Strange. Showed up on comedy night without knowing. They were so preoccupied moving tables in preparation, we sat around for ten minutes before anybody noticed. Regulars sitting around us received attention, we did not. No big deal, we won't be back. One more thing, they cut their burgers with ground sausage. This would be fine as a singular speciality, but as a house blend this is strange. When you do that, it makes it difficult to control and cook to temp. Sausage also masks the flavor of beef, even in small doses. It's a local joint, but it's no excuse for incompetence. read more

Ricky J's is a nice place to go both during the day with just the family and at night with you friends! There food is great and we've only had one bad waitress (maybe it was a bad day for her) she was snooty and had a "i don't care" attitude. But that was the one and only time we've had much to complain about. We go here often to play some darts and eat some good food all the while getting a good buz! Oh and last thing!!! The bouncers here are GREAT!! Such funny, nice guys!!! You'll find them on the dance floor a lot which is great! And they chime in on karaoke sometimes!! read more

Been going here on and off a few weekends now. Waitresses are super friendly even when they get busy. Sometimes it takes a few longer to get food/drinks but they are usually pretty busy! It's become a regular visiting place! Luke and Christin make great drinks! I've never had any issues with the security there. Security has always been friendly. read more

I have been coming here for years now. It's always a great time. Good group of people playing darts. The best waitress I can ever remember...Kendra! First time customer on a Friday night. Was almost impossible to get a drink at the bar. Too many people standing at the bar socializing with the bartender. Only received service because a "regular" customer told the bartender to wait on me as I had been waiting for a while. After I was served, the regular customer told me the way to get a drink was to stand at the end of the bar. I explained to him that I watched for quite a while as people congregated at the end ofnthe bar socializing with the bartender and was impossible to get service without pushing people out of the way. Ended up sitting at the bar in order to receive any future service. My son goes here all of.the time and knew exactly what I was talking about. For a community bar, this one needs stop socializing with the "regulars" and acknowledge EVERY customer. Will give this place one more chance. I got over cliques in high school, hopefully, this place figures out that cliques don't make you successful, great service makes you successful. read more

So we have been here twice now , and both times have been really good. The service was as expected and everyone was really nice ! Both times my husband ordered ribeye breakfast and each meal was perfect . I tried the 12th man scramble and the Bigfoot chicken fried steak breakfast and they were also both awesome meals. Has a sports bar (Seahawks fan spot) feel, but is separate from the bar so families can come here as well . I would highly recommend this place all around good service and food ! read more

I started going there back in early May '09. Nice atmosphere. Yes, there are bikers there but they aren't starting fights. The entire time I've been there, it's been really humble. Great people working there, very friendly atmosphere. I've only ordered once (because I normally show up after 9pm), but it was a damn good burger!! The bar staff have you covered and will do everything in their power to make sure you have a great time. I'm there for the karaoke. Amazing hostess who's got the greatest vocals this side of the mountains. The sound system is incredible and will more than likely have the song you want to sing. Ricky J's is 20mi away from my house, but every time I go there, it's worth the drive. That's why I'll continue to go there. read more

I like that they have 2 sides to the establishment. If you go on the weekend, one side is usually doing karaoke. (Not that I can sign and have fun with it. Lol, but it's fun listening to everyone else.) Not sure if they have it during the week. The staff has always been nice and I've always had great service from all the bartenders. Where do I begin...... They stop serving food at 9pm. Okay thats fine, but we got there at 8pm and didn't get water to 8:30pm. Then it took 15 minutes for someone to come over and ask what we wanted. Thats after he tracked someone down. They came over with an attitude like we did something wrong by coming to their restaurant. Then we didn't get our food till 9:30 pm. Mine was good but my wifes had a hair in here sandwich. Our bill came it was $22.00 and I gave a $5.00 dollar tip. Even with all that its still a %20 tip. I forgot to sign the bill, the waitress came back with condescending tone in her voice and i quote "thanks for the generous tip, but you forgot to sign." What did she want a 50% tip. No she was lucky to get $2 or a penny. So I recommend not going there and to stay away from the restaurant part. read more

Very disappointing. The place was nearly empty yet we waited for 45 minutes for our food, which came out cold. The cheese on our sandwiches was congealed, hardened and cold already. I think it would have been a tasty sandwich had I eaten it when it was hot. The server said the place was slammed and that's what took so long, but everything came out cold. The people sitting behind us got their food right after us and they had only waited 10 minutes and their food came out hot. It was evident the better service goes to the regulars. This isn't a bar. It is a gathering place (or drinking club) exclusively for regulars who like to drink and gossip. You feel like an outsider as soon as you enter and are not welcome. The regulars will look at you as if you are interrupting their invitation only town hall meeting. Do yourself a favor and drive up to Meridian. After reading some of the reviews I felt that there should be some justice served. Ricky J's is a great bar & grill. They offer entertainment, a monthly calendar of events including give-away promotions, billiards, darts & good food. I think they have great menu & really good portions. I have NEVER been there where I didn't get good service. I didn't smell any smoke & I didn't feel like it was a male strip club, really ? So for those of you who thought you were dining in a five star gourmet restaurant, its not. This place was FREEZING. The service sucks. We waited 45minutes to get cold food while everyone around us who came after us got steaming hot food at the same time as we did. The food is mediocre at best anyone saying otherwise has to be a friend or family of the staff/owners. The tables are to close together and the decor looks as if it was purchased from goodwill. My favorite bar from Graham to Federal Way! Not only do they make excellent drinks tailored with the customer in mind, but they also offer great bar food to snack on. I love all of the bartenders equally, they all pour a perfectly strong drink, not to mention their prices are so reasonable. I go in to play pool because they are one of the few places that take care of their tables. If you live within a half hour try this place out! Fun place for trivia Thursday. We've been there 4 other times and were pleased with the food and service until last night! Ordered drinks before it started filling up and it took 15 minutes after I had to ask the server. The seafood platter was awful. Went for dinner/happy hour. Service was o.k., however . . . we tried to order the Monday special which was stated on your website as being 'all you can eat fish n chips' & the waitress informed us that it was a mistake on the website, only what was on the 'cards' at the table were being served. So, husband ordered a BLT off the menu & it stated $9.99. When he ordered, the waitress asked "what would you like for your side?" He asked for choices, made his choice of a salad. When we got the bill, he was charged $13.99 for his BLT. Asked the waitress again, "why the change in the amount from the menu"? She said, "oh, that was for the salad". Of course we said, "you didn't state that, you just asked us what we wanted'. Got a 'shrug & a oh'. The toasted bread was even lightly burned too, not toasted. Another couples order was mixed up with someone else's. I ordered Tot-cho's & they were sooo soggy, couldn't even eat them all. Not like we had ordered before when we were here. Was here on a Saturday night. My husband and I had burgers, and they were amazing. I had that Cobb burger. It was superb. The drinks were good too and all for a decent price. The atmosphere was fun.
