Food was great! Service was amazing! Our waitress was very kind and the hostess was nice. Music playing in the background but not too loud.

I was visiting Arizona, when I saw this restaurant on Yelp...plus my friend who lives in Waddell, told me about this place. The interior of the restaurant is large with a lot of sitting space. The interior was clean, the service was great and the food was good. I can see why this restaurant has great reviews. Keep up the good work!

The Meat Lovers Skillet I ordered was delicious. (I think that's the name. We didn't get a receipt.) I didn't care much for the hash browns but the onions and bell peppers improved the taste. It's very filling. Our server was very polite. We didn't get his name but he has an accent. The restroom can use an update and simple attention to detail so the toilet paper is in the holder and not sitting on top.

Came into town with my family and we needed a breakfast spot and we came across this diner. I went based off of the yelp reviews and everyone recommended the meat lover skillet and it was def delicious! The hash browns were crispy and they were not skimpy on the toppings. Overall delicious!

My wife and I were looking for a new place to eat before we go grocery shopping and saw a little A-Frame sign on the sidewalk that said Richi's Diner so we had to give it a test drive. We pulled up to the parking area to see 2 spaces reserved for Purple Heart recipients and I was already impressed. The inside is big and clean so we sat down and placed our order. I had the chicken fingers, which were pretty good and my wife had the club sandwich with fries that was pretty darn good. Please support this family owned business that supports our great veterans. The food is good, the people are kind and you won't be disappointed.

I had my hopes up for this place as I am on the hunt for a diner in my new area. It wasn't what I had hoped for breakfast, but I will try again for lunch. Sometimes places have their best meal you know? For breakfast we got the cinnamon roll, the standard breakfast, and the meat lovers skillet with avocado. I would say the cinnamon roll is less than thrilling if you're a cinnamon roll monster like me. I give it like a 3/10. It was very bready. I can see how it would be great for french toast that they offer, but not so much as a cinnamon roll solo and the frosting was way too sweet for cream cheese frosting - for my personal taste. I would not get it again. The standard breakfast was as expected. Basic. Nothing to write home about. I only ate one egg because I am really noticing how bright yellow (instead of golden) the yolks in the restaurants are becoming. The meat lover skillet was the best thing we ordered but the avocado was borderline. If I had to come back for breakfast I'd get that or try another skillet. Otherwise, I will be back for lunch to give that a shot! Sometimes lunch is better. The restaurant was clean. The staff was nice. Service was good and fast.

We had an early dinner at Richi's diner today. I had the Ground Sirloin steak and my wife had the Lasagna. The ground sirloin was delicious and cooked just the way I asked, it came topped with grilled onions and mushrooms, plus came with a side of real mashed potatoes topped with a generous crater full of homemade brown gravy, also included was a side of steamed vegetables. My wife's lasagna looked great and included a side of Texas toast. Both dinners came with either soup, salad, steak fries or Onion rings. We opted for the soup which was either clam chowder or lemon chicken; we each had one of the choices so we could try them both. Everything was delicious and as our server Susanna stated all made from scratch. Susanna our server was very attentive and very good natured and informed us if we didn't like either of the soups we could opt for the other choice. We were very pleased with everything and were happy to learn that the restaurant offered a loyalty program which was $5 off for every $100 in spending; also available was a 4% discount on the bill if we paid with cash . The restaurant was very clean and comfortable. Most of the customers seemed like regulars as Susanna seemed to be familiar with them, or it could have been she was just that friendly of a gal; very enjoyable. Overall we were very happy and glad we had tried this family run restaurant.

