I was there last Saturday for a microdermabrasion facial and paraffin hand treatment, the person doing the facial was nice. I do understand that it's Covid and it hard to work person face but I am not really satisfied with my facial. I actually had more pimple now than before I came in. My boyfriend booked me a package as a birthday present, and it was probably the best present I have received in a long time. I get massages on a regular basis (or at least I try to, I work out a lot so it's a must) but this is one of the best I have ever gotten. Location: downtown Campbell, great location for exposure. When I went there was a lot of parking, so that wasn't an issue. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the front desk by my first name (I had an appointment and they were expecting me) and I felt comforted. The interior is so beautiful, probably the prettiest day spa I've been in. It's a mixture of contemporary design with a vintage Victorian feel. The music is a nice alternative soundtrack, but you have the option to listen to classical if that's for you. My massage therapist Amealia was AMAZING and really nice. She went through the hot stone massage process with me (it had been a long while since I got one) and she always asked me if I had any questions about the entire process. The massage itself was great and the stones were the perfect temperature. I was so relaxed I ended up falling asleep (and definitely started snoring lol). Time went by so quickly I had no idea 90 minutes went by so quickly, and when I was done my whole body felt so relaxed. Amealia made sure to remind me that I can get dehydrated after a massage and to drink a lot of water. For the rest of that day I felt pure bliss. It's been a rough few months for me and this massage really made me feel amazing, so it's without question I will be back, and hopefully a regular! read more

Ive gotten waxes and plenty of massages from almost all the therapists and they are amazing! Even Taylor who runs the admin side is great. Ritual Day Spa is simply amazing for rest and relaxation -----it is very clean, everyone is nice and welcoming, and I get just the best massages from Michele! She is very careful to give you just the right amount of pressure that you want and she is very good at working on areas that are stressed and tense---I actually feel light as a feather when I leave....like I am floating on air :) I understand the facials are also incredible here as well, but my body is more in need of massage right now, so I opt for that. This was a new place for us (Mom and I). We arrived first thing in the morning and honestly beat the staff there. No worries, we waited as they set up for the day. We had our massages in the same room, the masseuses were really good; both of us received a Swedish massage. Note: the music being piped into the room was extremely distracting, it was like a mellow current music. I really wasn't in the mood to listen to Adam Levine or Aerosmith in the middle of a massage - I should have said something to have it turned off and put on my phone. Next time. Last as we were checking out I asked to have our masseuses noted on our account and was informed they were fill in and she didn't know that they could get them again. this was my first and definitely not my last time at the ritual day spa! i treated myself to an amazing prenatal massage done by Michelle. The atmosphere was extremely pleasing. they play soft rock music (but have an option that is more common at most spas) which i absolutely loved. Michelle was absolutely incredible! she knows just the right pressure, not too soft and not too hard. I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. I e-mailed at the last second to see if they could get me in and the owner, Julie, was happy to accommodate me. Upon arrival my massage therapist, Amelia, was ready and waiting and after filling out a little information about me, she took me back. I loved the music and the atmosphere, and the room was spotless. Amelia let me know what the process was going to be like since I hadn't had a hot stone massage before and was really attentive to any needs I might have had. After my massage, the woman at the front desk did not ask me how I liked my experience at the spa. She was very rude and told me she would keep my credit card on file AFTER I had already paid. The staff here is so incredibly kind and welcoming, and the spa itself is very clean and inviting. I have gotten regular facials here for over two years now and it has not only dramatically improved the quality of my skin but it also completely changed my skincare routine. Julie, the owner, really prides herself on having an all star team and finding the best products for your skin. Taylor, the receptionist, always welcomes me with a smile and helps me find time when I'm in a pinch. Kelley really helped me kick my skincare routine into high gear when I first started going to Ritual and I still use a lot of the products she recommended. Absolutely love this spa. The only thing that sucks is the parking since it is in Downtown Campbell. I have been here twice already and each time the massages have been absolutely amazing! I have also received a facial each time but I am not sure if extractions should be done by hand. However, I did get the microderm facial the last time I went and that was the best one yet as it left my skin glowing and fresh. Had a great experience at ritual day spa. I got a 90 min deep tissue massage from Amelia and it was so relaxing. She checked on pressure, etc every now and then did her best to make me feel comfortable the whole time. I was running 5 mins late due to parking at Campbell downtown and the front desk was accommodative about it and didn't turn me down. I have been going to Ritual Day Spa for facials and massages for several years now. Each experience has been wonderful and I always look forward to my next appointment. The spa is clean and beautifully decorated and the staff are helpful and friendly. I personally enjoy the "soft rock n' roll" music, but if you want more typical spa music, all you have to do is ask! Birgitta is an excellent esthetician and my skin looks and feels great after each and every facial! She is also very personable, friendly, and easy to talk to. All of the massage therapists I have seen at Ritual have been attentive to my particular problem areas and have suggested exercises I can do between the massages to work on those areas. I messed up my foot on a long plane flight earlier this year and credit Owen's massages and recommended exercises with helping to get my foot back in working order quickly. read more

