I recently visited Baked Tofu Donuts with my boyfriend, and we were honestly so impressed! It's such a cute little Japanese hidden gem in the Canoga Park area which was super cozy, aesthetic, and perfect for a sweet treat date. Their matcha drinks are AMAZING, and the tofu donuts are unlike anything I've had before: light, soft, and not overly heavy. I ordered the Matcha Passionfruit Lemonade along with an ube donut, and both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were refreshing, unique, and perfectly balanced (especially if you have a sweet tooth like me!). Sandra helped us out and gave the sweetest recommendation, she was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely made the experience even better. The customer service here is top-tier, and you can tell the staff really care. Definitely coming back to try more flavors. If you're in the area, this spot is a MUST

Ring Donuts is such a great treat every time I get to visit! The owner, Juliette, is super friendly and helpful, as are all of the staff. The black sesame donut is my favorite with the ube as a close second. I also love the sea salt mocha and yuzu lemonade. The space is inside is small but adorable with lots of cute Pokémon stuffies which I love. I also appreciate how engaged with the community Ring Donuts is with their support of the Jed & Ted races.

I'm so glad we finally have authentic Japanese baked goods in the Canoga Park area! I first discovered this place while browsing Yelp and had it saved on my "must-try" list for quite a while. I'm happy to say it lived up to my expectations. Tofu Donuts - Texture: More like a light sponge cake or cake donut, but less dense and rich than a traditional cake donut. - Flavors: There are SO many options that it was honestly hard to choose! My personal favorite was the Matcha Green Tea flavor. The owner described it as one of the least sweet options, and it was exactly what I was looking for. The sweetness level was perfect for anyone who prefers less sugar in their tea, coffee, or boba drinks. I also tried the Sakura Mochi flavor because it sounded unique. It tasted more like a red bean donut (a few red bean pieces inside, I forgot to take a photo). This one was definitely sweeter than the matcha, but still very enjoyable. I think it would pair especially well with a cup of tea or coffee. The owner was incredibly friendly and happy to answer questions about the flavors, ingredients, and recommendations. The only downside is parking. You'll likely need to find street parking and walk a short distance. Since it's located on a fairly busy street, dedicated parking would make the experience even more convenient. Overall, I'd definitely come back to try more flavors!

If you want healthy baked tofu donuts, this is the place. If you like the fried, super sweet and unhealthy kind, you probably won't like it as much. Sometimes, we all just want the unhealthy kind. When you wanna try a healthier alternative, come here. This place is very unique. I have been wanting to try it for a while. I got half a dozen that included earl grey, green tea, mochi, honey, double chocolate and chocolate chip. I made the mistake of just eating it straight out of the package. Definitely recommend warming it up in a microwave for at least 10 seconds. It will be a lot better.

Really good service and delicious donuts. Lots of street parking. Definitely worth the drive. I got alot of different flavors but my favorite was the ube and chocolate so far. Their donuts are very moist and not too sweet. Never new that gluten free donuts can be this good. I also got a decafe sea salt cream coffee, which i didnt like, it was smoky and bitter. I'll try their matcha next time!

This place is a true hidden gem, it's been around forever and you might just walk right past it! A quick tip: parking is around back, which is super helpful. Once inside, you'll see it's a tiny, cozy spot absolutely packed with anime figures. It's a really fun, unique vibe. The star of the show was definitely Sarah, who helped us pick our tofu donut. She was so friendly and gave us the best advice. She told us to mix our Iced Mocha Sea Salt and Matcha Sea Salt drinks to really taste the sea salt flavor... and she was totally right! It was delicious. LOL! For the donuts, we tried Matcha, Red Velvet, and Ube. The Matcha was the clear winner for us, you could really taste the authentic flavor. The others were good, but the Matcha was just more flavorful. We'll 100% be back to try the other flavors! If you're looking for something different and delicious, this quirky little spot is worth seeking out.

This store is so cute and had lots of pikachu decor around! Service was quick and efficient. Their sea salt matcha drink is yummy! The color is amazing and matcha has a light mellow note, perfect for beginners. If you are looking for a nutty or umami note, this isnt it, but if you enjoy lighter everyday matcha this will satisfy you! I also tried their ube donut and it was so delicious. It is moist and kind of reminds me of a denser donut, spongy, but more healthy since it is baked and not fried! I love the concept and will definitely be back go try more flavors!

