Very disappointed. I originally purchased my car from this dealership and it was my dream car and color. I lived in another city so I went to another Nissan dealership for maintanences. First issue is I (I know I'm not the most knowledgable car owner) noticed at 10,000 miles that my service light had never turned on so I went at 11,000 miles to the other dealership for my 1st maintenance. They in turn set my next service light to trigger at 16,000 miles. I return for my service at when the light came on. Again the other dealership set the next light for 21,000 miles and at that point I moved to Riverside so I returned to Riverside Nissan to get my service done. I had a difficult and busy year and was relying on my service light to turn on for my next service but it never did and I did not realize this. I had taken in my car for other various things and replaced my windshield twice and all but forgotten oil changes. Now I hear a rattle in my engine and I go to the dealership to be told I had gone too long without an oil change and the engine should be replaced and my warranty will not cover it. As a busy mom and nurse this dealership failed me by not resetting my service light not once but twice when I originally bought my car and at my 21,000 service. Now I have a two year old dream car of mine that is destroyed. I put my trust in going to a dealership for maintenances but they couldn't even do me the decency of setting the basic service reminder light. I should have returned to my other dealership for care for my car or even a non dealership bc I have never had this happen elsewhere. BEWARE future customers and buyers they will let you down and the damage is done at this point. So long Nissan I think I will have to scrap this vehicle and go elsewhere. I purchased a 2020 Nissan Rogue SV Sport on Friday night and had a wonderful experience. I've bought cars in the past and my experiences were OK, but this time I did not live with a headache after buying a vehicle. When I got there I was greeted by George Godoy and he already knew what I was intrested in, I was trying to choose between the Nissan Rogue versus the Nissan kicks. He brought both cars side-by-side and told me all the differences between both vehicles especially the safety features. As a mom, family a four, with 2 little ones safety was a big one for me, As well as heated seats haha. Consumers beware - dealership uses bait and switch tactics and they submit plenty of fake reviews on Google, Yelp is the only place that shows the true rating of this dealership. I went in here to potentially purchase a 2017 Honda Accord as the price online stated it was 20,895, which was well within my budget. However, when we went to discuss the numbers, they managed to add almost $5000 BS fees, such as $1895 7 year warranty (which I didn't want), $700+ dealer prep, $485 document fee and more. Just an FYI, the only pays you are required to pay are tax, title, and license fees. The person I spoke to made it seem like the document fee was state issued and that their dealership for NOT sale any car without a warranty. They were unwilling to take off the additional fees and negotiate, so I walked away. Good luck finding someone that'll pay $25k for a 4 year old car. If I knew all this beforehand, I wouldn't have bothered taking the day off from work to travel an hour 15 minutes. Do not waste your time with this place. read more

Where do I start... My wife and I have been shopping around for a new Nissan Leaf. While searching the web to see what was out there we came across Riverside Nissan so I requested some info on a leaf that they had advertised and received a call from one of their reps (Brenda Girard). I spoke with Ms. Girard over the phone and went over the particulars of what we were looking for and asked about incentives as well as offered to send info on our trade in and where it needed to come in for a deal to work. I emailed photos of the trade in along with other pertinent information to help her draw up as best a proposal as she could. The info and conversation were had around 10 AM. Fast forward to around 2 PM and I hadn't heard back from Ms. Girard so I decided to call to see if she had worked on my request. I was put on the phone with a guy named George Godoy that told me that everything was good to go and asked what time my wife and I could come in. I asked him multiple times what the proposals looked like and he told me that they couldn't discuss numbers over the phone but that he could tell me that he could give me more for my trade than what I was asking for and "hook me up" with some great incentives. I committed to come in and see what they had to offer figuring everything was on the up and up. My wife and I drove to the dealership where we were greeted by your typical squad of pushy car salesman and no one knew who George or Brenda were but they could help us. We made our way to the lobby and asked to speak with Brenda and she never came out however the guy I spoke to, George, did come out to meet us. I asked to see the proposals and was told that the manager would have to go over those with us to which we responded by asking to speak to the manager and George told us that we should look at what they had on the lot and suggested we look at the Nissan Altima because they had great incentives - remember, we were there to see the Leaf. My wife asked to see the car that was referenced on what we thought was a proposal and were taken out to see one of the many Leafs on the lot and George clearly had no idea if it was the one on the proposal we requested or not. We asked to speak to the manager again and were taken inside and asked to wait - by this time my wife and I knew we were clearly getting jerked around. I had gotten off of work early to get to the dealership at a reasonable time believing that proposals had been formulated in earnest to accommodate our