Julie has hit another home run with Ritual! Though this day spa has a totally different feel from her other awesome spot (Bloom in Los Altos), she has the same attention to detail that I have always loved. The interior is gorgeous. The dark wood, chandeliers, and textured wallpaper all create a very cool vibe. They play soft classic rock which is a departure from what you typically hear at a spa, but I liked that. And if you'd rather listen to something else, they can pipe in other music. I saw Julie for a facial, and it was amazing. I always just let her do what she feels would be best for my skin that day. My skin feels so smooth, hydrated, and is totally glowing (in a good way--not because she used a harsh peel like some places do). Let it be known, I am a man and I do get facials. Now that that is out of the way. I've had facials fairly regularly since my sister, an esthetician, needed a guinea pig to complete her program. That was probably about 10 years ago now. Fast forward to today and I'd consider myself well-versed in the qualities that make a good facial. This then leads me to my review of Ritual Day Spa. The location is most certainly new, but the staff is talented and professional. As an added bonus, the whole place has a cool vibe and aesthetic - Jimmy Hendrix being heard playing softly in the background. They carry their own white-labeled products and I purchased a few since they match some that work for me and that I've used before. All in all, I'd recommend a visit to Ritual. The sum total of the service and atmosphere is well worth a visit. I received a traditional service with a mask, extractions, cleansing, a head/shoulder massage, and aromatics delivered via oils applied to waving/undulating hands. Note: Parking can be a bit frustrating on busy weekends in Downtown Campbell as I unfortunately found out, but there is a garage two short blocks down from here. I used Amealia a few months back for some low back issues which helped a ton and and then again for a shoulder over-use issue. It had been days of pain and after an hour with her, my shoulder was almost back to normal/pain free. What I like about her and her style is she is gentle but knows when and where to put pressure. I am very sensitive as I suffered a spinal trauma years ago so I have a bit of anxiety about being so vulnerable in that area of my spine. Having that peace of mind that she will go easy and build up as necessary and with permission makes me feel safe. She is pleasant and very kind and I will continue to use her and recommend her to friends. read more

What an amazing first experience for a mother daughter retreat day. The staff here went out of there way to help make this all come together today. Courtney was such a pleasure to work with both in coordinating our treatments and in her personal attention to our needs as an esthetician for our facials. It had been a rough week for both my daughter and I mentally and emotionally and Courtney made special arrangements to bring in a massage therapist on a Sunday when they are normally closed just to help make the full experience happen. Yesterday was my 1st experience at Rituals and I had booked a long overdue facial and waxing and Kelly took unbelievably wonderful care of me. I had some surgery a few months ago and the professional she is, took the time before I arrived to make sure my requested treatment would not affect my post-surgery skin. That's being a professional, speaking as a professionally licensed person myself, just a different field. All procedures were reviewed, my medical issues addressed so Kelly could alter how some things were done as to not trigger a migraine. The salon is beautfiul, very clean and a serene atmosphere. The staff that I engaged with were attentive, courtious and pleasant. No one tried to force products on me and I did end up purchasing 1 item due to my love for Aveda. I have already set up a plan with Kelly and booked my next appointment for 6 weeks. Kelly is warm, friendly, professional and there's a soothing nature about her, important in her profession. There are a variety of treatments for anyone and anyone's price range. I am so fortunate I tried Rituals and even though it is quite a drive for me and I could go many places closer to my house, it's worth the drive for the satisfaction I felt yesterday and today. read more

I love love love this place! I started microdermabrasion with them and Courtney has literally changed my skin in the past few months.

So I've been twice, once for a back and shoulder waxing by Erin and again for a massage by Amealia. I have to say that both are super friendly and experts at their craft. Erin was fast and efficient and has been doing it for years. They use a roll on wax tool which I never experienced and I thought it was great. I've been getting waxed for years and never seeing these before, with covid they are great. After each use the roller is discarded and replaced with a fresh one. Speaking of covid, they follow all protocols and the office is clean as can be. Amealia, my massage therapist I had yesterday was great, being a therapist myself it's hard to find a good one, but there's no need to worry about Amealia, she's been a therapist for 10yrs and knows what she's doing. If you like deep tissue and getting fixed, she's the one to see!! The space it self is hip and has edgy feeling, with great music. After my Yelp review on my first experience here, Julie, the business owner of Ritual Day Spa, directly reached out to me. She was very understanding and sympathetic to my experience, as well as extremely professional. To make up for my previous experience, Julie offered me a complimentary facial. I contacted her about going, several months after we had chatted, and she was still very responsive and accommodating to my schedule. I got set up with Courtney who was super sweet! She really made an effort to make me feel comfortable, and she gave me a lot of great info about my skin. She was also very gentle with the extraction, while still getting out a lot of buildup. At the end of my facial, my skin was very smooth and radiant - ready for my trip to Hawaii! I also felt and feel more confident on how to take care of my skin, now that I understand it and am aware of different available skin care products. I actually bought skin care products today, based on Courtney's recommendations and just recalling what she used such as Vitamin C. Overall, my second time at Ritual was great! I had been going to Julie's place for years in Los Altos, Bloom Skincare, but was so excited to hear about Ritual in Campbell, which happens to be closer to my house. The service is the same as Bloom, impeccable, effective, and relaxing. The only thing that's changed is the name, location, and amazingly fun decor! I get both facials and waxing from my GO-TO gal Kristin, and cannot tell you how wonderful both services are, a true one stop shop!
