I had my birthday celebration at Rockefeller's. My lovely wife invited about 30 of my friends and relatives. The wait staff was attentive and courteous. They were very kind. I was impressed with the service of other people who were in the restaurant. I noticed their attention to them as well. The food was delicious and tasty!! My Prime Rib was tender and delicious. The service was great but the prices are absolutely crazy PLUS we were charged an "operation fee". I think they need to rethink their overall business strategy. This place charges Downtown prices for Strip mall service. There is a Musty smell as you walk in. Our tabletop was loose and wobbly. The hostess wore Sweatpants & Dingy boots. Spur of the moment decision. We came out from Bolingbrook to Mancari car dealership and ended up here for dinner. Christine was wonderful as our server and was excellent! We ordered the shrimp cocktail which had 4 jumbo shrimp perfectly prepared in a tangy cocktail sauce. We also had the perch with a lemon caper sauce and sautéed fresh spinach. My husband and I came here for our 1 month wedding anniversary. We originally planned on going to Longhorn (thankfully, they didn't take reservations and our table wasn't even ready til we're halfway into our dinner here), so we looked at other options nearby and saw that Rockefeller's had seating available on OpenTable. Our server was sweet and attentive, and we were given free bread. She brought out the dessert platter at the end, and we both looked at it with heart eyes but was really full from the dinner but will definitely be back another time to try it. My husband ordered the Rockefeller burger along with the lobster mac and cheese. I ordered the 16 oz strip steak with fries and the house salad. We shared the crab cakes appetizer, and they brought out bread and butter for us twice. We wound up here at the last minute without researching first, it's a steakhouse but neither of us eat red meat or a lot of seafood. We both had chicken, the half baked chicken (slightly bigger than a cornish hen), and greek stuffed breast with potatoes which was over salted. The stuffed mushrooms we sent back because they were served cold, yes the cheese was melted but the mushrooms themselves were cold inside. The Caesar salad dressing was a little heavy on the anchovies with a fishy taste. Overall, the best part of dinner was the french onion soup but that alone doesn't justify the over $200 tab for two people, for a strip mall restaurant with valet parking attempting to class it up. What a nice establishment with good food, amazing customer service, and the space was very modern. The restaurant in the northeast corner of the strip mall located next to Jewel's grocery store. There is plenty of parking in the front and in the lot. When arrived, the hostess was very pleasant and walked me to a table in the bar area where my friend was seated. They offer $10 martinis and if you don't see one on the menu, the bartender Nicky will make it for you. The owner Nick came to our table to introduce himself and asked for any feedback, as he took over this place from Louie's Chophouse and upgraded the bar. Very nice establishment. We ordered the seafood tower and it was amazing, large clams and oysters, grilled spicy shrimp seasoned to perfection, and calamari and clams. All tables are white tablecloths with real napkins and silverware. All of the staff was very personable, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had quality service. The menu offers many things I would love to try i.e. mini crab cake sandwiches, salmon, sea bass, steak/lobster tail, etc. The menus are paper so that they are easily recyclable due to COVID. The bar area has about five or six large-screen televisions which would be a great area to watch sports. The restaurant also offers a private room for any events. The restrooms were clean and offered hand sanitizer and paper towels versus the hand dryer. I will definitely be back. read more

The brunch menu looked really good; didnt realize it was $55 dollars a person, that included nothing but cold pasta, cold chicken, one person at a really busy omelette station, that price didnt include any beverages, over crowded. We went to the buffet, didnt ask our waitress for anything, water was at the table, yet they added a 20 percent gratuity which I would gladly have paid had we had any type of service. I don't know what happened. Rockefeller has a menu that mainly consists of surf n turf. I've been here twice & tried to give this place a chance but they failed to meet my expectations. On my 1st visit under the name Rockefeller, I ordered a chicken dinner. The meat it self had a reheated, foul smell & taste. It was served hot, but it was not fresh. The staff was made aware of it & they were pretty apologetic but did nothing about it. I went alone for lunch recently & the place was empty in the middle of the afternoon. I still waited over 25 minutes for bread & butter to come to my table. My appetizer Koyester Rockefeller took another 25 minute & my meal another 30 minutes. The dining room was infested by knats & fruit flues so I was very bothered waving small knats out of face every 2-3 minutes while I waited for my steak. Unfortunately, my ribeye came out over cooked when I requested it to be medium. I refused to wait another 30 minutes & at this point I was starving. I paid for my oyster Rockefeller & left. I couldn't enjoy my dining experience! IlNot only was I being harassed by knats flying in my face but it was torture to have to wait over 45 minutes during the lunch hour when the restaurant was totally empty.
