#13 Hot Honey is the best!

It's so good!!! Haven't had this since I lived in Cincinnati and I've missed it. Tastes the same.

Oh! I never reviewed Roly Poly? Geez, come on. I ate here a decade ago (yikes) every Saturday for lunch because it was cheap. I would always get the same thing: a #72 Whole. A #72 whole is a buffalo chicken wrap. I would never order anything else because the #72 is what I want in a wrap. It's just perfect. It's one of those things that just works. The chicken, mushrooms, buffalo sauce, cheese, tomatoes, onions all pressed together hot...it's nostalgic as any food I've had. Plus their ranch is always good with it. It is fresh because Inlaws Produce goes there on Saturday's. Also, there's a Roly Poly in Columbia, SC and their food does not taste fresh at all. I go to Savannah now (I live in Columbia, SC) about once a month. I always make a point to go to Roly Poly at least once or twice a year to relive a decade ago. You know what? It still hits and it's still arguably my favorite place to grab lunch in Savannah all these years later.

Such a great lunch spot!! 5 stars all the way! Their wraps are delicious and inexpensive. A huge bonus to me, especially since downtown has gotten so expensive! The Jerk Chicken wrap is my new obsession. It has the perfect blend of seasonings - a little bit of spice from the jerk and sweetness from the pineapples and mango glaze. Their soups are also delish! The broccoli and cheddar tastes just like home cooking with huge chunks of broccoli! I can't believe it's taken me so long to give this place a try.

10/10 - A Must-Stop Every Time I've been coming here ever…read moresince I was little, and it's one of those places that never disappoints. Every time I'm anywhere close, I make it a point to stop, and this trip was no different. I was driving back home to North Carolina and had to make one last stop because it's just that good. The food is always fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The sandwich was perfectly toasted with fresh ingredients, plenty of parmesan, and an amazing sauce, and the fries were cooked perfectly. Everything tasted just as good as I remembered. Service was a 10/10 and wonderful seating options MUST GO!!!

Even after the 2021 rebrand, it still held on for a while, but something in the last 5 years at the main office has completely lost touch. They expanded to three locations: ; downtown, Tybee, and Hilton Head, and in the process the whole identity fell apart. The menu has been gutted of its originality. The "OG" items are now overpriced, portion sizes have been cut in half, and the original sides that made it special are gone. What used to be a simple, order-and-sit-down experience is now chaotic. You're herded in by an overstaffed but somehow still disorganized team of high-turnover employees with zero consistency and very little emotional intelligence. There are always way too many staff for the number of customers, yet service somehow keeps getting worse. Last night was the final straw. We tried the Tybee location first, waited 30 minutes just to be seated, only to be told they were basically out of everything and could only do drinks. So we drove to downtown. Same exact thing. Out of sausage. When we asked if we could just remove it or substitute it, we didn't get a simple no, we got an "absolutely not," because apparently everything is pre-mixed and nothing can be adjusted. Even worse once we sat down. It took 15 minutes just to be asked for drink orders. A different server came over, introduced himself like we were starting fresh, and then got visibly annoyed when we said we'd already ordered water and a soda. From there it just kept getting more awkward. At one point he bumped my cup while I was literally lifting it to my lips and told me to "watch out" while he was placing food down. He took forever to check us out and finally bring our soda to go, and ended the night by saying, "just so you know I'm faster than the other girl," like we were in the middle of some weird staff competition we didn't sign up for. On the outside it still looks like a fun Savannah staple. But once you sit down, you realize you're no longer a local guest, you're trapped in an overhyped tourist operation that's completely lost what made it good in the first place.

The restaurant is very small with only a few booths and some stools, so I wouldn't come here with a large group unless you're taking your potatoes to-go. You order at the counter in the back and then find somewhere to sit or wait. There was one employee working the whole place when I visited, and they did a great job cranking out potatoes and taking orders! The menu is all loaded twice baked potatoes. They have some really interesting flavor combinations. There's vegetarian/vegan options too. The Bufftato was super tasty! I would never have thought to put crushed up tortilla chips on a baked potato, but it works! The portions are pretty large and filling! This is a great place to grab a quick lunch to fuel your shopping and sightseeing on a trip to Savannah!

So needless to say I was happy to hear about this place. Soon as you walk in, you are greeted with 6 kiosk screens to your right, optional if u wanna place your order and easy to operate. There's also someone available to take your order if you feel more comfortable going that route. The interior is very spacious, clean and peaceful, great for studying or dining in. There's also a glass that separates the guest from the staff, so you're able to see your food being prepared. Today I got a Mexican ceasar with a side of avocado, delicious by the way. Since I was traveling solo, it was easier for me to get my drink before sitting, rather than waiting for my food and then having to go to the drink fountain. The teammate though did seem very inconvenienced by this, though she did give me a cup. I think this is because they use a sticker system on all the food/drinks, but this seems like a service win to help customers that can be easily accomplished. The salad was fine. The buratta felt a little small, but overall it was good. I'd visit again for a healthy option, despite some concerns about the experience.

I love Greek food and I always enjoy venturing out to new restaurants. I went in on a Wednesday. My waitress, Hannah, was amazing. I cannot thank her enough for the level of service and the overall hospitality I experienced here. She let me try some wine, before I decided to commit to one. I also was provided a complimentary appetizer and she said "OPA" with me. It was truly an experience. I decided to try the branzino and I'm so happy I did! The fish was seasoned to perfection- it was fresh and light. I enjoyed it with their rice/peas and you have to have the Greek lemon potatoes. The food in itself had me wishing that I had more time to try more entrees on the menu. I had lived in Savannah for over three years and had neglected to visit them. I took the Greek lemon chicken home and Hannah packed me a little dessert to enjoy. I had mentioned my apartment was packed and she packed me extra silverware and napkins to go. She put the most level of CARE into my visit and I'm so grateful she was my waitress. Final Verdict: I will be stopping by whenever I'm in the area again. This has to be one of the best Greek restaurants, if not the best I've tried in my life.
