Well First of all Before Our Flight we were looking for a good Donut Shop and was craving some delicious Donuts !! So As Usual we checked Yelp and the reviews and came up with this Donut Shop . First as you Drive up the Parking Lot is fairly small and you might have to park on the Side Street . Which we did and it was a little busy at the time we went . It is located really close to the San Francisco AirPort and just about 15 minutes away . And also located on a Corner but the shop is not to big though . Well as we walk in we look around at all the different types of donuts they got here and they do have quite a selection and they also have Coffee too which you fill up yourself . As we finally decided on which donuts to get we got the dozen donuts which costs like 27 dollars but it is kind of expensive but I had to try this Donut Shop out and my outcome is the Donuts were delicious and I still have some left and after 2 days it still taste good !! So if you're looking for something to bring on the plane before your flight then stop here and grab you some donuts it will not disappoint !! Also it is allowed on Plane just to let you know !! This place isn't even a shadow of its former self. The owners have ruined a once beloved San Bruno institution. Stopped buy to get a maple custard bar. It had very little filling and the maple glaze was so hard it just crumbled off the top like hard candy frosting. Place looks horrible inside. Rolling Pin Donuts is a convenient donut shop that seems to be open very late until midnight and as early as 4am. Their selection is pretty basic, but they do have your classic donut favorites in stock, like the donut holes and maple bars. There's nothing particularly outstanding, it's pretty much a standard donut shop. They did make an attempt to offer new flavors recently, such as the strawberry, ube, and matcha donuts. They were cheap so I didn't expect much when I tried all 3 of them. The strawberry flavor tasted very artificial, so you'd only really enjoy it if you like artificial strawberry. The matcha flavor was barely there. I took a blind taste and didn't' realize it was supposed to be matcha until I took a closer look at it. The ube was most notable a reasonable amount of ube flavor, though it's nothing exciting. Overall, it's an okay donut place, but nothing to get super excited about other than the fact that it's open at all major hours that you'd want a donut. As for online delivery, expect occasions where they don't have all their items or flavors in stock, and the store will likely substitute them automatically for you. read more

When my family was in South San Francisco we were here five times a week since the late 70s. in my 20s, we came here at two and 3 o'clock in the morning when they were just making donuts fresh. for the price and location, it's the best donut place around. You'll see lots of blue-collar workers, local city, and police dropping by. Of course the prices are not like they used to be but guaranteed the straight. Came here bright and early for some Cinnamon Rolls and Apple Fritter. There are two types of cinnamon rolls - the one that is more intensely sugared with cinnamon and the other that seems to have just plain sugar on top. We wanted the traditional kind, but they accidentally gave us the other version so it was not as good as we expected. The Apple Fritter though, was amazing! There were huge chunks of apple and so many crispy fried bits on the donut. I also appreciate that it was not very sweet. Overall, pretty good experience at Rolling Pin. My friend was raving about Rolling Pin Donuts and she brought me here last month to try them out. No, not Krispy Kreme. Rolling Pin Donuts! I first discovered them when I worked the graveyard shift bc my coworkers would get donuts from there when we were buying for the shift since it's open 24/7. Also while their store was in San Bruno, their bakery was very close to where I work in SSF so we would constantly smell their donuts baking which would ignite the cravings. My favorite donut is the blueberry cake donut. I also always love a classic sugar donut. (I think partially from nostalgia of always getting those from Winchell's, remember that chain?) My dad likes sugar donuts too as well as eclairs and maple bars. My mom loves apple fritters (so giant!). Rolling pin donuts have been around for so long! If you live in the area, you are definitely familiar with this donut shop. A local favorite! I have so many memories of my dad bringing me and my brother here as kids for as long as I remember. They have a plethora of donuts and other baked goods to choose from. Always have fresh coffee brewing! And the shop always has customers no matter the time of day. This place will never go out of business because it's such a timeless neighborhood staple. I came here after the Golden State Warriors Parade on June 20th of 2022... I always love going here. Back then this donut shop use to run 24 hours with no closing time. I went here whenever I was craving their donuts. I use to live in San Bruno and this was literally located just up the street from me! Every time I go to SFO I make it a point to stop there. NO MORE! I also bought a raised glazed donut and it wasn't billowy and airy as they used to be. So manu doughnut places to try in the north bay...this was next on the list. Nicely decorated on the outside, your typical looking doughnut shop inside. One thing I noticed was that not all their doughnuts are in the showcase, so you have to look behind on the racks to see everything they have.
