickly distracted a friend who stopped by to show off his new Mustang. After reading the Trish C. review posted 8/22/13, I now realize what was wrong with the fish and shrimp we ordered and why we both didn't feel good afterwards. I agree with Trish in that the oil used for frying was well past time for a change. It must have been dirty and burnt just like she said; good catch Trish (no pun intended)! It makes sense now why the breading was so dark and heavy; it was soaked with dirty oil from the fryer. Do the Health Inspections look at the oil in the fryers? Regardless, management is asleep in the pilot house! Watch out for another Valdez spill. Dropping a star for giving us indigestion that could have been prevented. read more

My God... where to begin. We went in today (wednesday the 25th) for dinner and let me tell you we were greeted within a minute of walking in by the manager who showed us to our table. Our server was attentative and quick to greet us and provide us with our drinks and appetizers surprisingly fast. I would provide names but I'm terrible with names I'm sorry for that but lets continue... What really struck me, besides the amazing service already being provided, was how amazing the food was. It was delicious, my sirloin was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I'm not kidding when I say I was surpised after every single bite I took, it was like waves of delicious flavors just coming and coming. I wish I had taken pictures but once I started eating, I just didnt want to stop haha. It was soo delicious and this is coming from a very picky eater and a former chef. Whoever the cook was, all I know is that it was a female since my server referred to her as a "she", well she was just amazing. I didnt see the manager in sight after she sat us so maybe it was her.. but regardless of who she was she deserves a raise and I'm sorry I couldnt leave a tip for her. I tried getting cash back and I was told by the bartender that cashback wasn't available. And although I really wanted to go back to tip her, I had my kids with me and I had to take them to bed. So i came here to tell you guys about her. Thank you for an amazing exquisite meal and an amazing way to end our night. My mom, kids and I thank you very much. I ordered delivery through yelp and grub hub. 1.5 hours later I still had no food. I called Red Lobster and asked them the status of my order and they said it left quite a while ago. I said well I never got it and with out me asking and without hesitation the woman on the phone said she would get another order for me going and bring it to me herself!!! Now be advised I was neither yelling or blaming her or the restaurant for me not having my food, I was being polite and respectful. She apologized for something that wasn't her fault. About 15 minutes later she showed up with my food, no mistakes, everything I ordered and as good as always. The woman who went way above and beyond her duties was Chrys Kotzambasis, the restaurant manager. She called the other restaurant and had my order made for me and I was out the door really fast...and my coconut shrimp was amazing! Arrived here after a bit of nostalgia about how trips to Red Lobster was a sign of luxury to a middle-class child in the 90's. As adults, the biscuits taste EXACTLY the same (yum!). My dungeness crab plate was awesome. The crab was easy to crack and was more than enough for me. I was really satisfied. My boyfriend's lobster bake was disappointing. In addition to not looking anything like the photo, it was also not an impressive portion. Prices averaged to about $23 a plate. We hadn't been to Red Lobster in many years, so when Partner had a bee in his his bonnet to have Dueling Lobsters, off we went. We expected to wait because it was peak time (7:00, Saturday night), and we did, at the bar for about 20 minutes. The bar and restaurant are much nicer than I remembered, and the lobster tank is way less obtrusive. Thankfully. Our server was Kellen, who was terrific. He gave Good recommendations, delivered our food in a timely manner, and pretty perfect timing. We ordered shrimp lettuce wraps as appetizer which were really good. It's for at least two people or for one VERY hungry person. We ate every bit of the shrimp and most of the lettuce. For dinner, we ordered Dueling Lobsters and Coconut Shrimp with fries, and both came with large salads, and of course the cheddar biscuits. The food quality was good, just not exceptional. The Colada Dip with the shrimp was different, in a good way. We couldn't finish the lobster because it was rich with the added shrimp (31-40, I think) and the creamy sauce on top. Lobsterfest is my favorite time. Lobster with anything. We both got the 4 course special. It included salad, soup, entree, and dessert. For the entree we had the upgraded steak and we added a roasted Maine lobster tails. The steaks were done right and were tender and juicy. The broccoli side was Green and crunchy, very fresh. The new Bourbon sweet potato side is incredible. I need that recipe. Our server was very attentive and saw to our needs. Me and my six wives decided to go to red lobster for unlimited shrimp, we were excited to get a BANG for our buck. The live lobsters in the entry way really got us in the mood, as well as the graveyard at 2am ambience. The servers and cooks and busboys were lively and attentive, although they didn't seem to care about how we all ventured into the bathroom together, which was a huge plus for us. The bathrooms were so clean!!! The tasty garlic and lemon aroma made the perfect setting for our anniversary. I would definitely recommend red lobster. read more

I use to not be a fan of Red Lobster. I avoided going here for years. Just recently I moved extremely close to them and thought I'll give it a try. Our waitress Joni was phenomenal. She was sweet, funny and made sure everything was perfect during our dinner. We ordered 1.5 pounds of snow crab and mussels. The mussels were cooked perfectly and the sauce was amazing.. The bread that comes with it, is perfect when dipped in the sauce. On the down side. the snow crab was over cooked. Several of the legs were extremely dry and I had to toss them aside. Overall our bill came out to about $40. A bit over prices for what we ended up getting..but Joni made it up with her great customer service. read more

I ordered food on 04/09 to pick up. I waited for 7 minutes on hold before I was able to place the order. The phone was picked up 3 different times during the wait and then went silent. When I was finally able to place my order the initial question I had asked needed to be repeated before I was able to place the order with Lily. When I arrived on time, I was told my order was almost up and I proceeded to pay the cost. Lily came out a few minutes later and told me that she was sorry, my order had been completed, but she had packed it away with another customer's order and it was no longer available. She explained that they could make me another order and when I asked I was told it would be another 15 minutes. Considering the time of day, etc. I decided to place the order again. Lily then said to me she was going to get the manager and have her comp my meal. She came back with manager, an older blonde woman who had her glasses atop her head, and I thought she comped my meal for me. At NO time did the manager look at me, apologize to me or ask me anything about the confusion. It was also obvious the manager did not understand the explanation given and there were a lot of back and forth as to why the mistake had happened and an additional meal had been entered into the system. Lily went back to check on the meal and the manager came out again and at that time asked if I wanted a desert and I refused it. Lily then came out and had my food and asked if I wanted a desert and I repeated I did not. I was given my food and when I got home the quality of the preparedness was not what it would have been if it had not been rushed. It gave me a little comfort knowing that the meal was comped. I checked my bank statement today and I had in fact been charged for the meal and to add insult to injury they had kept the tip!!! This is very upsetting to me because at no time was it explained to me that I would not be comped for their egregious mistake. Having been told that would have had an entirely different outcome for me. As it stands now, the lack of professionalism is glaring and even more so for the manager who NEVER once spoke with me on what had happened. My husband and I stopped at Red Lobster for dinner tonight. We were seated right away. Drink orders were taken. My husband's Coke and my ice tea were brought to us shortly after we ordered and so was his whiskey. We both ordered a cup of Lobster bisque. We both ordered starters for our dinner. Bacon wrapped scallops for him and I ordered the stuffed mushrooms. The biscuits were heavy and very dry. The bisque was very salty and the crackers were stale. After waiting over 40 minutes for our dinner we left. It will be a long time before we go to Red Lobster again. They were not that busy either. read more