Finally got to try this place! Their tofu dounts were given to us for our wedding give-away but I haven't had a chance to go to the store yet. The store is easily visible from the street and they have free parking as well. The store is simple yet designed well. Their donut is flavorful but not greasy and it's a perfect snack without feeling guilty. I also tried their iced salted green tea and coffee, they had just right amount of sugar and milk. They are not too sweet like at famous coffee chains. I recommend giving them a try! read more

We had the iced green tea and iced coffee along with the matcha donut and chocolate donut. It was delicious and satisfying without the guilt. The donuts are light and cakey. They aren't overly sweet. The service was great too. The owner was very nice and helpful as it was our first time. Would highly recommend it! read more

Obsessed with their sea salt iced coffee! I've been coming here almost everyday for weeks and now Starbucks and coffee bean don't compare! Love their red velvet and maple bacon donuts too :) only suggestion for them would be to open earlier because I am always craving their coffee when I leave for work around 8am and they don't open until 10am! read more

My wife and I love this place! My wife and I have decided to go gluten-free for health reasons and we are glad Ring helps satisfy our donut cravings. The only con would be the price, but we understand that you get what you pay for and that is quality. Side note: It would be nice to have a calorie break down of the donuts. This place is my obsession. I have tried all of their flavors and have literally one a day. They also have different limited time flavors each day that are amazing. Some of my faves are MAPLE BACON, FIG AND GORGONZOLA, CHOCOLATE CHIP AND ORANGE PEEL, EARL GREY, CHOCOLATE CHIP AND BANANA...list goes on. Also everyone who works here is so sweet. Not the kind of donuts you're used to, but it's perfect for me. Im not a dessert person but I get cravings at times. Made from tofu and has a consistency of a sponge cake. The donuts are very small for the price but they use the finest ingredients. I guess I'm only giving it 4 stars due to the size but otherwise, it's something you should try read more

I was suspicious of the idea of a tofu donut, but let me tell you I'd eat their donuts even if I didn't have Celiacs. 100% would recommend l, especially those who can't or don't eat gluten. I am hooked!! First off, this little shop is super welcoming as well as the employees that work there. My friend and I told them that it was our first time and they had no problem explaining what their product was made from, which flavor was the most popular & where they get their ingredients from. I went with his suggestion of most popular and got the sea salt iced coffee which literally blew my mind! I was a little afraid about the sea salt since I've never been a fan of salted caramel or anything like that but I am so glad I tried their #1 selling drink. It was the most creamy/soft iced coffee I've ever had and the salt is just a hint that doesn't overpower. As far as the donuts go, wow! I expected it to taste a little weird since it's made from tofu and all that jazz but I was wrong!! I had the double chocolate and it was super moist and tasty, like a cupcake! I got the red velvet to go and my husband ended up having it and he is NOT a fan of anything on the healthy side but he admitted it was actually pretty good. I can't wait to go back and try the red velvet for myself now! read more

These tofu donuts are awesome!! They taste REALLY good and they're pretty dense. Not your typical fluffy donuts as they're more like mini cakes - at least to me. Early grey and Matcha green tea are my favorite! I took down on star though for the price; it's more expensive than your conventional donuts but worth the price. read more

I love coming here. My recommendations are definitely the French press coffee and all of the tofu donuts. Has a succulent flavor that resembles fluffy muffins. I love earl grey and red velvet. Amazing amazing amazing place!!! Aya and Mitsu are so friendly and always provide excellent service. I'm hooked. Been going once a week for a box of 6 since I found the place. I also placed an order for a gift delivery which I would recommend if your looking for a little different gift idea. Mitsu made placing the order painless. My favorite flavors are lemon, honey, chocolate and blueberry. It's in an office building which you wouldn't expect it to be in. My suggestion, park on Vanowen right before Owensmouth and walk around the corner. read more

