Tripping Animals / Fiden's Collab - Super Connected TIPA

My absolute favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona! Not only is the food phenomenal, their craft beer menu is second to none. The staff are very engaging and will make your experience world-class with their exceptional service. The ambiance is very cozy with an elegant decor. Great for a date night or meeting with friends. For their food, my favorite Spring Rolls are the Filet Mignon, Spider, Spicy Asian, Sunshine, and Bruce Lee. I love starting with their Vietnamese Wings and Spicy Bun Bo Edamame. For lunch or dinner, their Bahn Mi Sandwiches and Vietnamese Pho is super authentic and flavorful. Their craft beer menu rotate monthly and feature breweries of Monkish, Electric, Green Cheek, CLAG, Fiden's, & Russian River (yes, Pliney the Elder is sold here!). They also have a full bar and a great wine selection. If you have never visited Rice Paper- Shea, give them a shot. You will thank me later!!

I recommend the pho and soft spring rolls with peanut sauce. Very tasty! Best pho in Phoenix because it's fresh and mild in flavor. Beef was delicious and lots of noodles in the soup. However, the garlic noodles were dry and mediocre. The lemongrass chicken was also mediocre because it was only 4 small slices of chicken and it's marketed as a chicken dish and it has the same dry garlic noodles (yaki soba) so that is not a dish I recommend. Service is ok, the waiters are nice but the tables need more attention. The table setting was given to us in a disheveled way, the glass maybe used and sticky food spots that needed cleaning. Not a huge deal but inconvenient to ask for clean glass, cleaning rag, etc. I would go back again but during happy hour when pho is half off.

Never disappointed! The service in here is top notch. Our server Enrique was amazing. The food is delicious. We got the braised pork, spring roll, and lobster puffs.

Such a delicious meal! We love the rolls specifically and they have so many to choose from! Absolute amazing spices if you love spice! The crew is always amazing and the service is excellent. If you are up for a nice meal in a very fun cute place with great vibes - this is the one!

    Bhan mi sandwich

I stopped in for a bhan mi sandwich in the early afternoon and it was fine. It wasn't busy and I got served fairly quickly. There were only two other diners. The sandwich was fine but the pork meat seemed grisly and I had a hard time chewing it. This I one of those restaurants where you have to ask for salt; they don't put it on the table. Since it is a normal condiment that people use all the time, I think it's a problem that customers have to take time away from their food to get the attention of a server and wait for him/her to get something that should have been there to begin with. Also, as you can see in the photo, the salt shaker was dirty with someone's leftover food. Ick. I would not come back here.

Add Shaking Beef to my accolades for the menu. Mane with sweet soy sauce which I don't believe I've had before. Use the rice to soak it up.

Such a cute little spot! The food is amazing, it's clean and fast service and we loved everything we tried. Great neighborhood spot.

Ordered the beef vermicelli salad. They don't offer beef so I ordered shrimp. It was tasty, refreshing and full of flavor. Had that with the Thai Tea. The customer service was great. The inside of the restaurant is super cute, clean with a cool vibe. Had I known, I would've ordered to eat inside. Instead I sat outside which was also very nice and relaxing.

I ordered an espresso martini made with rum, which was interesting and different from the usual vodka version. We didn't order food this time since we stopped in before our dinner reservation elsewhere, but other tables had food that looked great. I'd love to come back specifically to try their food along with more cocktails. Overall, a great little speakeasy with solid drinks, great service, and a cozy vibe. I'd definitely return.

I must bring my husband back here at some point. As I said, I sat at the bar and Megan the bartender was outstanding! I ordered a drink called Agree to Disagree. I think that was the name. Anyway, it was delicious and because it was happy hour it was half off the regular price of $23. I ordered one oyster and it was fabulous. I only ordered one because I was meeting a group of friends at The Guest House in 30 minutes and I did not want to spoil my appetite. We made our way down the stairs and the hostess was there ready to check us in. We didn't wait at all and got seated right away. Once seated it took a while for the server to come take our order. We ordered: 1 WILD STRAWBABY - Ocho Blanco Tequila, Bergamot, Strawberry, Pineapple, Lemon, Almond Milk $22 1 50 FIRST DATES - Bumbu Rum, Cascara, Brown Sugar Date Syrup, Coconut Milk, Cinnamon Sprinkle $22 1 BLUEBERRY MULE - Blueberry, Lime, Ginger Beer $13 The drinks didn't take too long and another bartender dropped them off. The inside is pretty cool and unique but service could've definitely been better though. *There's a $10 cover fee per person when there is live music*
