I've been going to Romantic Nails for a year,with my daughter. The salon is very clean and the staff are very welcoming and friendly Nancy and Dina are the two ladies that usually do my nails and both are very good. Today Nancy was taking care of me and she's very thorough and spends time to give you beautiful manicure and pedicure. She does a foot, hand and arm massage that is sooooo soothing, I almost fell to sleep! I have come twice before while we were visiting from out of town and they were pretty good. Today me and my mother walked in with an hour and 10 minutes before closing and asked for 2 fills, as they proceeded to say they don't have time (there was at least one person not busy). After asking if they had time for at least one, all they said was "nope", no further conversation. This place is not worth your penny. To start off with its expensive for the quality of service they give! My mom walks in and asks for a full set only. They ask her if she wants a pedi and she says no. So she takes a seat and they start with her full set the lady who did her nails cut her and she tells her "she didn't know how it happened" I explained to her that she had cut her and she kept denying it until I stopped her and I told her "mam'm if I'm telling you cut her it's because I saw you cut her" and she didn't say anything. Then apparently some other lady had started the spa for a pedi and they were sending my mom to the chair and my mom replied saying "oh no thank you I didn't want a pedi" they went off two other employees started yelling at the lady doing my moms nails and made my mom feel bad like she had done something bad (my moms shy for the most part) so i told the lady how inappropriate that was and their customer service was just horrible we will never come back here again. read more

I never get my nails done but needed to last minute somewhere else up north, where they screwed up and made one of my fingers bleed and couldn't even put polish on it. Long story short I ended up accidentally breaking a couple more (now you know why I never get my nails done) so I needed a major repair (and a redo of the first one) so I looked up any local salons and was hesitant because of the reviews. I feel like after my visit there, those reviews were heavily exaggerated because it was clean and I felt safer with their cleanliness than I did at the last place, I was seen right away, and not only did she do a great job but they looked even better than they did after the last place I went to. I have been going here for a couple years but took my almost 3 year old with me today. She sat with me with her feet dangling soaking for about 5 minutes, then one of the ladies sweetly picked her up and carried her across to a chair. She filed & buffed her feet and her hands while engaging her in conversation. She painted two flowers on her hands and two on her feet, asking my daughter which color of gem she wanted for the center of the flowers. My sweetheart smiled the entire time, which was about 40 minutes of personal attention. The most amazing part...they charged me $6.00 for EVERYTHING.! Pedicure, manicure & 4 flowers. I was blown away and tipped $9.00. The ladies are friendly and do an amazing job. A+++++ nail salon. Other places I have gone they are rude. There is not one rude lady here!!! Came here for a second time expecting the same perfect pedi as my first. Unfortunately, it wasn't so wonderful this time around. I came to the conclusion that the quality of your service greatly depends on the person providing the service even though they work at the same facility. The massage, which is always the most anticipated part of my pedicure, was less than mediocre. A complete 180 compared to the massage from my first visit here. My lady put zero effort into it and just did a little rub here and there to get it over with. The final product was just eh. The polish job wasn't very solid and just overall dull looking. I will give this place one more chance, but next time I'll be sure to request my pedicurist. read more

The first time I visited I was extremely satisfied with their customer service and work. I hate paying for an overpriced, ugly pedi so I thought for sure this would be my new to go to spot after seeing what a good job they did. Sad to say, the second time I came I was attended by a younger girl, she was nice at first but then would be rude if I giggled because the scrubbing was tickling / I didn't hold my foot up high for her. My nails were way to thick, and they look streaky underneath. I just recently started getting my nails done, and I thought that pain was normal. The lady utensils were not clean and she was quite aggressive with my nails, so much so that my nail started bleeding but only one nail. When she finished my nails she started a small short massage and that was fine until she started pulling my fingers and my arm across the table making me lean forward. She was digging her fingers into my hands with an oil that was in one that I hadn't seen in any other nail salon I've ever been to. It smelled nice but when she finished she continued to move on to another customer with the tools she used on me UN-WASHED! How gross is that! read more

Great for pedicures, but do NOT GET ACRYLIC NAILS here. So I have been three times. First one was ok, second was bad. Older set very obvious under new set. Third time she RIPPED my nails off, they even bled, and put as new set. But charged me to take off the bad nails she had done before!! I asked for white glitter tips. Instead I got an all pink powder acrylic nail with nail polish painted white tips, and she threw some teeny bop silver chunk glitter on top ( polish). Then charged me $38!! For polish painted white tips! My nails are damaged and she did a horrible job. If you do go, Kim is better. Now let's talk about the fact that this filthy place is still open regardless of state laws. They need a visit from the inspectors. They don't sanitize any nail stuff and use the same on everyone. I went to this establishment today for a gel nail removal on my hands and regular polish removed from my toes. I was told three times it would be $8 in which the tech that provided the service confirmed. While she removed my toe polish she inquired about why I wasn't going to get my nails done and asked if it's because I have to see the doctor. At this very moment is when I realized that her curiosity was in regard to why I was only getting a $8 service. She did file, cut and apply clear polish to my hands only. Once I checked out she swiped my card for $14 and her explanation was because she cut my nails. The math does not add up so I allowed them that moment but, will never ever return. Moral of this story is any business that does not treat their customers fairly nor run their business ethically will always look for ways to get extra money out of hard working people. The only place that does my brows the way I like them. I live in Irvine but every time I visit my family here, I always go to this to wax my eyebrows. Kind of pricey but the quality of service is exceptional. Looking at the place you'd think it wouldn't be any good, but they have done a great job all the times i've ever been there. There aren't many girls working there so waiting anywhere from 5-30 minutes would be expected. I've never seen it being packed in there during my visits which is nice when you don't want to feel cramped in. Parking can be an issue, especially when K's sandwiches and KB Books are within the same complex. The owner is really nice and listens to what you want. read more

I've been going to Romantic Nails for a few years now. The place isn't the most luxurious but they definitely get the job done. I've had pedis/manis and also eye brow waxing done. I have always left a happy customer. I usually take my daughter with me and the women are wonderful with her. My daughter loves going there but what 4 year old doesn't like getting their nails done.
