We wanted to try this spot for a while. We enjoy the 604 out in Waianae and the thought of one closer in town overlooking Pearl Harbor was tempting. The view and location is 5star the menu pretty good too. Staff are friendly. They have live music too. The reason I don't give it a 5 star or recommend is I'm honestly not sure if it is a mistake or or purpose. So if it happens again, we will go back to see, and I will update my review but it seems to happen all too often at restaurants here in Honolulu. If anyone can comment or explain that would be helpful to us and others in the future. We came during happy hour. We ordered a pitcher for $18 and a glass of white wine at $7 regularly $11. We also ordered more items after our initial drinks and food. When the bill came, the drinks were not happy hour prices. My husband pointed out the beer price was incorrect but he didn't look and didn't mention my wine was overcharged as well. The bill came back with lower price for beer but then we noticed the wine was not right. I didn't want to ask again and wait some more for $4 so I told my husband to deduct it from the tip. We went home a little deflated over the experience but still thinking it was overall a good experience. Several days later my husband checks his credit card charges it showed the amount was different, more than he had signed for. It is less than $5 in a bill over $120 so we now wonder if the first "mistakes" were deliberate. Alot of tourists and military seem to go here. When we go back, if something happens again with our bill I will update this review with a 1 star. I don't understand how we could get charged wrong in the first place and then again after we've already left. read more

Terrible service. Unorganized with their "wait list" and what customers have to do to get a table. Overcrowded, overpriced and overrated. However there were a few things I could describe as "unders"..... food portions were under portioned and the entire crowded, rushed, and inattentive experience was underwhelming. You'd be better off just throwing your money at this place as you drive by...you'd still be as hungry as if you ate a full meal here, but at least you'd save yourself the cost of the tip and the 45 minute wait for a table. read more

I went here for lunch one day and then went for dinner the next. Service was very good both days. Ambiance is nice since it's by the water. The Mac and cheese was cold and so was the fries. Apparently they make a lot ahead of time when there is an event and Kapema was playing when we went for dinner. I orders fish and chips for lunch. The fish was really greasy, more than what I'm used to when ordering fish and chips. I ordered the miso butterfish for dinner and it was excellent. I highly recommend it. Ambiance was the only thing that went well. Everything else... not great. We didn't see our waitress often at all. We were a party of four, and had a pregnant woman with us. They brought all of the food out except for the pregnant lady's food, and made her wait fifteen minutes until they finally brought it out. I got a sandwich and it was soggy, and my husband got a steak and the steak was overcooked, the mashed potatoes sour, and the vegetables we also soggy. Don't recommend. read more

After visiting Pearl Harbor, we were looking for a place to eat nearby. This restaurant has wonderful views, as shown in the pictures, and we were seated right by the water, which was a definite plus. However, the reason for my overall score is that the grilled chicken on our salads did not look very appetizing at all. We couldn't even eat it. While it seemed cooked through, it had artificial grill marks, making it seem like it had been frozen or something similar. It just wasn't good. The salmon was only okay, and my rice was really dry. On the bright side, the pork was actually quite tasty, and we all enjoyed that. Unfortunately, the hamburger was just plain and felt overpriced for the flavor. If you're looking for a place for a small snack and drinks while enjoying the view, this restaurant is a good option, but I'm not sure about their meals. read more

It was my wife's birthday and we were looking for a restaurant slash live music location and we stumbled on Restaurant 604. The restaurant is right next to the marina close to Pearl Harbor Museum. There is ample parking. You walk upstairs and hostess are thee to greet you. Any space is perfect for views of the marina and sunsets are incredible. Our waitress Shanice was friendly and eager to give us suggestions. She was very knowledgeable of all the drinks and food. I highly recommend asking for her to help with food and drinks. The poke nachos, clam chowder, and the Crispy Shrimp were to die for. And the drinks the Kai Tai, Spicy Jalapeño margarita, regular Mai tai hit the spot. The live music started around 6:30 pm so give some time. It gets really packed. read more

