Rockstar Pro Movers provides excellent communication and response prior to the move. Responding quickly to quote requests and follow up questions. One of my main concerns when hiring movers is the tendency to get their day's worth of pay regardless of the size of the move. I expressed my concern to the company ahead of time and they seemed to offer reasonable responses. On the day of the move, they arrived at 9:30 on an 8 to 10 window. Upon arrival, they informed me that they don't move appliances. They are "household" movers not appliance movers. They asked me to sign a waiver saying they weren't responsible for damage to my appliances such as TVs and printers. I had zero choice but to sign. I needed to move on that day and feared it would be difficult to book anyone else. I was living in a small two bedroom apartment: I have three beds, one sofa, one small refrigerator, one small washer and dryer combo and Two small bookcases and one dresser. I moved the bulk of boxes prior to their arrival. There were maybe 10 medium sized boxes. They took 6 hours to move. Charged me 800. Then they removed my sliding glass door at my recently purchased townhouse without asking. Assuring me they would replace it when they were finished. They did. They reinstalled it backwards and broke the sliding screen door. Then tried to tell me a) they weren't responsible b) it want actually broken c) that maybe a "maintenance" guy could look at it. I haven't heard from anyone yet. Update: the company provided a very reasonable resolution. read more

We moved from LA to Houston. We just needed someone to load our truck (used U-Pack). Every mover we came across had crazy reviews, scams and when I called I couldn't get a straight answer. I was getting frustrated and it got to the point where I was just considering calling some of my homeboys out here and loading all of the stuff ourselves. I told myself, "You have to trust someone eventually so just go with your gut and hope for the best". We booked rockstar movers and they showed up early. So early, we weren't prepared yet (UPack hadn't arrived) lol. That didn't stop them. They helped pack every single thing we had out. Asked us questions about what needed to go where and they were even creative when we didn't have enough blankets to make sure everything was safe and packed tight. Once U-Pack arrived, as we were helping the driver pack, we turn around and looked and our movers were already downstairs with boxes, ready to load. They got the ramp off the truck, understood we only had 13 feet of the truck to work with and packed everything right and safe. They were efficient. They were careful. And they even helped us set up the UPack wall divider and locked it after we were done. I wish we could've used them in Houston to unload but obviously that wasn't an option. If we ever need anything to move again, we're going with Rockstar. Besides their musty armpits, this move couldn't have been any better. They put all of my worries at ease. Thank you. read more

I booked this company over a month ago for a cross country move and they have yet to ship my possessions. They didn't even tell me the shipment wasn't going to be delivered in the window until I followed up. They still will not give me a guaranteed date of delivery and even though they are meant to refund you per day of delay they will not respond to emails to explain how or when this money will be returned. I also shipped several large plants with them that have since sat in an LA warehouse and almost certainly be dead, hence a huge waste of money to ship. Honestly I'm not sure if I'll get my possessions back given this behaviour. After paying more than $3k for a move this is shocking service. read more

This weekend the Rockstar Pro Movers team helped my wife and I move, and I was incredibly happy with the experience. In addition to being on-time, and professional, they moved with a great sense of urgency and purpose thought the day... something you don't often find with movers. I'm the kind of guy who does as much of the work as possible before they arrive... everything is neatly packed in boxes, all the furniture is broken down, and anything that I can move to thee new house myself in advance... I do. Movers have a tendency to take their time, no matter how much you do in advance - and since they're on an hourly rate, who can blame them. But, these guys moved quickly, and didn't sacrifice quality. Nothing was broken or scratched, and they were in and out (including travel time) in a shockingly fast 6 hours. Not bad for a 3 bedroom house! I also found them to be friendly and easy to give direction to, but they were also easy to trust on the day of. you could just tell that they knew what they were doing. I also think they did a pretty good job of observing covid-protocol. I never felt unsafe. I would happily book these guys again, and definitely recommend them to friends and family. 10/10 read more

