Pizza slices left behind by numerous members of family.

Got a pizza today, other than pepperoni. The vegetables and the meats that came with it were super small and inadequate. Also, the pizza at this place has been historically too salty.

As a deep-dish pizza lover, they make one of the best! The pizza was perfect, and the service was amazing. The guy who helped me was so patient and friendly, it felt like we were old friends. Great pizza and a great experience!

The gf pizza was the biggest gf pizza i ever had. It was thin and good, but the cheese didnt have much flavor. I wish they put seasoning all over. The next day i added pepperoni and cooked it longer and it was way better. The ravioli was good too i just wish they has gf alfredo sauce. Was a nice find'

Tried the pizza here when it first opened and was not completely taken with the experience. I have not tried it since. However, went by the other day for dinner with my father and we had a couple of pasta dishes. OMG, these are huge bowls, lots of meat, tasty garlic bread, and a very fresh tasting and nice salad that came with the combo meal. All that for I think $11.99 per combo meal! They even have a daily special, which usually comes in a dollar or so cheaper. Great value for money, I would come back for the pasta, and perhaps give that pizza a second chance.

3.5 stars. Really torn between "Yah! I'm a fan" and "A-OK". The Margarita Gourmet Pizza was somewhat of a let down. I usually think fresh beautiful bold colors...green, white, and red of the Italian flag. What the pizza actually looked like was really not so appetizing. The pizza could have really used more of a basil kick, but otherwise not a bad tasting pizza. Another point of confusion is that we've been here a few times already and even though we've ordered the same thing, we've not gotten a salad the first time, the second time we got a small salad, and the third time we got a large salad. I guess in the end it evens out, but would be nice to know why the inconsistency. The star of the show in my opinion were the calzones / stomboli. The Meat Classic was definitely loaded with meat and probably lodged in my heart somewhere. But MMMM-MMMmmm. That was good. HEAVY and FILLING but don't eat it all in one sitting. You'd probably die.

Eh, I've had better pizza at cheaper places in McLean. People were hard to communicate and delivery was complicated by them unnecessarily.

While I was only in the store for a brief time to get takeout, I appreciated that the staff working there were ready and on top of things. While it is a pizza place, this brand offers a bit of Latin American flair, including empanadas, creative seasonal salads, and the option to get lightly pickled Peruvian sweet peppers on your pizza, which you should absolutely 100% take. It's a very thin pizza and not that filling, but the creamed corn empanadas I got were quite filling, and I'll get a solid two meals out of this. My salad had a distinctive mix of nectarines and fried onions which somehow worked. I'm sure their next seasonal salad is just as good, but it also bears keeping in mind that their caesar, at least according to my online research, is vegetarian.

They accommodated our gluten-free request, but only after the server had to go check with the kitchen. I also asked for a side of the squid ink pasta, which again, she had to check with the kitchen after saying no first. We went on a Sunday night, so it was quiet and perfect for catching up with friends. But as mentioned, the service was just so-so. It wasn't completely awful, but it just was not great. Our server's demeanor was lukewarm to say the least. Server said no right away to our requests, until she asked the kitchen, who accommodated (ie GF option and side of squid ink pasta). Perhaps she could have said "let me check" before saying "no" right off the bat, before checking with the kitchen or manager! Just sayin'.... She also started killing flies with the zapper at the bar while there were customers at the restaurant. The bar had glasses and plates set up so it was a little discomforting. Where did the dead flies drop into??? And really, who wants to see that?? After dinner, she dropped off the little handheld payment thingie and never came back. Again, the food was excellent and I may return for that alone. But now I know what to expect (or rather, not expect) for service!

Seems their day old chicken buffalo pizza is a specialty, so that was a buck more. I should have just stayed with the pepperoni. To be honest, I was expecting better. This day old dried out thin crust was a sad excuse for a pizza slice. it should have been steamed then thrown through their reheat oven cycle. Because it was day old dry. The potential was there... but the execution after sitting out all day... I mourn that pizza. Thrown on a paper plate by a teenager, the service wasn't much more than a grunt for a credit card. And the garage like atmosphere wasn't off putting, but I could smell the used oil in the concrete floors. I'm told the location in Alexandria is a better store. But yeah, not a great first impression.

If you're gonna get an appetizer, I highly recommend the white truffle garlic bread. The strong truffle and garlic flavor perfectly together and the bread was super soft and warm. Onto the entrées, my husband and I decided to split the squid ink pasta, lasagna, and the hot honey smoked prosciutto pizza. The portion for the lasagna was a lot smaller than I thought but honestly, I was super full by the end of it. This time around, I picked up the sausage and pepperoni pie for the boys, and it was a total hit. As a cheesesteak aficionado, I had to give theirs a shot--fully loaded with extra hots. The roll was spot on, perfectly toasted with a great crunch. The meat itself was well-seasoned and clearly a quality cut. My only real knock is the meat-to-bread ratio, which leaned a bit heavy on the bread. They do offer a double meat option on the menu, though you shouldn't have to order 2x meat just to get the baseline balance right. Their idea of extra hots was also a little light for my taste.
