I went to this dealership with my wife so we could purchase the Nissan Juke, We had already gotten the Financing approved from our own bank where my wife has her accounts. A sales man who was an older white gentleman walked up to me, I asked if we could test drive a juke, the first words out of his mouth "I don't know, can you afford one?" This is where everything could of gone wrong, Instead I stepped back and informed the sales manager, Christina Yiu. I went to buy a car at this dealership for the second time. My salesperson was Micheal Gonzalez. I was there 6 hours because I could not find the perfect car. Micheal kept looking and finally found it. I am very particular about the car I want and a very tough customer when getting a car. Yes, I am a pain in the rear, but I don't spend that kind of money lightly. He was very patient and kind. He did not seem to be annoyed, which I appreciated because I was going to get a great deal if it took 24 hours or go home without a new car. I was set to have it go either direction. I delt with them for awhile on price, interest etc, but got a great deal with some help from Tim Nguyen the sales manager. He got me top dollar for my used car and worked with me to get me a great interest rate. I also got a rebate on my new car. He gave me a printed paper with all the numbers written down so I could study it. I am a very visual and analytical person and need to see the numbers broken down or I won't even deal with it. The finance manager was efficient and explained what I was signing thoroughly and I appreciated her knowledge and effenciency. Jesse Saucedo spent time with me showing me about all my cars features and set up my bluetooth for my phone etc. He even threw in some free service calls and the car was not detailed to his perfection, so he is having me bring it back later in the week so it can be. I have a used 2010 Murano with an extended warranty that I bought from R'side Nissan. While on vacation we lost acceleration 3 different times going up a mountain (in very high heat). Made several visits to local dealer who told us each time they could not find anything wrong. Once home we took it to Rside and Mike the Service Manager knew exactly what was wrong with it (over heated transmission fluid so fail safe came on) and insisted that we fight Corporate Nissan for a new (on them) transmission. It took a week to get an appointment and about 20 minutes for them to say - yes that was the problem. I was given a loner car immediately and am awaiting the return of my Murano now. I brought my Rogue to this dealership for repair for a torque and transmission problem. I was really upset that it was only 4 years old and needed $4,000 in repairs when I had it serviced regularly and just put new tires, battery, air filter, and brakes into it. I worked with their service department - I think his name was Cheeto - and he was really friendly. I explained my situation and he told me if I could get it towed before they closed, they would be able to diagnose it that day. I left work early and had the Rogue towed only to be told Cheeto was gone for the day and there was no way they would look at it until the following day - if I was lucky. I was irritated that I drove an hour out of my way and left work early to not be helped but was glad they were going to help. Cheeto called me the next day and told me that the transmission needed to be replaced but he offered to submit my claim to corporate for their assistance program to cover 60% of the cost. He told me it usually takes a day or two for approval and that I could expect my car to be fixed and ready by the end of the week. I already had a rental car so I agreed and was relieved that they would work with me to cover costs. Unfortunately, corporate did not get back to the dealership with approval until a week later and while they did agree to help cover the costs, they did not offer a loaner car. They were not able to get a discounted rate of a rental car ($35 per day is outrageous when I negotiated $182 for a week with Enterprise for an Audi Q5) and they couldn't guarantee that my car would be ready by the following week so I opted not to move forward with the repairs. At the end of the day, I wasn't going to be saving enough when I am still paying for my vehicle plus needed to pay three times the amount of my monthly payment in just rental car fees. I found out when I came to pay for the diagnostic fee that the dealership had agreed to work with me even more and offer a larger discount for my repairs to make up for the rental car mishap but I had already signed the paperwork for the new car. While I greatly appreciate the level of customer service they tried to offer me, it was too little too late in terms of communicating this information and having my car available. As I realize it was not the dealership's fault it took so long for approval, I do think they could have done a better job at setting expectations. Had I known that it could take two to three weeks for my vehicle to be repaired and I was responsible for the loaner vehicle, I would have gone into the situation knowing my financial options better. Thank you to Cheeto for being so understanding and helping me but I hope the dealership re-evaluates their policy on loaners and improves their communication with customers. read more

