We went here for a family gathering. They had 3 tables reserved for approximately 30 people. We walked in and they showed us to the table. The place was pretty busy and people were having a good time. The dinner was setup for family style which started off with bread and soup, salad, mashed potatoes, veggies then the main courses. We weren't sure if our son who has allergies was able to eat the food so we asked the server. The soup, bread was a no. The salad yes, but not the dressing. They did give him vinegar and oil. The chicken and beef we weren't sure so we ordered him a steak and mushrooms with a baked potato. The server was very helpful with helping us with our questions. When the food started coming out, a new server gave him the soup and the server that helped us warned us that he couldn't have it and I truly appreciated that. They come out with soup in a metal bucket and they ladle the soup into our bowls. The soup was ok but it was cold and the pasta noodles were mushy. The salad was good and the ranch was homemade and was tasty, I wish it was a little more thicker. The mashed potatoes were just ok and were cold as well. The veggies were not good, cold and could use some seasoning. The bread was the star for me. It was nice and crisp on the outside and has melted butter. I wanted to eat it all but I'm trying to cut down on carbs. The pasta had sausage and chunks of the sausage went into the sauce, the chicken and London broils looked good. Overall, the service was good. The bread and salad was good. The soup could have been better is hot and firmer pasta. Mashed potatoes had potential but it was just ok, pass on the veggies. And the meat appeared like it was good. My son's steak was cooked as desired and said it was good but the sautéed mushrooms were missing and we didn't really bother to ask for them. Being with family was great and that's what mattered at the end of the day. But if we were ever to come back, family style is an easy pass. read more

This place is equivalent to a diner at best, with horribly snarky and rude servers, who really don't care about getting your order right! A "Steakhouse" it is NOT! The food is mediocre, in all regards and service is horrendous. Salads are watery, soups are salty, baked potatoes meh, service is rushed and INATTENTIVE. The steaks are not cooked to customer specification and beef quality is POOR. We've never experienced filet mignon with the amount of tough, inedible gristle these steaks contained, or a waitress who didn't bother to check on diners, after steaks were cut and tasted....egregiously unacceptable!! Customers should not have to solely rely on busboys for service when paying these prices. Overall, Jenny's "Steakhouse" was a HUGE disappointment, from beginning to end!! read more

I do love Jenny's because of their booths , very cozy and kind of private which is great for conversation. The staff is great , friendly and professional. My only issue is that on two occasions the food was not good. My chicken wasn't fully cooked and another time my burger was very dry. But other times food was really good. Went for Easter Brunch- 3 of us. The food was scarce, cold and not very good at all. The deserts and cake were empty anytime we went up there. Me and my husband had one blood Mary each- our bill was almost $300!!! We hardly ate- the food was that bad. My wife and I attended a Christmas party this evening and while the wait staff was very attentive, the food itself was severely lacking. A family style dinner was served, featuring cream of chicken soup, a salad, baked chicken, strips of steak, pasta, with sausage, dressing, mashed potatoes, broccoli, Carrots, and green bean mixture. The steak was super tough and dry, the broccoli was next to raw, the dressing was one big tasteless blob. The soup, however, was delicious. I never ate the salad, nor potatoes. The sausage in the pasta was just OK. The chicken was very good. The price paid, $32 per person, while not super expensive, seemed a bit much for the quality, or lack thereof. read more

