If I could give this place a zero I would. The gentleman who helped me was nice, I have no complaints of him. What I do have an issue with is that I have been serviced here twice and both times I said "I'm never coming back here". The first time was because my engine light was on and they informed me it was my transmission for a couple thou. Even with my warranty I would pay a grand out of pocket. I had only had the car for a year and I thought that was atrocious. They were obviously agitated that I didn't want it serviced by them and charged me anyways to have it looked at. Which was ok. I ended up taking it to another certified auto shop here in town who did it for almost 600 dollars out of my pocket cheaper. You'd expect the company you bought the vehicle from to take care of you better, but they don't. As for the second and most recent experience, under my car I had a shield that had a screw come off, I came in to have the bolt replaced and they told me they couldn't, but they could charge me for a whole new shield for 300$. Then told me other things under that needed replaced for a whopping 700 and some change. Funny how one thing could lead to that price. So, I declined the service. Got my car back and it had water spilled all over the floor? Went to another mechanic here in town and they fixed it for 50. These people don't care about you, and you can feel it as soon as you enter the office, they want your money and they want you out of their sight as soon as possible. I WOULD NOT GO HERE. read more

My Fiancé and I were shopping around for cars and we ended up at Riverside Nissan. Our experience was simply welcoming and easy to get not one but two cars. If you don't have good credit they help in finding a way for you to leave driving that new or used car I couldn't even tell my car was used it is very clean inside and out. Alejandro Tavares and two other guys helped us out, they were all friendly we had to take our kids with us and they even have a room for them to play with glass walls so you can be able to keep an eye on your little ones. Overall experience was great I would recommend this dealer. I give it four st About this Review... so I ended up in this dealer Riverside Nissan I was talked to purchase a car I didn't go for. I got 2 cars taken out. On Monday 12/20 I dropped off my Frontier for service due to a turn signal lever issue. I purchased the part from them and paid them about $400 and they told me they would fix it and replace it. When I receive my truck in the afternoon, the lever was still not working! It seemed like they only replaced it but did not fix my issue! NEVER going back to RIVERSIDE NISSAN!!! My new 2020 Rogue wouldn't start with flashing dash lights and message like Malfunction, System Failure, and other scary things. so, jump to the end of this ordeal, they have had my car for 24 hours, turns out to be the battery. Would have been nice if there was just a battery light. They had to look at it and now won't answer the phone. 11 minutes on hold for a battery. Busy or not. I bought my Honda Civic from Riverside Honda back in 2016 when I graduated from College. I just finished Graduate school this year and due to my type of work and profession where I would have to transport my clients occasionally and visit them weekly I wanted a bigger vehicle that was good on gas. I saw that Riverside Nissan had a rogue hybrid and I looked at it online and was very interested in purchasing it. I went early Saturday morning the 22nd of September and was greeted by Alejandro. Went here to get my Nissan an oil change and some other service. I've had a few problems I wanted to get looked at all at once and expected there to be a diagnostic fee, but my service advisor tried telling me that I would need to pay 3 separate diagnostic fees of $130 each totalling $430 after they added the oil change. That was just to drop the car off and have them look at it. I couldn't believe it! I was told that the diagnostic fees would would be applied to the repairs made, but it seems outrageous to commit to paying that much before anything had even been looked at. I asked the service advisor if that seemed reasonable to charge 3 diagnostic fees and got some sorry if wishy washy response. I decided to leave. I rolled the dice and went to Raceway Nissan across town and they are only charging me one $110 diagnostic fee to look at the entire car which I'm gladly paying. I'm incredibly disappointed in Riverside Nissan. I live within walking distance of the dealership and I this was the first time I tried taking my car there and I was really hoping I could trust them and use them in the future, but I can't trust them and that is such a shame. I said go ahead and judge me on astrology - it's not relevant in car buying ?? I did inform Orlando I'd thought his reputation and credibility is worth more than 300$. Only in car dealerships do you get a reverse bargaining in the opposite direction to antagonize the customer to leave. We are in the day and age of Yelp Trucar, Carvana - can we not do this?? I went online and scheduled an appointment to have my car serviced. I stated online that the engine light was not on but the car was racing when I stepped on the gas even a little. I wanted them to look at my car but let me know the cost before starting work on my car. I called and asked how much it would be and told them I would look around for a better price. They said they had already started work on my car! Also, no one called me when my car was ready. I called many days later and they said it would be ready in an hour! Did they forget about me? They finally quoted me a price and I stated again that the engine light was not on. When I went to pick up my car they had to look around because they didn't even know where it was parked! My car was really dusty as if it had been just sitting there for days. This really annoyed me because I had to borrow a car just to get to work every day! When I received the paperwork for work performed it stated that I had said the engine light was on. How can I trust a company who states something on my paperwork that is not true? Several months later I again had problems with my car. They stated they would have to charge me to look at the car and I agreed to the charge. They only drove my car around and did not do a formal inspection on the car even though I requested it. They noted that they could not