I bought a Nissan Sentra in dec. 2016. So it hasn't even been 2 years. I regret it every day. Some things that I've noticed are outside of the scope of the dealership (like annoying placement of certain things that have nothing to do with the performance of the car), but so far, within a year and 3 months, my car failed to accelerate and basically only went up to 40 miles per hour. Took it and they said it was essentially nothing. Now, not 2 years from when I bought it and it struggles to turn on. Called and of course the diagnostic will run me $135 if the issue is not covered under warranty. It's not unreasonable. I get the policy. But it's the fact that I've owned 4 cars in my lifetime and this is the first time a brand new car gives me so many issues within the first 2 years. The guy who sold me the car was great. His name is James and he gave me a good deal. But I regret buying Nissan with every fiber of my being. There's been more issues I haven't listed but bottom line, I don't recommend Nissan, at least don't get the Sentra. read more

We went to riverside Nissan looking for 2017 Nissan Armada sales person and floor person where very pleasant and dealership is very clean . When it got to numbers this is when it got kinda ugly. They quoted my $8000 down $1490 @72 months with an interest rate at 9.99. Never have I paid 9.99 interest rate and after speaking to Richard the owner his interest quote via our conversation not on paper was about 5 point less to give a ruff estimate . We did have some negative equity and that was understood. Never got a clear picture of what we where paying for our new armada or how much our trade was worth. At the end we would be paying $115,000. Was never offered lease option even after asking floor person several times. Spoke to several dealership about my credit score seen I had a copy riverside Nissan provided me with. They quoted me at 2.41-3.99 @72 months over the phone .. Thank you Richard for taking my call and listening to my concerns . may not seem to you that your dealership attempt to take advantage was wrong. We never allowed them too! We walked away!! Let agree to disagree .The great thing about a buyer like myself is we can buy a car anywhere and expect to be treated fairly. Not someone trying to hit a home run on one deal. We will buy elsewhere and share our experience with everyone we know. First and last Hyundai I'll ever buy. First off, the WARRANTY We were promised (a huge reason we bought a Hyundai) that still had years left on it doesn't apply to second owners so we had ZERO warranty!!! Starter went out $400. Airbags turned off and all buttons on the steering wheel stopped working due to the clock spring in the steering wheel going out, yet to be fixed.. A/c went out, that was $500. Dome lights stopped working properly. Auxiliary doesn't work. Drivers side lock won't work with key fob. At one point literally all of the electronics stopped working (stereo, locks, lights etc.. replaced fuses TWICE and got those back on.. it's been nothing but a problem. I was determined to get a Santa Fe as well but glad I didn't. read more

