December 27, 2013. A group of 9 of us got to the restaurant just after 9pm on a Friday night. It was getting quiet so not a lot of other people there. The seating was prompt and the server was polite, courteous and a reasonably attentive. By the time we got done it was 11pm. Not sure why it took as long as it did but not a big issue. Wife and I had their 4 course meal for $16.99 plus ice tea and diet coke. The portions were small on the soup and reasonable on the salad. A bit spotty on the biscuits running out. The entree's were small portions and we took the desert to-go. The food itself was ok but nothing special. Our bill (with 18% gratuity included) came out to $50 so $25 each. The bottom line question is whether dinner was worth $25 each (no alcohol). The answer was no. read more

Made the mistake of eating here tonight. I've never had such a bad experience at Red Robin before this was bad. First the wait for a table was ridiculously long for a place that wasn't even that busy. Thirty minutes after we ordered our food it was brought out cold and I had to ask for a new order. To make matters worse, after I sent my food back because it was cold, we heard the cook and an employee swearing at us (since we were seated by the kitchen. If there is no star rating I will give them a none star. This place is terrible and going downhill. They hired a waitress who is uneducated, unprofessional and not polite. If you don't know how to fight with them you will definitely lose. As people who have no cellular phone or data service know this restaurant is exceptionally odd that at this new age they don't have wifi. Today I brought an email in showing the waitress that I had a reward from Red Lobster that provides me a free appetizer and I wish to utilize the reward. She said the email does not count they only trust the app on the phone. She wanted me to login to the app and show her the reward. I responded I do not have cell phone with data how can I log in. She answered as follows: if you cannot show me you have a reward on your phone then you cannot use the reward. Believe or not, if you don't use the reward quick after you get the reward the reward will suddenly disappear on your app and if you had accidentally deleted the reward email then you have no cure. Believe or not this is the third time I was treated like this. Do they have to cheat millions of people in order to survive ??? Bad reputation indeed !!! read more

Went here for my moms bday cause she likes this place walked in to be seated waited a little bit saw a lady that works there she saw us waiting to be seated didnt acknowledge us so I cough loud to make her notice us she looks at us as we're you know still standing waiting to be sat she looks at us and continues to talk to her coworker for like 6 more minutes. Its been a long time since visiting a Red Lobster. Seafood is never really my first choice but RL has a variety of non seafood items on their menu. The Cajun chicken linguine was really good. Soup and salad were a part of the deal and were good as well. Hot creamy potato soup and a fresh and cool salad were served side by side and could have been dinner on its own. Want to mention the cranberry tea, very good, something different that was just what I've been craving! The best part, however, was the excellent and attentive service. Consistently great seafood restaurant. Our server Carly was great, knowledgeable and honest on menu for different palettes (if you like this, or not like ). She was spot on, and the food was hot and accurate and delicious. The seafood feast and the salmon was amazing with the shrimp. Great comfortable environment, with good ambiance, and attentive service. This is a great place to go for a date night out and seafood in mind. I have to say Red Lobster is just a poor excuse for seafood. So many better places to eat. The last time I went there was because we had been given a gift card. It would have been a 3 star meal except that when you get served uncooked fish. I love sushi, but that's not what I ordered. So let me just begin by saying, "what amazing service!" We came here during lunch hour after my husband's retirement ceremony to celebrate. He orders a beer and I, a wine. The waitress asks for I.D. I then feel compelled to inform her that this man sitting next to me just retired after twenty years of service. She makes a kind remark about hoe young we both looked and then takes our orders. Next thing I know, a lovely complimentary sample of appetizers are brought to our table and a manager comes over to personally thank us for his service! Prior to this, our waitress noticed we appeared to be a bit cramped even for four sitting at our table and comes and extends the tattle leaves so we would have more elbow space. I felt like the whole restaurant shut down to cater to us! I am just pleased that Red Lobster made an occasion such as this memorable and even more special by honoring my husband also. I use to go there a lot! Every time i got the same dish snow crab legs with coconut shrimp! Delicious, the crab is always perfect with lots of meat on the legs. So we have a crazy weird fetish for the RL Bistro. We call it the RL Bistro to fancy it up. Red Lobster is Red Lobster. The menus are the same all over and it is not your local, organic, gluten free, antibiotic free, free range, local farm raised type food establishment. But it does put you in touch with what the rest of America eats. This location is by far the best in the PDX/Vantucky area. We love coming up for Lobsterfest and Crabfest. But how can you turn your nose to the biscuits? We have been here twice with our best friends who have the same fetish we do for the RL Bistro. We have had Stephanie as our server each time. She is fantastic at her job. She knows her stuff and makes your visit a lot of fun. She is an asset to the RL Bistro. I know what you're thinking. It's a national chain. The butt of many a joke. Michael Scott might think Red Lobster is the epitome of fine dining and trendiness, but this is the Pacific Northwest. Fresh chinook, kumamoto oysters, and Dungeness crab are about as abundant as drive-up coffee kiosks or bearded hipsters (or drive-up coffee kiosks staffed by bearded hipsters). Why would anybody choose Red Lobster? For starters, there are the Cheddar Bay biscuits. Oh, those biscuits. Introduced in the early 90s,they are now RL's best known and most popular menu item, and rightfully so. They are delicious. And while the seafood won't win any awards for originality or creative presentation, it is predictably good. Years ago their dishes left much to be desired - I remember a particularly unpleasant salmon experience once upon a time - but the food quality has gone up a notch in recent years. Unfortunately, so have the prices. I prefer a more home-grown experience at McGrath's Fish House, for instance. Emphasis there on locally sourced seafood and decent prices. But I digress. Red Lobster won't disappoint, but it will not overwhelm, either. I do like the fact that their Lighthouse menu has several healthy choices for people (counting their carbs/watching their calories/limiting their fat). On my most recent visit I opted for the parmesan crusted tilapia, and it was quite good. My server was more than happy to substitute a second vegetable when I didn't want the accompanying starch. I chose a garden salad with blueberry balsamic dressing, and that was probably the star of the show. My dining companion loved the lobster bisque but found the stuffed mushrooms lacking in flavor. And so it goes. The mall location has been around for quite a while and is overall pretty clean and appealing. Service was quick and efficient, and the servers pleasant. I guess if you've gotta go with a restaurant chain, there are worse choices out there. But if you're in the mood for good seafood, there are better choices, as well. read more