This place was delicious only I was here under sad circumstances The noodles and pasta was delicious with them offering buttered noodles for children . The meal was serviced family style under the circumstances with the services working very hard. There were enough tables and it was a nice comfortable atmosphere. My mom and dad really enjoyed the prime rib! Looked delicious! I should have gotten that. I was very unimpressed with the Gambriano Italiano. The noodles were cooked to perfection. The Italian sausage was good. But sautéed chicken should not have char marks. It was dry and unseasoned. The online description said nothing of the zucchini which should be left out. And the potatoes were mixed in and soggy. The crispy part of the potato I did get was great. They don't mix well with noodles! The sauce is described as having garlic in it.... I didn't taste it. We went there for our 54th anniversary. My steak was grizzly. I got a was burned. I asked rare. The food is gross!! The bathrooms are gross. everything here is just a mess!! The Salad is completely watered down and tastes like your eating dirty grass, The pasta taste like it was microwaved, the mashed potatoes are so disgusting I don't even have anything that can describe it. This was not our first trip to Jenny's but it might be our last for awhile. Today's experience was mediocre at best. Service was very good, nothing wrong with that. Our server was attentive and polite. I ordered the T-bone which was cooked at exactly my medium rare request. Unfortunately, the char marks were more than that, they were burned lines from a dirty grill. The charcoal taste overwhelmed what could have been a fabulous steak. My husband said the men's room smelled awful, like sewer water after a bad flood. You would think that management would review the appearance and condition of the erst rooms before opening and regularly throughout the day. Went there after my brother's funeral. Not enough seating for family of funeral party. Many people left. We ended up getting seated in bar area where my 3 year old grandson(who didn't have a chair to sit in) was screamed at by some random ladies because he went near the video poker games. These two women were so nasty and vile that my daughter ended up leaving with her son. our entire table left after an hour of not being served and feeling like we weren't able to communicate with any of our family during the funeral reception. If Jenny's is going to advertise that they host funeral receptions, they should have seating for the entire party. And they probably should close the doors to random, nasty, ladies that want to take up seats during a funeral reception they aren't a part of, and scream at toddlers. One of the worst experirnces I've ever had in my life. If you don't want toddlers near your video poker games maybe should provide a seat for him. Classless!! read more

The food was fantastic. We met here after the funeral of my mom. They did a great family style dinner. The service was good. The lady serving soup was not very pleasant, but our server was sweet. Don't be fooled when they bring the soup out in a pail. We had cream of mushroom, and it was fantastic after you added salt and pepper. We had soup, salad, chicken, and roast beef along with roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes with gravy. It made it so easy to have a meal with everyone. I would recommend this for sure. read more

We've been to Jenny's several times for funerals or banquets of some sort, but never actually came here for a meal. Finally, on a Friday evening, we decided to eat dinner at Jenny's. We ordered drinks, a Guinness and a Vodka Tonic, then looked at the menu. Nice surprise, The Weekender for only $50 for two people. An appetizer, 2 main course, 2 cocktails or a bottle of wine. Nice! We selected fried zucchini for the appetizer and prime rib for each of us. Our waitress pointed out that our previously ordered drinks were not eligible- only house cocktails. Ok, we ordered wine. That, too, was restricted to house wines. We chose the Riesling. (Very sweet and not the best wine by far. ) Fried zucchini: a huge plateful! Enough for a family dinner. Unfortunately, by the time it was cool enough to eat, the breading was mushy and falling off. Prime rib: a generous thick cut. But tough, chewy and flavorless. We both brought almost the entire piece home. I used that meat to make beef stew the next day and it was great after cooking for a couple of hours. I did really like the double baked potato. Decided to go out and try jennys steakhouse. I was there awhile ago and remember it being good. Went back tonight and the food was great. The service not so much. The waitress we had was not very attentive and did not ask us how anything was and failed to check up on us several times but she was able to check up on the other table multiple times across the room. At the end of the meal had to ask her 3 different times for to go containers and the check. She was complaining that the restaurant was super short staffed tonight.... The busboy who was working tonight (4/12) on the other hand was excellent. He was running out waters to tables, taking empty plates and we saw him more then we did our waitress. We will be back for food but if the service is this way again it'll probably be the last time we come unfortunately. read more

And oxtail soup which is great when dining in I got home ribs were great and the shrimp was great but my oxtail soup was missing the oxtail. lots of veggies but not a oxtail. usually when I pay over $80 dollars I think a oxtail would be in the soup.