Great service, friendly staff members, and high quality ingredients. I enjoy the baked donuts a lot, it has a very fine sponge cake texture with a variety of flavors. I love the limited time flavors, it's a nice surprise with each visit. The donuts all taste amazing, but my favorite would have to be the Honey flavor. For all the coffee lovers out there, definitely try the sea salt whipped cream coffee. It's made with cold brew coffee and it's amazing during a hot day! This is a nice treat to have without all the guilt! They are roughly 180 calories each, gluten free, and ingredients sourced from local businesses. I rarely ever rate a business on yelp but this place is AAAAMAZINGGG!!! I had their green tea donut and sea salt iced coffee . The owners were extremely nice and friendly. She offered to heat up my donut which made it like 10 times more amazing than it already was. Their shop is super cute too. Have been meaning to try this place for awhile now and finally was able to today. Got the 6 gift box-- matcha, honey, maple bacon, double chocolate, red velvet and choco chip orange peel. Also ordered the cold brew and sea salt iced coffee. This is not your traditional donut, it was more dense and almost cake like. I really enjoyed them because even though they were denser they were light and spongy. Plus I didn't have the guilt of eating a sugary fried donut. The coffee was spot on. Highly recommend this place as an alternative to a more guilt free donut. read more

Tofu is healthy which means donuts are healthy. We've been getting donuts from this place multiple times already. Texture and taste is consistent. Full flavor all the way to the last bite. My favorite one is Matcha Green Tea, I was told ingredients came all the way from Japan. Red Velvet is also a must try. Don't forget to order their Matcha Green Tea to pair with any of their delicious donuts. read more

Today was my first time at Ring. I read all of the reviews and had to experience for myself. The customer service was friendly and professional. The store is very clean and minimalistic. The sea salt coffee is as good as it gets. About 4$ for a large which is a good value as far as coffee goes. I'm going to be a regular for the drink!!! I got a maple doughnut and honey doughnut. My kids got the chocolate. The doughnuts were very good. However very pricey at 2.50$ each for a super small doughnut. 10$ for 4 doughnuts is too much for a regular occurrence. Perhaps a special occasion. But the coffee.... I'll be back. Tomorrow! read more

First of all, who doesn't like donuts?? Secondly who doesn't care about their health?? Well, seems like there's a solution. Ring Baked Tofu Donuts that is. On my quick visit back to California, I had to stop at this place that just happened to open. I was craving for donuts and here I am, at this brand new spot, enjoying the interior design, looking at their variety of donuts and literally driveling cuz everything seemed to look so darn good. I had to go with the gluten free double chocolate, earl grey and rum raisin. Every bite that I had was so flavorful and no doubt you can tell that it's freshly baked and healthy. Too bad I won't get to come back for a while but will definitely make another visit on my next trip to Cali. I want to share my experience with Ring Tofu Donuts. I live in West Hills and have been driving past this place for over 20 years and one day my son tried the donuts. After he tried them, he brought some home for me to taste. When I tried it, I thought, "Oh my God, this is so delicious!" They come in many flavors. They're fresh, light, also healthier and lower in calories than regular donuts. Some of my favorite flavors are chai, matcha green tea, ube, Earl Grey, and mint chocolate chip. They also have very good drinks. I have become addicted to their sea salt matcha green tea drink. The owner is amazing, and so are the staff. They are eager to learn sign language and make Deaf customers feel welcome. My husband and I are Deaf and the owner learned sign language to communicate with us. We love coming here. The service is great; I had a lot of questions for the employee about the drinks and what was the best one to try. He recommended the classic honey flavor donut and warmed it up for me. This is a quaint cafe and the workers were such kind people. They even humored me when I was inquiring about the grey racoon character in their cafe. This place a definite must try, and I lucked out coming when I did as I was able to try the maple bacon donut. That's a must have for anyone! read more

Never did I ever think... That donuts could be made healthy and still taste good. Well, I was wrong. These donuts are incredible and you all should give this small business a try. I will be back to try the many different varieties that they have. Well Done! read more

The Sea Salt Cream Ice Coffee is my favorite drink and the donuts are so delicious! My personal favorite donut is the chocolate chip strawberry, but there are so many wonderful varieties . Highly recommended and the owners Juliette and Gerri are the best! read more

Nice location, easy parking in front of the building, very helpful staff. But these are not donuts, they are cakes in a donut shape. No icing, glaze or filling which would be required for a donut. The cakes are fine in taste and texture. read more

I'm a fan for these donuts. I normally don't eat or like donuts for many reasons. However every time I go into the building I look forward to a donut and their cream sea salt ice coffee. read more

They just open today. Wow, they have baked tofu donuts. You should try Donuts Sundae and Seasalt Iced Coffee. It is so yummmy!! I will come back for gluten free baked tofu donuts. read more
