They went joyriding in my car! Don't take your sports car here. See the good, the bad, and the bottom line below. First the good: Friendly service. They were willing to work with me on specialty parts. They arranged transportation once. If you can get it there at 7:30, it seems like they can do most jobs same day. The bad: The worst issue is that they have definitely taken my car for at least one joyride!!! This is a unacceptable, unprofessional and a major breach of trust. On the first visit, someone picked me up from my house in MY car when it was ready (not the truck they used the first time), which was nice on the surface, but he seemed maybe too glad to have done it. On the ride back, he told me how he was a major street racer and lost his license for a long time - like years? Then he accidentally told me how he would always race customer cars when he worked somewhere else and then realized what he said and went quiet and awkward. It was so obvious but I had no proof so I let it go and decided never to go back. However, long story short, I recently had no choice but to use them again so I reset one of my trip odometers when I dropped it off. When I picked it up, they had driven 1.2 miles (seems like more than needed for testing) and my mileage was the lowest I have ever seen it: SIX MPG!!! I usually get at least 20, including the occasional fun drive so it's clear what they did. They obviously drag raced it, probably without warming it up considering it was a mile, which is especially bad for my new turbo. Who knows what else they did. Donuts? Abusing my clutch? Launching it? What long term damage could they have caused? Unbelievable. Other problems: For my first alignment there, I told them I have some suspension adjustments under the hood, which they definitely need to know about to align it. The front desk guy didn't write it down (the street racer). So I called like 7 hours later (7 hours for an alignment?) to check on it and got the tech on the phone. He sounded a little annoyed that I was bugging him (maybe just busy and interrupted, OK), but then he said they were struggling with it...and it was because no one told him what I said. On one of my last visits, there was an issue that they said wasn't their fault but it was aftermarket so I thought it could be my problem and thanked them for everything they did. I contacted the manufacturer who said it sounded like they may have tightened something down incorrectly, which is a little annoying, but understandable. I had to bring it back and they checked it and didn't charge, which was nice, but then raced my car (the six mpg visit). The parking lot is also a nightmare. Nowhere to park and other businesses are clearly annoyed with signs in front of their shops about their spaces being for their businesses (obviously fair) but then there aren't many options. There have been some other small issues as well. Bottom line: If you DON'T have a fun car and you're willing to leave it all day for basic work, then you might have a good experience there. They are friendly, can probably do it same day, and are willing to work with you, which is why I'm willing to give two stars. That said, I have just had too many issues, especially now that I have proof they were joyriding my car. read more

They're reasonable, communicative, fast & most importantly TRUST WORTHY. It is SO hard to find someone to take care of your car, besides the Dealer, who you can trust to do the job right and, unlike the Dealer, won't charge you an arm and a leg. Try them out. Everyone there was nice and professional and they were very transparent about what needed to be completed. My car was done in a timely manner and they called to let me know as soon as it was done. While not everyone was wearing a mask I chose to walk around the area because if my own health reasons, plus it's their business so they can do what they want. Oh my goodness; I've been to many, and I see many, tire shops and should've been here first. Are usually buy my tires from tire rack or Amazon and have them mounted at different tire shops. Walt, the kind and courteous gentleman that assisted me, gave me a quote that would've beaten Tire Rack's price, along with some other small mom and pop shops I've been to(my family is "big" in giving back to small local businesses). So Walt gave me the decent price to mount my son's tire on the new rim/wheel. I usually leave tire shops feeling good about the value but Walt not only gave me a decent quote on future purchases, but I also left with a smile due to a wonderful conversation:) So a "thumbs up" for overall experience; not just the cost. Oh, the employees in the outside garage area are friendly as well, while running around like some focused hyenas. I just know I would not be that friendly while doing multiple tasks at once. After performing my oil change , they left the oil cap off. They claimed that I have an oil leak from the oil cooler. But I think they left the oil cap off on purpose to make me think something was wrong. read more

Car dealerships and auto shops lost my trust a long time ago. In my experience, there are a lot of crooks in this industry who take advantage of unknowing customers and try to empty your pockets. I've been burned a few times so it takes a lot for me to trust an auto shop (I don't go to dealerships anymore unless I absolutely have to). But these guys have earned my trust. I've been bringing my cars here for the past several years for different things and they haven't done me wrong, overcharged me, or done unnecessary work. They've even been honest with me about things that don't really need to be replaced or fixed. And I've appreciated that so much. From my experience with them so far, I think they're honest people who do honest work. I hope that never changes. I whole-heartedly recommend their services. read more

Update: Was forced to buy snow tires at another shop for almost exactly the same amount of money a week later, using the same credit card. They were unaware of a 3% "convenience fee" and did assess such a fee. My convenience was the same. Seems that Tire Pros is alone in charging this fee, likely neglecting California state law in doing so. read more

