The flavors are bold, well-balanced, and clearly made with care. The mayo and thick soy sauce combo absolutely hits. It's rich, savory, and perfectly complements the food without overpowering it. You can really tell they know how to get the sauces right, which makes a huge difference. I've ordered from here multiple times through DoorDash, and the quality has been consistent every single time. The food arrives fresh, well-packaged, and exactly as expected. No disappointment, just solid comfort food done right. Zero stars if I could. What I witnessed at Roll Call yesterday was one of the most disgraceful displays of profiling and cruelty I have ever seen at a food establishment. A quiet, peaceful, unhoused young woman sat near a young woman without disturbing a single person. Out of basic human decency, the young woman offered to buy the unhoused woman a meal. She walked her to the counter, placed the order, and paid -- the staff took the woman's money without a word of objection. Moments later, a security guard was called to remove the unhoused woman for allegedly "disturbing the peace." She had done absolutely nothing. This was a fabricated excuse to remove her solely based on her appearance. When the staff and manager were confronted -- who had been sitting right beside her the entire time -- he claimed he "didn't know" what was happening, then had the audacity to offer the young woman who purchased the meal "permission" to buy the unhoused woman food AFTER security had already been called. Too little, too late, and deeply insulting. This business accepted payment for a meal they never intended to let the unhoused woman eat. That is not only heartless -- it is dishonest. Every employee watched this young woman with suspicion from the moment she sat down, as if her presence were a threat. It was not. She was a human being deserving of basic dignity. I am a 3-time Combat Veteran and work with the unhoused community and have never witnessed a more shameful example of profiling at a business. Other customers present were equally appalled. Frankly, I am quite disappointed with my order at Roll Call. I phoned my order of two Salmon Avocado rolls for pick up and was ready in 15 minutes. I was given the quote in advance which was $26.23. I still went ahead with my order, so that I can try their roll for the first time. The ambiance looked trendy inside. I paid upon pickup and was quite puzzled with how small the rolls are. I don't think the size and quality justifies the price. The salmon was fresh, but I was not impressed and satisfied with what I got and ate. It tasted okay and was pretty ordinary.
