    Heart-Shaped Pizza with Pepperoni.
    Cindy Z.

Although I didn't get to taste the pizza itself, I made an order for a heart-shaped pizza with pepperoni ($22.95) to be delivered. This was perfect for Valentine's Day and they offered free delivery within 3 miles radius. In addition, they offer 10% discount if you order online. The pizza was about half an hour later than the intended delivery time, which got me a little nervous. They did reassure me it was on the way when I called to check. The pizza looked great and the boyfriend was happy.

Looking for a good pizza spot in bay ridge? Try Rocco's Pizzeria. I had their pan slice and buffalo chicken slice ( you can try it with or without blue cheese ). Gonna try the other slices next time. I like prefer their pan slice over chicken slice. My favorite snack is beef patty with cheese and pepperoni. It's my first time having garlic chicken knot. It's literally the perfect combo. You can get it with a side of marinara sauce. It's just so yummmy! They have amazing customer service!

They have a great grandma pie -- now that Grandma's is out of business, this is my go-to. Haven't tried a regular cheese pizza yet so that next on my list. In less awesome notes, Just ordered a chicken parm sandwich and pretty disappointed. There's like zero marinara on this sandwich, and barely any cheese. it's basically just a chicken cutlet on some bread.

I love this pizzeria and order from here on a weekly basis. Tastes lovely and quick delivery.

Favorite pizza spot in Brooklyn. I always get the grandma pie (la nonna) from here. It's perfectly baked and the crust is crispy and flavorful. The grandma pie has mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce, and top with basil leaves. I like it simple, so usually I don't add any meat/vegetable toppings. This pizza is so worth it. A total of 12 slices. Perfect for a family dinner. Well valued and makes everyone full. Remember to ask for plates and napkins. The staffs are great. I like their fries and garlic knots too.

Margarita Sicilian w/Bacon (and no tomatoes)

Ive been trying the huge variety of Pizzerias in Bay Ridge, and I keep coming back to Rocco's bc of their Sauce, which isn't sweet but a perfect blend of a smooth tomato flavor. Their Sicilian pie truly is the best, light with a big bite (Im sorry they stopped making their Oiled Sicilian, now that had crunch and was airy). They also have a very good thin Sicilian crust, which holds up broccoli rabe and bacon just fine! The bacon they use on their pies, just fantastic flavor, full bodied, and cut into little chunks. So worth the additional charge, it really kicks up the quality of the pie. I am disappointed that the mushrooms aren't fresh. I love mushrooms, and it seems like a pretty big fail to not be using fresh mushrooms, especially since their broccoli rabe and spinach is so fresh and delicious with a rich garlic flavor. Ive tried quite a few of their pies, whether regular crust, thin Sicilian or regular Sicilian (their best was Oil pan Sicilian!), along with various combinations. The salads are ok, no fancy greens. As much as I love Pasta Fagoli soup, I don't buy it from there. I tried it only once and it was more of a broth soup than the thicker soup I prefer. Their meatballs are Delicious! Whether I get them on the pizza, or as a hero, or as a side, they're just damn delicious! The dbl Cannolis for dessert are always crispy, filled with a creamy filling. A must have after a delicious pizza! I have been to, but not dined in yet, bc of my health. The place looks bright and clean and very welcoming. I highly recommend Rocco's more than any other pizzeria in Bay Ridge.

I highly recommend this place!!! Classic pizza was really good too and the waiting time is not long!! Thank you guys!!!

Listen, any restaurant that is still working in the community right now is worth a thousand stars. But besides that, the pizza was delicious! Totally worth the wait! You should definitely order and support your local businesses!

    Veggie Pizza

Decided to order a pie here because they sold dough and we wanted to make pizza on our own. We ordered a vegan pie which is basically a bunch of veggies with no cheese. What do you expect? Well sometimes the simplest pizzas can be amazing with secret ingredients either in the dough or tomato sauce. But this was your ordinary pizza so what could possible go wrong? Nothing. Maybe a tad too much on the onion but it was the normal. It's a plus that it wasn't too oily and the pizza was evenly coated with veggies. Their dough: our pizza came out great on our charcoal grill.