duplicate the problem. They didn't charge for an inspection because all they did was drive it around. Now my car doesn't work at all! I do not recommend this place at all. I did not feel the company was honest with me about the repairs needed on my vehicle. I told them that and the service advisor told me if I felt that way I could take my car somewhere else! Instead of trying to help me they gave me a flippant remark! I will never recommend this company to family and friends ever again. I was a loyal, long-time Nissan customer. Along with my 2013 Nissan, I purchased a 2019 Nissan for my niece last year. My intention was to pass the 2013 Nissan to another family member. Service at this dealership is too costly. For example a full synthetic oild change service at Corona Nissan dealership is $69.99, but this Riverside Nissan charges $99.99 for the same service. When I showed them the price difference online, they just said every dealership's prices are different. That is of course true, but they should have matched the price, which they did not. Ok...nobody likes dealing with car salesmen and dealerships. I'm pretty much set in what I want when it comes to vehicle purchases. I was skeptical about coming to this dealership after reading the reviews. Starts with the phone call. The person I talked to was Brenda. We set up a time to look at a Nissan Pathfinder that I found on their website. Showed up to the appointment date and was told Brenda left for the day and someone would be there to help me soon. Enter Jeff! Jeff was a great guy. Easy going, not pushy, didn't try to sale me on anything. Tried to accommodate everything me and my wife needed. Pulled the Pathfinder around and let us look at it. This is my wife's daily drive so I let her drive it. I can tell she liked it so I let Jeff know up front down payment and monthly payment that I was looking for. Went and started the application. Enter Byron! Byron was easy going and doing what he knew to do...sell the vehicle. When it came back and looking at the numbers, they tried to push a Sentra on us. I have a 2008 Nissan Sentra that I purchased brand new. We needed something a little bigger. I have teenagers and other family that I transport. I said no. No Sentra. Back and forth a few times but finally the deal was done. A little more than I would have liked but given my financial situation, they were extremely patient with me and like I said accommodating. Financing! Enter Carlos! Great guy. Amazing service did what he had to do. Told us the ins and outs. Let us know up front what every single document was before signing it. Let us read everything. So in the end, we purchased a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder with extremely low milage. We are happy with our purchase and experience with the staff at Riverside Nissan. The actual price of the vehicle was $10,000 more than advertised!! When I was being hassled by the sales people, they refused to honor their advertised price. What a waste of time! Went in to get a quote to touch up some scratches on my truck, and after sitting in the service department for 10 minutes, I was asked to move my truck to customer parking and a person from the detail department would come out to help.... NO ONE EVER CAME... I waited another 20 minutes, I even checked in with the service department to make sure someone was coming out, and no one ever came... I will not be returning to Riverside Nissan. Reviews like this is one of the reasons I did not purchase my new vehicle from that dealer. I've been car shopping for a full size truck for some time now. I stopped here and test drive a Titan. The sales man was pleasant and I left to test drive other vehicles to see what I liked. 20 minutes later he sent me a photo of a price for the vehicle for about 33k 12k off of the msrp. I spoke to him on the phone and he promised me that the price he sent me was legit and I would qualify for the 0 percent financing. I back to the dealership and spoke to the finance manager. The finance manager basically told me the price they sent me not possible and basically added tax and license to the msrp and told me that was their best price. A week later I put in a Costco auto quote and was directed to this dealership again. I was contacted on several occasions by the receptionist and asked if I was contacted by their managers. I was not which surprised her because the managers noted my account that we spoke. She called me today and asked the same question. I told her no one has contacted me except her and she immediately connected me to her manger Cesar. I don't know much about Cesar because he had no idea why I was on the phone with him. The receptionist apparently just connected me to him without explaining who or what I wanted. He was pretty rude which is standard for this place. I guess business must be good because the managers treat the customers like crap. They'll do anything thing to get you to the dealership and then give you a crazy expensive price with a "take or leave it" to attitude. Maybe other people have had better experiences here but not me. My husband and I leased a truck a few years ago. Loved the truck and the experience. We went back to Riverside Nissan for a new lease on a new truck two months. We were told not to worry about the overage in miles because they would "cover it" as we were getting a new lease with them, not with another dealership/automaker. We took the new lease and drove away. Two weeks later we received a bill for $907 for overage in miles on the last lease. I called the dealership and left messages. No one called me back. I then received a notice and several phone calls from a collections agency. We ended up having to drive two hours in traffic back to the dealership to actually see a person. We spoke with the finance manager who remembered us (she didn't promise the overage write-off, a manager in "the booth" did) and promised she would do everything she could to help us. We spoke with her yesterday and she said her hands were tied and that she couldn't help us. Apparently corporate said "no," that they never cover overages and that the manager lied to us. The finance manager knew who the manager was and said she would speak with him. While she was lovely, we are still left for a bill of $907. Basically, the dealership lied to us to get what they wanted. We will not be returning; they cannot be trusted. read more