We had the worst experience trying to buy a car with cash. We were told by the sales staff they price match (which per the sales staff has been done many times for his customers). We came to an agreement with the sales staff & put together the paperwork to be submitted for approval. After spending over 2 hrs test driving, paperwork, etc the loan officer rejected the offer saying they couldn't go that low even though he agreed they price match. I would NEVER, EVER recommend purchasing a car through this dealership! If you can't take their word when purchasing a vehicle what kind of service are you going to get after the purchase? I read the Yelp reviews of the various RMAG dealers before visiting the Nissan dealership, and was more or less ready for a negative experience. I will say that in the realm of car buying experiences, this was actually one of my better ones. I first corresponded/negotiated with Henri via email, received his quote, and brought it to the dealership, where they honored the price we discussed over email. Besides Henri, I worked with Jesse and Will, and I had no problems. They were friendly and professional, and not pushy, which would have been an enormous turn-off to me. They are salesmen, so there's going to be an element of "selling" and back-and-forth and negotiation, but it was reasonable and not off-putting. I have read other reviews where people have complained about the interest rates and that they require you to finance with their lender. I actually did go with their lender, and they were reasonable as well. If you are unhappy with the rate they give you, just refinance down the road with your own lender - I don't really see the need to get all bent about that. Before you deal with any dealership, you should know in advance what price you are willing to pay, what your trade-in is worth (i.e., what you can get for it from another party) and have an idea of what sort of interest rate your credit score will command. It makes the process easier, and you won't be wondering whether you are being taken advantage of or are getting a fair deal. If you are planning on buying an electric vehicle, or you already have one...beware that Riverside Nissan does not support the EV owner! The level 3 charger has been blocked by customer parking there, the dealership makes no effort in keeping it open for EV owners. And if you only need a little bit of a charge don't expect to use their level 2 chargers. They keep them locked 24/7 and usually keep them blocked with dealership vehicles! Totally disappointing at every step!!! I was asking all the right questions, but the sales person lied to me about how leases are structured and negotiated which cost me about $5,000. I know this because my son bought the same car a few months later with a lower credit score. They sell electric cars but their charging stations don't even work! When you try to call and ask for Nissan you get transferred to multiple other dealerships. I've tried multiple times to turn in the leased car but the guy that's responsible (Manny) wasn't there. I've driven over there once and called 3 times and he hasn't returned any of my messages. Tomorrow I'm parking the car in their lot and handing the keys to the girl who answers the phone. My wife and I went looking at a new Pathfinder. Talked to the salesperson and started talking about the price, they told me that they would pay off my existing car No gaines no losses. Started talking about the price of the new vehicle, and after some talking they told me they would drop the price $4000 Plus a 2000 dollar rebate, for a total of about $6,000. after skillful deception they did not pay off my car, and they charged me a $2000 difference for not paying off my car. Costing me a grand total of the $4000 that they said they took off the price. I'm pissed! this is not what we agreed on, and it is bad business. Do not do business with this dealership! read more

I'm from out of town traveling and my Murano was due for basic maintenance. I quickly booked an appointment online for the next day and it was honored and my vehicle was immediately in the garage. Gilbert was my service advisor and he immediately noticed that I like to take care of my cars and that I'm very particular... He made me feel like he was there to serve me and addressed my concerns. I asked detailed questions about my options of oil brands and weights and I told him I only like to run synthetic Mobile1 in my vehicles and he made sure the technicians respected my request without making me feel like it was a hassle. I figure if the oil is good enough for a $100k GT-R it should be good enough for my daily driver. The waiting room has a window where I was able to watch and confirm the techs brought out a case of the brand I wanted. They gave her a good car wash and while it took a bit longer I would rather wait for quality. It was much better service than the 3 Nissan dealerships in my home town and gave me peace of mind and service that is worth me writing a review to give my support and do my part to help give back some reputation capital to Gilbert and the tech. read more

