    General Tso's Chicken
    Rick F.

Nothing fancy, but super quality food. I had the General Tso's lunch special. The best that I've had in a very long time. Great flavor, perfect crunch to the chicken. The Bento Boxes looked amazing. That and the sushi are a definite on my next visit. Super simple menu to navigate. The staff that I encountered were super helpful.

This is rice with shrimp and onions and zucchini. This was the food that I ordered for $25 with an order of sushi dragon roll.

The people are very kind, warm and welcoming and very patient for newcomers lol. The food is very flavorful and delicious not greasy and made fresh. The only thing that I complain about is for $25 I would imagine having enough for leftovers which is sadly not the case here but the food is very delicious and so the staff is very welcoming. The restaurant is very nice and clean and they are cleaning up after their customers frequently. That's why I gave it four stars.

Simply not very good. Relatively inexpensive, but very low quality ingredients. Grocery store sushi is better than from here.

I have heard friends rave about Yokohama for years, but it always seemed so far and out of the way. Now I am kicking myself for waiting so long to go and it has ruined me for a lot of other 'sushi' places closer to home. Not convinced yet? Read on. The owner only uses the freshest fish that she used to drive hours to get almost daily to ensure it is the best cut and quality - and this shines through in the taste of her offerings. The downstairs space is cozy and intimate - but they do have the coolest 'party space' upstairs that you can rent/reserve complete with in-ground tables for an authentic experience. They will also set up karaoke up there if you ask! Back to the food. Our group ordered about 10 items - all of which were so good that I was super mad that I had waited so long to try Yokohama. We were fortunate to go with a friend that has been frequenting this gem for about 20 years - so he ordered for us - and this is the way to go! We had the Volcano, BMW, Fat House (SO unique), Indiana, Speedway, and Debbie rolls, Sake smoked salmon and super white Nigiri, the Gyoza app, and another seared tuna app that I cannot remember the name of - all DELISH! Of note, your GPS might take you to what appears to be an alley - don't worry - you're close! Yokohama is in a converted house space and the vibe is so comfy. If you get the back corner table near the fireplace, check for a hidden drawer under the table where you will find years worth of love notes tucked inside. Request 'the lover's table' to sit here! Pro tip: if it is not busy, ask if Debbie is available to tell you a joke or to show you a magic trick. You won't be disappointed.

I'm not a fan of raw sushi, so I always get the sweet potato roll and/or the stop 11 roll. We ordered DoorDash last night and added the tomago roll and it will be added to my favorites at Sushi Club. The stop 11 roll was all gone before I could snap a picture, but there are pictures uploaded by other users. Note: I do substitute soy wrapper instead of seaweed and I add cream cheese to the tomago and sweet potato rolls. It's $2 extra but well worth it. As far as pricing goes, when you order DoorDash there is a slight up-charge, but it's still fair pricing. We got three rolls for $40 with tip and service fees. Three people ate, so overall not a bad deal. If you want to dine in, they do offer AYCE made to order appetizers and sushi. The restaurant itself is no frills, but it's a good bargain if you can eat a good amount of food. If you don't like something, tell the server and don't just leave it on your plate at the end because you'll be charged extra if you leave a certain number of pieces. If you're a light eater like me and AYCE isn't for you, there is a full menu to order from. If you haven't tried this place, give them a shot! They also have a location on West 10th Street and in Fishers at 116th and Allisonville.

We bro see the menu which is both displayed on boards behind the counter as well as in a paper option at the register. They have ample seating with the standard table and chairs as well as a fun space for photos and swinging chairs (think Insta photo). They have sushi, bowls, pho and a variety of other options as well as sharing space with a cake bakery. I'm not sure how that all fits in but as we were there for lunch we didn't try the sweet treats this time. I ordered a veggie bowl which had a variety of sauces, but was able to make it vegan which is always appreciated. They don't have any vegan pho or ma y other vegan options, but this is a good spot for a quick rice bowl meal if you are out and about. My friend got the Pho which she said was amazing and definitely worth returning to get again. I do wish someone would come up with a vegan based Pho as they are delicious! Overall the flavors were good and satisfying and the service was wonderful for such a casual spot. I would go back if I needed a quick meal and was in the mood for a rice bowl. I do think they should put on a few more veggies as it was mainly rice in my bowl, but the rice was delicious and with enough sauce it felt more of a meal. Definitely worth a try!