604 is a great gathering place for large parties! I had lunch with 20+ of my fellow dance friends and we had about 4-6 tables reserved for us. The high top tables were connected and 2 of them (which were booth tables) were separated. Thank you to the staff who served our tables because we were consistently ordering. You guys are on point when it comes to large parties! It's a casual place to dress up for, the ambiance is quite loud (especially with a reservation for 20+ with kids) along with free parking! I like their lychee dreamin (aka lychee vodka) served in a martini glass. What's even better are their fishbowls! It's not quoted on their menu but you get to choose whichever cocktails that they have on their menu and they can just turn that into a fishbowl. Sadly i didn't get to see how much the fishbowl cost (partner got the tab) but I'm sure it was well worth it and it felt worth it after drinking it throughout lunch haha. It was a Cheehoo chi chi! Not on the menu - so it's an oldie but still a goodie! The taste just reminds you of a pina colada and it's refreshing! We were all able to pay on separate tabs instead of a whole party of 1 check. We got kalua nachos to start off with and it was fantastic with their fresh chopped jalapeños! The ahi katsu was good too! Cuts wells! Along with the fish tacos smothered in pico de gallo and chips on the side and it was great to pair with my fishbowl! There was no official time limit as to how long we were able to stay but we stayed for lunch for about 2 hours there. I really hate to make this review but tonight really was disappointing. I've been to 604 before when they had the ribs which were sooo good but they don't have it on the menu anymore. Tonight, my husband and i ordered to start: Kalua Nachos and Firecracker chicken, The kalua nachos were soggy with the cheese tasting very artificial and overall was bland. The firecracker chicken was actually the best thing we ordered out of the whole night, that's why i give this place 2 stars. I ordered the Seafood pasta which was incredibly bland, I took 4 bites and was just over it and decided to not eat it anymore. My husband ordered the ribeye which came out rare, pretty much all raw inside even though the piece of "ribeye" was SO THIN! we had the waitress send it back, and when it came back, it was still so rare in the middle as seen in the picture. the picture shown looked better than the first time we got it but it still looks rare to me. He decided to eat half of the steak cause he didn't want to cause any issues. I have been here multiple times over the past 5+ years of visiting Hawaii. It's a great location for those visiting Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona memorial. But we were not impressed this time. We went for a Saturday brunch and apparently they are upgrading the kitchen so the menu was very limited. Just a thought but perhaps you could update the website to reflect the situation. We all got drinks and what was once an awesome Bloody Mary was watery and tasteless. It's loaded with veggies, a shrimp and some sort of meat but unimpressive. We went home and made better ones. We also were given no plates or silverware until I went to the hostess station and requested it. Now for the good stuff. The food we did order was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The poke nachos were a big hit with great flavor and an abundance of poke. The view of the harbor and open air dining is nice too. I've been here a few times and have always enjoyed the experience. I'd like to give particular thanks to Restaurant 604 for my most recent dining experience, however. We had many visitors on island recently for my wedding, including my parents and new in-laws, and we were looking for places that could accommodate large parties. 604 delivered! We made a reservation for 20 people and were seated at the high top tables near the entrance. We had a fantastic brunch, with options for everyone from the vegetarians to the meat lovers in our family. People rolled in at various times and were still able to be seated with our party. Even with a big group and a busy dining room, our server stayed on top of drinks and ordering for everyone. She also conspired with me to bring me the bill for everyone so that we could cover the brunch for our guests, even after people had begun to ask for their own tabs - something my new husband and I really appreciated! Our friends and family loved the food, the drinks, and the great views of the harbor. Plus I now have the memory of my best friend and my 70-year-old father ordering double shot bloody marys together; that alone made my day. It came with maui onion chips, but I think it would have been tasty with fries. The services was quick and the place was crowded.