My intentions were to trade in my 2009 Hyundai Sonata for a brand new car. Mind you, my Hyundai did have 180,000 miles on it and an estimated 9,500 payoff. This is what I was trying to trade in for a new car. (I had a negative equity, which is not a big surprise, but I was wiling to add that on to my new car payments). Initially I had gone to another dealership close by because they advertised what seemed like a good deal to me; long story short I ended up at Nissan of Riverside. I was immediately greeted and offered something to drink, which was nice because from all the questions and negotiations I had to make at the other dealership my mouth was dry. I felt very comfortable and didn't feel pressured to buy their product, all the sales associated were very friendly and attentive. I began looking at different cars and all I wanted was something with four cylinders that would be fuel efficient and with enough legroom. My sales associate, Frankie Mena was awesome; he explained everything thoroughly and seemed honest. He didn't pester me with trying to convince me to add all the extras on the vehicle and it only took about an hour for me to make up my mind and get all the paper-work done and signed. We were able to work out a deal with a 0% APR (because I qualified), and I brought home a brand new 2015 Nissan Sentra. Today, Sept 1, 2020, I had a 9am appointment. After telling the sales person my issue with the car. The guy at the counter says that a Multipoint Inspection will be conducted if need be. At 9:20 am , I was approached by another gentleman, that tells me it is a burnt tail light, and there is nothing wrong with the wiring. But, it will be checked under the Multipoint inspection. The bulb will cost, give or take $10.00 and car will be ready in an hour. It is now 10:50am, and I approach the service counter, and tell the same gentleman who told me my car would be ready in an hour, that I have to leave. I need my car. He leaves his desk to go into the repair area. He returns and tells me 10 minutes. It is now 11:20am, I re iterate again, i need to leave. At 11:30am, he is ringing up the paperwork, and tells me I owe $159.99. I asked how did this jump from $145, with a bulb costing $10? He says the bulb was in fact $13.00. I said, no way. You can not increase price after quoting someone something less. This is price gouging. The sales man, goes ahead and reverses some charges to lower the fee. As I am signing for the Multi point Inspection and the tail light light bulb, the mechanic comes rushing to the counter and says to me and the salesman that "the light bulb is not working. It's in the wiring"...Really, yet, you are charging me for the Multi point inspection and no one is telling me this, except "how will you be paying for this"? I tell both gentlemen, I have to leave. I have been in the facility since 9am. It is 11:30am. You have had ample time to make repair and perform the Multi point Inspection. The counter sales man tells the mechanic to give me my car and remove the tail light light bulb. I asked the sales man who is ringing me up "what am i paying for if supposedly the multi point inspection was performed and nothing was caught"? He took my papers and said "nothing. Absolutely nothing". I took my car and left. I will not return. Two point five hours wasted. Nothing was accomplished. Horrible, horrible experience. read more

Horrible customer service!! 2nd time I've taken my car here and it's like it gets worse every time I come. The overall dealership, but especially the service department dropped the ball so many times. I bought my car here in May. I noticed my maintenance light hadn't turned on and my car was already about to hit 7,000 miles. So I called the dealership and they said it should've turned on at 5,000 miles. I scheduled an appointment and told me it would take an hr and a half. I'm waiting and it's going 2hrs and haven't received an update on what's going on with my car. I go and talk to him and then tells me that one of the studs was stripped so they had to replace it another 30 min goes by and I go and talk to him again and he says the cars done and just hands the keys to the guy next to him and ask him to check me out. Now this fucken guy literally got the paperwork and just took me to the cash register and said not one word, not hi, nothing. If I remember correctly, you're supposed to greet the customer first and then go over what was done to the car. 2nd the printer at the register was broken so she would email me my service paper. Still haven't received it. Now to answer my question why the maintenance light didn't turn on, salesman was supposed to set that up when the car was sold. So I went over 2000 miles on my oils change because no one set it up. They put the little sticker up at the top of the window of when the next oil change was due and it said it wasn't due for another 10,000 miles now I knew that was wrong. Asked the service advisor and he was like "oh that's wrong, let me charge that". The service manager just sits on his and looks like he's taking a nap or something. Now I don't ever write reviews, in fact this is my first, but this place really pisses me off every time I come here. It's like I have to be double checking their work and then having them fix it again when I find a mistake. It's ridiculous. Also to add, they put regular oil instead on Synthetic when the car takes synthetic. My recommendation, DON'T COME HERE!!!!!!! read more

I inquired about a Nissan Versa via internet and sure enough I start getting calls from their internet sales manager Henri, I drive from a different Nissan dealer due to henri promising a lower price for a power package Versa. Every time I got a call from the previously mentioned manager, I would ask him about the power windows and locks and of course he would answer with what I wanted to hear so I can drive down. Needless to say I get there, I get greated and suppossedly get shown the car I was promised. It turns out to be a "base model" with hand-crank windows and no power door locks. The staff there is all about the money and what they can get from you. I feel sorry for the people that walk through the front door and really don't know how to buy a car. I solely purchased the car based on the price, which took almost three hours to establish . I initially attempted to purchase my car through the Internet Sales Department and it is very clear that this dealership does not have one.
