First, I would suggest sitting at the bar (ideally on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon), with bartender Matthew. Not only can he pour one hell of a drink, but he's very nice and entertaining. Probably a better server than someone in the dining room, as well. Anyway, I loves me some seafood, so I've tried many many items from the menu. Lobster, crab, shrimp...all good. It was Sunday around noon. We ordered soup and salad to start and were without silverware .. waitress was not be be found so I had to get up and take some from the bar. The food was ehh. My broccoli was watery as hell and hard as a rock, mashed potatoes dry and flavorless. I reached the restaurant still I was on hold and told my wife just don't hang up I want to see how busy this place is. So I entered the restaurant and see waiters and bar tender chit chatting and I am still on hold. I still placed the order just because my daughter loves Red Lobster. After placing order we want outside and hanged out. We were told 20 minutes. After 30 MINUTES we went inside the restaurant and still our food is not ready. I had to wait total of 50 minutes to pick this order. Order had to be picked up at the bar but the guy working at the bar looked like he was forced to work. No hi and Hello No thanks and bye. My husband and I go to this restaurant all the time. So we went again last night... but this my husband was quite disappointed with his meal. He ordered the smaller seafood bake with the baby lobsters (not cheap at $28.99) and it was terrible!! The lobster was not baked evenly with some portions raw and some cooked fine, it was tasteless.. he kept adding salt and pepper to try to give it some flavor; the corn on the cob looked and tasted old, the condensation in the food containers had dripped onto the food so on top of the food issues you have this water on everything. Our bill come to just short of $80 for 2 people.. not a cheap meal, especially when this was all food as my husband and I don't drink alcohol. As I mentioned we come here all the time, but after this meal... my husband was so disappointed that I think it's off our radar for future visits. We had bad experience here by the receptionist. We went there for lunch and being told to wait for 25 mins which was acceptable. But after 30 mins our table still not ready while the new comers already being served. We asked the receptionist for our table and turned out that she forgot to call our name and claimed that our name not even in the list. After she found out that we were really on the list, she only said sorry without looking to our eyes and have us wait for another 10 more minutes. We felt really bad that the woman was careless and has no sympathy for service. This has ruin our beautiful Sunday. However, the food was great and our server name Jordan is really attentive. I think the manager should consider more before putting this kind of people up front to deal with the customer since first impression is really important for every business and this receptionist do not deserve to be there with this kind of attitude. read more

