My husband and I decided to go to Rocky Mountain Grill for brunch Sunday. It was fantastic! From the good dinner coffee to friendly and prompt service to, of course, the food. We decided to go for and split the Scooter and boy were we pleased with that decision. The food came out quickly and was of the highlight quality, from the biscuit to the gravy to the side pancake. All of it was perfect, even the side of grits. We will be regulars going forward. read more

Stepping in, with soft country music playing, this restaurant transports you away from the city into a country kitchen. When the staff greet you, you feel like you have gone home to the family kitchen. Their friendliness was evident too all customers - both new and regulars alike. The food is well priced and healthy portions are an understatement. This is just the kind of food I like for a breakfast. Pancakes large and fluffy, eggs just how you order them cooked with gravy that has the just amount of peppery base-- all piled high on your plate. Everything is delicious and the staff is absolutely wonderful! This place has a hometown feel. The owner even came out to make sure my experience was perfect. You will not be disappointed. I arrived just as they were about to close one day after a long day of showing homes and they insisted on feeding me regardless of their schedule. I love this place! I think they have some of the best breakfast & prices on the north side of the metro. Their pancakes are delicious and gigantic! My dad was born & raised in New Mexico, and is very picky about his green chili sauce, and loved the food so much that he bought a jar of the sauce to take home & cook with. We drove from the north side of Edmond to try this place based off the reviews. Because we wanted to try something new. The customer services was great our waitress checked on us occasionally. The atmosphere was very relaxing and very mom and pop kind of feeling. But the food was very plain and my biscuit and gravy had way to much pepper and looked like it had been sitting out for awhile. My husband ordered the smothered burrito he said other then the sauce the burrito was plain and no flavor to it. The green chili sauce over took the burrito. The coffee and water was great. I wouldn't make the trip back over there from the north side of town but it was nice to try something new. read more

Been in the Okc region for about 6 months and can't believe that its near impossible to find green chili smothered breakfast burritos. I seen a review that mentioned Rockie Mountain Grill and green chili so I just had to try it. Both my girlfriend and I had the smothered breakfast burrito and thankfully it was smothered with real green chili, (not some green taco sauce or salsa that a few places have tried to pass off on me. Now I wont sit here and say it was the best green chili in the world, but it was authentic and certainly the best I've found in the okc metro. The food was probably a three star, but the service and price added an additional to make it 4. Glad we found this place and we will be back when we need a green chili fix. read more

We live nearby and eat here often. I think Scott does a great job and turns out some solid, home-cooked meals. I've eaten many of his breakfast burritos, which you can stop in and grab faster than any fast food place, and are far superior in flavor and size. All of the breakfast items I've had are consistently good, as is the green chili cheeseburger. Glad to have a non-chain option close by. read more

I was visiting my brother and he wanted to go here. Am I glad we did! This place is phenomenal! The food is straight-up American dishes and absolutely fantastic. The service was incredibly fast, in fact, I don't know how they cooked my food so fast. I like my eggs WELL done and it didn't seem like they had time to cook them it was out so fast. The atmosphere is fun and interesting. They have lots of fun signs around the place with cute sayings on them. If you want good, down to earth, American food, give this place a try. YES! It is currently closed but like a Phoenix, it will rise again and I expect it to be as good or better than before! Drama aside, I was blessed to visit this restaurant before it closed its 2nd and Coltrane location. My wife follow the Facebook page in anticipation of its reopening. Why? Because you are served by people who remember you after 1 visit (no promises) and serve you as though it is their pleasure to do so. One of the absolute best "Mom and Pop" places ever. We go regularly and are on first name basis with these folks. Scott and Tammy will certainly take care of you. The specials are always my favorite as they can be off the wall things like entire platefuls of ChiliMac, Western Burgers topped with bacon and pulled pork, or even endless beans and cornbread. The regular meals (Brian's Special, and Chicken Burrito, etc.) are also solid options. Don't forget the pie though, my 2 year old will not leave without getting her pie and making sure Scott watched her eat it even. read more

Very nice place to eat. Service is great, everyone quite friendly and personable. As for food, is was tasty, filling and I enjoyed it. However on the downside the gravy was not hot, just warm at best, and the green beans were barely warm. While the food was good, I would have to say it should have been hotter and my enjoyment of it was not as good as it could have been. The also have homemade cinnamon rolls that were really good and were served hot with lots of butter. Yum! Overall, I would say I really like this p lace and will be back.