Haven't been here in awhile, was excited to come try it again. Kind of disappointing. My baked potato only came with butter, I expected the whole enchilada, bacon cheese chives and butter. My shrimp pasta was pretty thick and not too enjoyable. My other two shrimps were as good as before which was a plus. Overall I don't think I would want to choose here for dinner if I had to choose. My boyfriend and I went here for lunch on my birthday and the food was great drinks were amazing so why only the 3 stars? Our waitress was so incredibly rude! My boyfriend and I are younger and I'm guessing that's why she treated us so badly we put in our order and we asked specifically if we could get our biscuits out as soon possibly we hadn't eaten all day she said of course and then we didn't see her until 20 minutes later there was only 3 other tables in her section and we ended up asking a different waitress for our biscuits because our waitress was no where to be found she comes out about 5 minutes later with our salads and we she dropped off our food she snapped "I told you they were on the way!" I asked her if we could get another basket on the way because I knew they would be gone by the time she got back and then says something along the lines of " yeah yeah I know." I was just shocked when we got our bill we left her cash no change back and she was taking a tables order and she acted like we were going to dine and dash she literally ran over to our table and said something very condescending I can't remember what she said but at this point I felt so disrespected by her and on my birthday lunch it really put a damper on my day and I've had nothing but good experiences at this location in the past and love this place but how my boyfriend and I were treated it was really heartbreaking read more

If I could give no stars I would. Food is horrible, drinks are horrible. I ordered a sea food pasta dish and it pretty much looked like soup. The pasta was drenched in oil. The lobster was beyond chewy and salty. My wife ordered a steak that looked alright. But it was so thick that the inside was not cooked medium rare. The drinks were absolutely terrible. I thought I was at a daddy day care sipping on pure grenadine with apple juice. Alcohol was far from it. Would not recommend coming here to Pay 20+ dollars on a plate and expect to get what your promised. read more

The service. For a chain restaurant , this service was amazing. Our server was a woman who was not a teenager. Our party arrived in two shifts, and the staff was careful to put us together. The server approached several times to check on us. Now for the food. I highly recommend that brownie overboard and the same and with a little shrimp topping. Beyond disappointed in the service I received tonight around 9pm.. I honestly could have had better service going to a Sharis.. Ordered a glass of wine and was given a 9oz glass. Who drinks 9oz of wine with dinner? Endless shrimp is just an excuse to be handed 6 pieces extra of shrimp when I would expect atleast two orders extra.. Didn't even get asked if we were celebrating anything special.. Had boxes thrown at us at the end.. Server didn't even bother to ask how the food tasted.. My husband and I got a gift card for Red lobster from our sweet neighbor. Looked At the menu and decided to go. My husband ordered the Wood grilled Rockfish and I had the Snow crab legs. The Rockfish had been salted so much my husband could not eat it. The crab legs were also extremely salty, tasted and looked mushy and the shells were so soft that you could hardly crack them. Guess they were left over from the night before. The mashed potatoes were the only thing good but still tastes like they came from a box! Good thing our gift card was for $50 because that is what it cost for the two bad meals we had. The waiter was very good but we will not be back. Oh the biscuits were very salty as well. read more

What a wonderful treat. My hubby took the family out to dinner after a busy day. We arrived at Red Lobster around 7:30 pm. They were packed. The parking lots were all full so we had to park across the street at the mall. But even with all the people waiting for tables the average wait for anyone was about 10 to 15 minutes. Once seated we were brought our menus and then our drinks. Our server was Ryan G . A very attentive and polite young man who made sure we were happy and well taken care of. I love when a place is this busy because you can see the true nature of people by how well they react under this type of stress. Ryan was a rock star. The food was to die for and I felt like a queen.