The hostess, Carla was amazing handling takeout orders, waitlist and seating with a smile. Our server Susie was wonderful. She was attentive and navigating all the customers well. The food is delicious. However, my onions were NOT grilled as requested with scrambled eggs and cheese so I sent it back. I never do. I know not to order that in the future. Hubby ordered an omelette with pancakes. It wasn't hot so he asked them to microwave the plate. After that Steve appeared to see if everything was okay. It was fine but not fine because I didn't get what I wanted. Will 4 stars for the service, tasty good and clean restroom. When it's super busy, stick to the printed menu. :-)

To: Corporate Leadership,…read more On June 4th, I ordered a biscuit sandwich with no cheese (highly allergic) to go, from your location in Glendale, AZ. I got my order without checking it, and drove to my office in Surprise. When I sat down at my desk and opened my order the sandwich had cheese on it. Obviously, I was upset, but no worries there was another Biscuit Cafe located here in Surprise about 8 minutes away. So, I got back in my car with a completely uneaten in tact order and went to the location here in Surprise. I spoke with the host about what had happened and she proceeded to go get the manager. The manager informed me that they would not re-make my sandwich, citing that they would be providing uncompensated product. I asked her if she was serious about her position? I work in Corporate Finance, and I could not believe that her position was to not make right an order over what ultimately is very little in food cost. My sandwich was about $15 with tax, so removing tax and your margin out of the equation, this was not a serious financial inconvenience for your organization. Truth be told it's not that significant of a financial inconvenience to me either, it was more of the principle. Any customer facing organization understands the power of negative reviews as an impact to marketing and having bad reviews etc. over a sandwich that probably cost you between $4 and $8 including labor cost is not smart management, and you should definitely take a look at the decisions this particular manager at that location is exercising.

A friend and I visited this restaurant on 06/22/2026 at 9:00am for breakfast. The dining area was not busy with just 3-4 tables occupied and a few people at the barstools. I was seated quickly by a hostess and given two menus while waiting for my friend to arrive. Menu: it's about the size of a Sears Catalog (exaggeration but about 8+ pages front and back) and appears to serve food approved by the United Nations (food from different parts of the world). This is the type of menu Gordon Ramsey would go crazy over and shred to pieces. Portions are not larger than before but prices increased considerably! Food: I ordered a Veggie Omelette with Spinach added and Whole Wheat Toast, decaf coffee, and water. My friend ordered an all-meat skillet, sourdough toast, coffee, and water. The omelette/skillet was overcooked and dry. My friend sent back his toast because it was served with a MOLD SPOT on it. Our server was not swayed by the mold and replaced it. No apologies or contact from the managers. By this point, we just didn't want to finish what we ordered and left. Dining room is well lit and spacious. Lots of available seating but could not help that their "Grand Opening" sign has been hanging outside for WEEKS. Servers are slow and never seem to be pleasant (more melancholy). Overheard one server speaking with some guests at a table using profanity. This review was based on my individual experience. This used to be our favorite breakfast spot but clearly is no longer the case. Having watched the gradual decline in quality and service, I am no longer inspired to spend my money at AZ Diner.

I had never been to First Watch before, but I expected a wait. I checked in and was quoted 25 minutes for a party of four. After 30 minutes, I checked in again and was told I was second in line. A few more minutes went by, so I asked again, and now I was fifth in line. I was confused, and they explained that people checking in online could jump ahead of me. They also said they were unable to accurately quote a wait time, and that it could end up being much longer. I know many other places use a hybrid check-in system, and I've never experienced an issue like this. I understand when things simply take longer than expected, but tables were being turned over and people were being seated. I must have just been incredibly unlucky with the timing of people checking in online. After finally being seated about 45 minutes later, we put our order in right away since we were now going to be cutting it close. I'm used to breakfast places being pretty quick, but it took another 45 minutes for our food to arrive. We ended up being 15 minutes late to the movie. I expected the opening credits to still be rolling, so I wasn't too stressed, but we definitely missed the first five minutes or so of the movie. The food was pretty good, but my eggs were over hard when I had ordered them over medium. What disappointed me the most was that nobody seemed to care that the quoted wait time was so far off. There was no apology or acknowledgment. Our waitress was okay, but she avoided our table like the plague while we were waiting for our food, probably because she knew it was taking so long. Empathy and kind words go a long way.