Had the pleasure of celebrating a friends birthday while enjoying a nice outdoor dining experience on their new deck. Such a cute layout and was spacious enough to accommodate six of us. We ordered the margarita pie and taco pie, chicken wings, shrimp fettuccini Alfredo, chicken Parmesan and chicken Francese. Being a frequent customer and usually taking the food to go (due to covid and of course restrictions to dining in)- the food was even more delicious eating it fresh with good company of friends. Love the deck, the food and the service!

Came here in the past and always a line out the door so didn't bother. Finally had a chance to try yesterday for late lunch with a friend when there were many empty tables inside, so no line and no waiting. We ordered a medium Margarita based pizza with pepperoni & roasted peppers toppings. We were really surprisd the pizza came out in less than 5 minutes after waiter served us our drink order. Upon biting into it, right away what popped up in my head is 'why is the pizza crust so soggy?' Maybe the knife & fork on the table should've been a dead give away. One saving Grace is the sauce does have a sweetness to it, not tangy like some other famous shop in the Village. And also the 2 toppings were tasty enough to save this dining experice. Before leaving the restaurant, asked our waiter about the crust, he said since restaurant wasn't busy, the kitchen had already pre-made the pizzas, so it was just a matter of heating it and bring it out, hence the fast service. Pro-tip: next time (a big if for this reviewer), one must ask the crust be 'well-done,' in order to get its texture to the desired degree of cripiness that one should expect from what should have been an iconic pizza place in NYC.

I tried looking up this pizza from Target Richfield for a review, but it sent me to the NYC location, so forgive me if this review is in the wrong thread. Anyway, wow. I've been to New York City and ate at the original Joe's Pizza. What an epic slice of pizza. Now back home in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the great white north of snow that never ends, I finally tried the frozen Di Fara pepperoni pizza from Target no less. Sorry Joe's, but this is on par with your pizza (if it was frozen). Dave Portnoy was right with his high review. This pizza is very good. The thick cut pepperoni, great basil, and the crisp chewy crust was excellent for a frozen pizza. Nice under carriage as well. I cooked the pizza at 480 degrees in an electric pizza oven for 10 minutes, and the result was very good. I added a drizzle of hot honey, and it was spectacular (okay, I also added some fresh picked jalapeños as well). The pizza was hot and melted in the center, and the crust was very crisp, but still had some chew. Wow. This was the best frozen pizza I have had. Bar none. New York, you spoiled me when it came to pizza. Now I can get a taste of New York at home. Great job! I may or may not eat the last 3 pieces currently sitting in the fridge before bed.

Dom has now passed but his legacy continues. I've always compared the then pie vs now. And like most things,, nothing beats the original. This is still a very good slice. Fresh mozzarella, a nicely thin crisped crust, sweet tomato sauce, and fresh basil makes this simple pizza taste great. The fried calamari also impressed. It tasted notably fresh--light, clean, and not overly chewy like pre-frozen versions can sometimes be. While I can't say for certain, it had that just-prepared quality that makes a difference. The Caprese salad was a great way to start the meal, with fresh tomatoes, creamy burrata, and a balsamic drizzle was a nice light start. The atmosphere leans old-school Italian, which adds to the charm and character. Service was fine--nothing remarkable, but no major issues either. That said, my overall rating takes a big hit solely for the restaurants ridiculous tipping policy choices rather than the food itself. The automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill was frustrating. The menu does indicate that 18%, will automatically apply, or will be 20% for parties of six or more. We were only three people, so it felt inconsistent and unnecessary. On top of that, the added cost for credit card usage didn't help. I don't mind tipping for good service! In fact, I tip well--but I prefer having the choice and I'm old school so it's the principle of the matter. Being forced into it, takes away from an otherwise enjoyable meal. Bottom line: the food is strong and worth trying, but the billing practices leave a bad taste. If those were adjusted, this could easily be a higher-rated experience.