Redlands Tire Pros is our go to for any tire needs and we've been using them for years. Any time we've needed to come in for repair or new tires, they've been able to get us in same day and they have awesome customer service. I am a single young female and when I first moved to Redlands, I had a tire emergency and went to 2 other tire shops. They wanted me to wait days before they could check out my tires. My tire was flat and I managed to make it to Redlands Tire and they checked and patched it out right away. I was out in less than 20 minutes. This happened again a couple of months later with a different tire and I went straight to Redlands Tire and I received the same great service! Neither time did they haggle me or try to charge me a ridiculous task. On those two days, they were heroes to me! The owner makes their presence shown and is always helpful and kind. Had an awesome experience with Justin and his team here at Redlands Tire Pros. An auspicious start to a Big Bear weekend trip was solved quickly and easily with a phone call. A pothole decided to jump up and eat one of our tires one mile from our cabin destination. What horrible luck! Even with run flat tires, we didn't want to chance going down the mountain on a busted wheel. After consulting with Justin, he told us that he had the tire in stock and also shared information that as an AWD vehicle, there was a chance that we would have to replace all 4 tires to ensure the tires wore out evenly. He ordered 4 tires "just in case" and we proceeded to tow our vehicle down the mountain to the shop. Once there, they inspected the vehicle and determined that the tread life on the back of the vehicle was within the allowable range and stated that we only needed the two front tires. A little over an hour later, we were back on the road to continue our weekend trip. Can't recommend these guys highly enough! Our interactions with Justin and Travis were great! read more

I called in they said come on down they were busy but they got me in and dialed in the front end and adjusted the steering. I even got a oil change. Unfortunately I chose this place for the 5 star reviews. Not sure how valid those reviews actually are now that I've been there. I called during the week to get an appointment. Justin/Dustin said they don't take appointments, "first come first serve". Great, so I drag everyone out of the house on Saturday to arrive before 7:30 am. I drop the car off for brakes. They said they would call and let me know if I needed rotors in addition to brake pads. They asked no questions and acted like I was wasting their time. Planned to stay in Redlands until my car was finished. Reasonably expected my car to be finished, at the latest, 11:00 am. By 10 am I had to call to see what was going on. He said he'd call back within the hour. Nothing. Returned home by noon. Got a call finally around 12:30. Telling me what needed to be done. Took 5 hours to figure out what to do to my car. He said it would take 1 1/2 hrs to finish. By 3:00 we decided to head back to Redlands. It was done by the time we got there. I'm disappointed that when they say "First In First Out", they're actually lying to you. They also tell you nothing up front about the 3% extra charge for using cc/plastic. Unbelievable. I feel like they wasted my time because they acted like working on my car was a waste of their time. No respect for the customer. read more

Wow! These guys are amazing! My wife just bought a brand new 2022 Ford Explorer. She's had it 8 days, and as good luck would have it, she got a giant screw in her tire, while on her way to work. I checked with Yelp to find a local tire repair shop, and I came across Redlands Tire Pros. I dropped by on my lunch break and two gentlemen (Ty and another gentleman who's name I didn't catch) quickly greeted me, and instantly started on my repair. They had me in and out in a flash. These guys are constantly amazing, kind, and excellent at what they do. I've been getting tires here for over 20 years. But today I could have been anyone in need. I showed up 10 min after they closed after a long day of work using my truck, with a slow leak in one of my tires and 10 long work days in front of me with no time off. But they cheerfully fixed my tire and sent me on my way, not even charging me a penny. I will be back to get my new tires as soon as I can get a day off. These guys are absolute morons. I arrived at 0730 when they opened and the red haired / bearded guy seemed to not care one bit that I was there. I told him I had a flat tire and needed it done by 2 PM when I needed to leave for work. He said that they had 6 people ahead of me. Now I know that is probably because they can't manage a tire shop at all. I told the guy that the tire is what was needed but if they had time I needed either brakes or rotors replaced. He said he would call me in "a couple of hours". I told him I was going to go home to sleep (I work nights and have an hour drive) and to call me so I could authorize repairs. I woke up at 1200 and there hadn't been a call. I called the shop and was told that they were busy, my car was next, and they would call me back. I still had no call by 12:40 so I called again and was told the mechanic was test driving my car and they would call back again. They actually called me at about 1:15 PM. The guy said that my brakes were at 30% and didn't need to be replaced yet but my rotors needed to be replaced or machined. I said there isn't enough time for that and what about my tire. Guy on the phone paused a while then asked "what tire". I said I needed a new tire. He said he would check and put me on hold. Guy came back on the phone and said my tires were fine, they had enough tread. I said I had a flat tire. I asked what he had checked, the spare donut it? He was silent and then put me on hold. When he came back he said that there was a nail in the tire and it can't be repaired. Then he said he didn't have the tires in stock but could get them in by 4 or 5 PM. I said "You had my car all day for a flat tire and never even looked to see if that tire was in stock!?" Guy said, " I told you we were busy today". Then he has the gall to ask me what I wanted him to do. I told him to get my donut back on and I'll be right over. Another Uber ride later and I walk in. Red hair is still there and now some older guy is next to him. Red sees me coming and hands me the keys. I ask where it was parked and he tells me. I go to leave and he starts to engage me and tell me I am wrong. He says "sorry for the misunderstanding but I said we were busy". We argued a little bit and he kept engaging me as I tried to leave by saying it was my fault. Seemed like the old guy was a manager and red was covering his butt. I am not sure because nobody has a name tag or ever said who they were. Customer service 101. I advised him they were incompetent and asked again what tire he looked at when he said the tread was fine. Again, silence. When I go to Bud's Tire Pro in Riverside this never happens. I was in a pinch and tried this and will never do that again. Not all "Tire Pros" are created equal. What a difference employees and management make. read more