request and after having arrived we quickly realized that we were being treated like regular assholes coming in off the street. My wife looked at each other and decided to leave. The piss poor professionalism and demeanor of this place is bad enough but when you couple that with the sleazy scumbag sales tactics that one would expect from a third rate used car dealership it only served to add gasoline to a pretty shitty mix. I would encourage anyone that is looking to buy a car to shop around elsewhere unless you are looking to have your time wasted and you are9 looking forward to being treated like a fool. In business there's a rule called "The Rule of 1 and 10" that states that for every positive experience a customer has they'll share it with one person and for every negative experience a customer has they'll share it with ten people - I'm hoping to reach at least ten people. We literally saw a poor lady that was picking up her Honda from the service department get harangued by a pushy salesman trying to convince her to "upgrade your ride" as she was making her way to the service department. read more

So, I came in with low expectations simply because I had my mind set on a different car I saw online in Fullerton. When I showed up though, Irvin Solis pointed me in the right direction of 3 potential options. I'm fresh out of college with baby credit and didn't see myself in a newer car because I was so used to driving my 05 Corolla with half a bumper(which was paid off), and was afraid of a big car payment. I even left to take a look at the other vehicle which was a 2008 Scion xD. Good car, but just couldn't get a co-signer, and then the rate they gave me was 24% APR for what they did approve me for. Irvin, and the management assisted me in narrowing my search and was very committed in helping me keep my payments to around $230 a month- which was absolutely perfect. I purchased a car from here in December. We went to a lot of dealerships in Riverside, and the experienced a lot of sales people & tactics. Nissan was the most uncomfortable. Other places bad mouthed their competition, or were overly pushy trying to get you to sit down and talk numbers. At Nissan, We found the car we were interested in, and took a test drive. Nissan wasn't like that- instead, you are hounded during the entire sales experience to give a "10/10" on the survey that will come. My experience took hours. The car wasn't cleaned or in perfect shape when we got it and It was missing items. But PLEASE! My income counts on it- anything less than a 10/10 can get me fired. Mentioning it 1 time fine. Explaining the gravity of how important the survey is to your job ONCE is fine, but don't say it a thousand times and basically plead. I recently visited for a check engine light issue, and $1500 later, I got my car back, unwashed and unthankful. Service advisor, says one thing and bills another. This review is for the Service department though... hehehehe Nick, Alfonso and Mike actually care about a customer and bent over backwards to accomodate me. I had purchased my vehicle from another dealership over 2 years ago (coming here first) but due to circumstances they were not able to assist me. However this location is close to my work so I have chosen to come here when I need it serviced and I am Happy to say that I am more than pleased at the consistent service I have received. My driver's side door cable snapped and I had to have it replaced... I was not a happy camper as this vehicle is just over 2 years old and the carpet was wearing thin as well as the upholstery was coming undone. They suggested I call corporate Customer Relations to get it resolved as the cost was expensive. I still have not heard from Nissan Corp for a resolution but Riverside Nissan started the repairs on my vehicle. (I was doing the Dukes of Hazzard General Lee entry into my vehicle... NOT F'ING CUTE!) Word to the wise if you need shuttle arrangements CALL ahead and be sure what the load is first because I was stuck there for almost one hour after dropping off my vehicle in the morning... I partly blame myself as there were about 10 people waiting for this courtesy. If your car needs to be serviced overnight and you need to rent there are a few rental places near the dealership and I think they offer discounts if you your car is being serviced at Riverside Metro Auto Group. I feel I have to share my experience yesterday 8/14/2018 around 5:51 - 615pm. I was ready to buy a car and I introduce myself to a very young salesperson. He was sucking on his lollipop the entire time. He never asked me for my name or asks the basic questions what is your budget? What type of car you like? What are you looking to buy? , Instead he was showing me what he likes still sucking on his lollipop, walking way ahead of me and not caring about my car Then, after awhile he said " oh what is your name? Seriously? , I told him my name he says "OK". That was my cue to walk away from Nissan dealer, I was on a budget and I was looking to buy something from 15-16.5K, I didn't want big payments. He looks at me and tells me "FOR THAT PRICE YOU CAN ALWAYS CHECK OUT THE HONDA'S"....Seriously? you are sending me to your competitor I was shocked about his entire approached during the short 15 mins I spend with this young guy. Here is a piece of advice from one professional to the sales person who did not help me and he was more concern about sucking his LOLLIPOP and talking at the same time. Where is the level of professionalism? 1) Do not disrespect a client by sucking on a lollipop and talking at the same time 2) Don't show buyers what you like instead focus on what the "buyer needs are" 3) Most important " address by name " and ask the buyer names, make it personal 4) Do not send your customers to another dealer ship like Honda" 5) Offer and talk about all the deals you are offering and all the good promotions.