We tried moving on our and it wasn't an issue from our first story house, but coming to a smaller condo in encino in the second floor was! Could not get up all our furniture up the stairs, and while we were moving we realized we didn't need half of it lol. We called rockstar pro movers to see if we can have help unloading our truck and they send Eric and Roma the next day! It was amazing and well worth the $89/3 hour minimum fee. Used yelp again to help reach out to four moving companies to help unpack my items this time. I believed they were the first to call and respond. I went with them because their price was mid range. I gave them four stars because the service I received from the moving company I used to pack me up was top notch and made it pleasant for me. We were schedule for 2-5 pm. The company requires a 3 hour minimum regardless if you need less . 2pm on the dot no movers and no phone. I had to call them so for me that missed the mark for me on customer service. The lady that set up my appointment for me told me she will call them. They called me to let me know the would not arrive until 330 pm. With the extra time, my partner and I decided to line the apt floors with movers paper since we had to protect the halls of the common areas leading up to our apt. The movers arrive around 3:15 pm . The main person in charge offered to add himself as the 3rd guy to help us move for an additional 15/hr. We agreed to add him so it will be faster. Compared to the first company I used, this one did not treat my items as if it were their own, but they got the job done! 5 pm they finished but I felt they were rushing us as if we were going over our time. So I wasn't sure if they were timing us for 2 pm when they were late. I thought we had 3 hours ? I asked them to help remove the lining off the floor since we are using them for three hours but two associates already got into their car and left. The guy in charge seemed annoyed he had to help us with the removal of lining of the card board off the elevators and the common areas of the apt alone but we did pay for three hours and only got 1.5 hours of service . Overall service was quick and efficient. He assembled the furniture quickly and they put all my boxes and furniture were they needed it to be. Price is reasonable no damage was done so I am happy ! read more

I had a 2 Bd townhome that i was relocating to Miami... so during the choosing process First i go back and forth with multiple companies to see who wanted my business , Rock star told me a 21 day delivery window... so I'm thinking this is the best i can find so let me schedule it early, so around end of 1st week of November my stuff would arrive... I scheduled to ship my stuff to Miami on 10/19/20 ... i check on 10/30/20 to see the status, they tell me my delivery window doesn't start until November 1st !!!!! meaning i would receive my furniture around the 21st... WTF!! it is now December 1st and i still don't have my furniture. For that company to leave my home furniture in a warehouse for over a month before delivering it is beyond me. Not knowing the cleanliness of where it was stored, and why it was stored for so long. they had the nerve to tell me when it was ready to ship it would only take 3 days to deliver, i waited a month an a half for a 3 day truck drive y'all ... DO NOT USE ROCKSTAR PRO MOVERS!! I cannot stress this enough! Rockstar Movers lie, have terrible communication, and are overall extremely unprofessional. We were moving all our stuff from California to Arizona. I was told the truck and movers would be there Monday between 8am and 10am. Even though we paid for the "White Glove" service where they disassemble and pack everything for us, we still had most of our stuff packed in boxes ready to go for them. By Noon on Monday no one had showed up. I called asking for an update, I was told I would get a call right back - No one called. I called again at 4:00pm, again with a promise someone would call me back - No one called. I called at 5:00pm and was told the truck will be there the next day. No apology, no reason why they didn't show up, just they will be there Tuesday between 3:00pm and 5:00pm. They did show up on Tuesday, so we made our way to Arizona. The Rockstar contract reads that they will call you and confirm you are available to receive your items. Once they do that the truck will arrive 3-4 days later. We received that call on a Saturday. We were told the truck will arrive to drop off our stuff by Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest. Wednesday came and gone and no truck came. Still no truck by Friday, so I called and asked for an update. I was told I would get a call right back - No one ever called back. I sent an email asking for an update on Saturday hoping I would get a reply on Monday. No reply. I called on Tuesday (one week after the truck was supposed to be there) and the trend of someone telling me they would call me back and never do continued. To jump ahead...2 weeks after the truck was supposed to arrive and after many calls and emails, I received a call from Brian, apparently a manager, at 9:00pm at night. He apologized and didn't understand why our stuff was put in storage and he would absolutely call me to confirm a date our stuff would arrive...HE NEVER CALLED BACK! When our stuff finally arrived 18 DAYS after we were told it would arrive, they only has one local guy to unload, and reassemble, all our stuff. He was a nice guy, but 1 guy to unload a and reassemble a 2 bedroom house?! He would have been there working for 2 days if myself and a friend would not have helped unload. (So much for the "White Glove" service!) Rockstar Movers lie, have terrible communication, and are overall extremely unprofessional. DO NOT USE ROCKSTAR MOVERS!!! read more