It's been about five years since the last time I was here. I remember I had that feeling of regret, but my kids enjoyed it, and thats all that counted...then. Well I decided to give it another chance. This time with just the wife. As soon as we walk in we see a deserted bar. At 5pm, it wasn't a good sign. We were told it would be a ten minute wait. I looked around at the empty bar and sighed. Before we could sit down in the lounge our table was ready. After being served the cheesy biscuits (which weren't as good as I remembered them to be) my wife orders the stuffed sole and scallops and I order one of their Lobsterfest specials. As we were eating my meal I realized why it had been five years since my last visit. Everything was mediocre! Extremely bland! Now I realize everything is frozen, but do you have to keep it in your freezer for 3 months before you cook it? Service was good, though, and brings the rating up from 1 to 2 stars. Okay good food but have a few complaints. Went there yesterday around 4 and it was pretty dead. My boyfriend and I got seated at a table (even though there was several booths available). I didn't bug to get one like I usually do because we had a whole little alcove to ourselves. Minutes later they sat a party of 12 next to us. That kinda rubbed me the wrong way because the restaurant was so dead. I should have asked for a booth to begin with! Our order was taken promptly and our appetizer and salads sent out quickly after that. Salad was good, nothing special. We ordered the seafood stuffed mushrooms which were very tasty. The mushrooms were super small so it was more like seafood covered mushrooms but good anyway. I ordered the wood grilled parmesan butter shrimp. It was okay but the "butter sauce" had time to cool so it was coagulated and not like it looked on the picture. It looked more like a gravy. It was served with rice, tasted like I could make it out of a box. Luckily I like rice a roni :P Overall it was an okay meal. What made it was my company not the food. This was my first time eating at a Red Lobster, and my first thought after eating those darn cheddar biscuits was resentment for having been deprived of those delicious things for so long! I remember reading on Yahoo one time how those biscuits are one of the unhealthiest "free breads" you get at a restaurant, but who cares -- I always affiliate deliciousness with extra calories anyways :) It was a Saturday night and I was in a happy party of 8. We had one waiter who took REALLY good care of us, and another waiter who came by and refilled our drinks every so often. The waiter who was with us for the most part suggested really good appetizers (coconut shrimp and some lobster dip thing with chips, don't remember the name of that), was very patient with us, and kept bringing out baskets of cheddar biscuits! Nom nom nom :) My dish, I don't even know what it was that I ordered, but it had a whole bunch of shrimp and some linguine with alfredo and shrimp. I can't complain! Everything was delicious, I ate a good part of my friend's steak that was nicely cooked, and my aunt packed some cheedar biscuits to go! My younger sister ordered some chocolate chip cookie dessert thing, *_* I'll take that over BJ's pizookie any day! And a shout out to the Gospel lady that sang Happy Birthday to my mom! I gave three stars only because the wait staff is awesome and two out of three meals were good. The bar drink was an extremely weak pour. We went to this place years ago and since we wanted to try it again, we decided to give it a go. I have to say that the service was great. It is just a couple of months after covid reopening I was super surprised at how absolutely filthy it was. This is the reason I didn't go back after years. It looks like the exact same a decade later. The seats themselves are filthy in the waiting room (like, gross. A wipe down is needed) and our plates and silverware were actually dirty as well. My husband got a steak and it was good, my son got a hamburger and he liked it, but, I ordered fish and chips and it was a rubbery with no flavor. I just didn't finish it. I was kind of bummed. But I chalked it up to just being me. It was really too rubbery, like it been frozen for a long time. I think I was so grossed out by how dirty the whole place was. Especially, since this is the age of covid. My husband said don't go into the bathrooms it was gross. For him to say that it's got to be bad he works in Downtown LA. LOL I do want to say though that our waiter was awesome and the staff was very efficient and fast. So, it definitely not the wait staff, but I was seriously worried about our health and safety. I visited this lobster after having been craving it for a while and with high hopes only to be severely let down. So I placed an order yesterday around 8:30pm which I didn't think was too late considering they close at 10pm. Anyways I place a $60+ order and arrive for pickup in the designated parking spots around 9pm and message them that I was here per their curbside pickup request. So I immediately get a response saying that my food will be out shortly, well shortly must mean 15+ minutes because that's how long I waited. I waited 15+ minutes in my car until I decided 15 minutes was too long and decided to call the restaurant and ask what is going on. As I'm on hold with an employee about my order, another employee randomly pops up in front of my door and scares me with my order in his hand. I ask him frustratedly why I have been sitting here for 15 minutes to which he just apologizes, I ask him how long my food had just been sitting there and of course he doesn't even know because " he just got back ". I was starving so I just took it as is even though I should've sent it back and got it remade because of how cold it was when I finally ate it. The employee also tries to hand me a drink which made me question if this was even my order as I didn't even order a drink. I again frustratedly asked the employee if this was even my order and he stayed there as I check the bag because clearly they were not organized nor knew what food they were handing out. I quickly check it as I don't even know how the food is suppose to look or arrive so I assume everything's there and leave. Luckily everything I ordered was there. Cold but it was there. I don't know what was going on last night but I sure hope this doesn't happen daily. Anyways will not come back to this location again, do not recommend this place at all. Craving sea food. Some friends and I decided to go to red lobster. I mean Hey! Endless Shrimp, why not?! Unfortunately this was an aweful experience. While we had a party of seven, the wait for food was so so long. My friend and I both being shrimp lovers, ordered the endless shrimp so we could just keep it coming so to speak. Upon finishing our first entree of shrimp we ordered a second serving each. To our dismay it took an additional 30 minutes for the second serving to arrive, and to our Surprise it was just ONE serving for my friend. We politely reminded our server that we asked for 2 as we BOTH ordered the endless shrimp. While awaiting my second order to come out, we decided to ask for our 3rd serving as my buddy was almost finished and I was STILL waiting for my second serving of endless shrimp. Hoping we could time it right and get my 2nd and both of our 3rd serving of shrimp together since it was taking so long to be made, and ANOTHER 30 minutes go by and yet AGAIN only ONE serving of shrimp came out. If i knew it was going to be such a problem to get a second serving I would have ordered something different. Good luck at this place. At least we got a military discount, but I will not be recommending this restaraunt to any of my fellow veterans. read more

well this was our first time to Red Lobster in a loooong time! my parents came here a while back but said they would never come back because of how bad the place smelled of fish we decided to take another chance because we had a gift card and it didn't smell at all which was great! today we ordered: lobster+crab stuffed mushrooms appetizer: delicious, hot, oozing mushrooms full of crab and lobster really great stuff corn+crab chowder: this was okay, just corn chowder with chunks of crab but it wasn't bad 30 shrimp special with breaded and scampi flavors w/ side of caesar salad: for $12 this was an incredible deal! the scampi was delicious, garlicky, and saucy, and the breaded was crunchy and great creole salmon + shrimp w/ coleslaw and side caesar salad: th sauce was great in this, could taste the Louisiana flavor, salmon was flavorful, juicy, and great and the shrimp was cooked perfect. great plate the salads were no big deal just caesar salad! all this food was great and better than we had expected and will definitely come back! read more

This is the closest Red Lobster to my house and I don't mind driving up here for their oh-so-awesome biscuits! We went on Saturday for an early Mother's Day late lunch. It wasn't as busy as I thought it would be, thank goodness! The only thing I disliked was the hostess, she was so short with the customers and boring. No smile, no sense of humor, NADA. Hostess are very important they represent the establishment and it is vital that they have an outstanding personality, which this one didn't. ..that is the only reason I'm removing a star. The wait wasn't too bad, I also notice that we always have to wait even if they have an empty dining room, beats me. The escort was a sweet heart the waitress was attentive and nice. Our food came out very fast and was very delicious! I had the Chicken Cajun pasta....to-die-for... I took most of it home, because I had a salad and a soup before it so I was already stuffed. I settled for the Seafood Shrimp Trio, and my friend opted for the "create your own feast" for $17.99. It came with soup, coleslaw/salad, an entree (he ordered the shrimp and scallop Alfredo), and dessert (CARAMEL CHEESECAKE!). The food came pretty quickly, and it was delicious! I'm a huge fan of any Alfredo pasta and my meal was more than satisfactory. Our waiter checked in on us pretty often - he received a fat tip btw! You can't ever go wrong at this Red Lobster. The locations is conveniently located off the 5fwy and for a Saturday afternoon it was not busy at all.
