A very sweet older woman was our server. She made sure we were well-tended to and we had everything we needed. I ordered huevos rancheros with red sauce. It was very good. It came with flour tortillas on the side. The tortillas had nice flavor and were very soft. They were different than tortillas I normally eat, but I'm used to Baja-style Mexican food. I thought the beans were flavorful, but a little on the dry side. I think they were on the plate too long before getting to me. Husband got the daily special with tacos. He enjoyed his meal and found it to be a good value. Dining room was clean and comfortable. Restroom was clean and well-stocked. If you are passing through, give this place a try. It seems to be a local favorite.

Stay away from this place if you know anything about what mexican food is and should taste like.. this place does not serve mexican food, they serve DOG FOOD pre-made and warmed up in a microwave (comes out steaming hot on super hot plate with edges of food dried up from microwave waves). I would not serve this dish to my dog... What we got was not a burrito, didnt even sit close to it. bunch of cheapest ground beef covered in some bean sauce. i took one bite and requested a refund, the owner refused to give any money back claiming that she doesnt serve mexican food. she serves arizona-mexican food... why the sign says mexican food then...? i tried to suggest her that she should maybe travel more (to mexico) to see what real food tastes like, to which she replied "I am never going to go to Mexico!!!) Obviously a racist remark. She was so rude and obscure. This place is a terrible scam ran by a redneck racist. STAY AWAY!!!!. I purchased a gift card through restaurant.com (something Romo's signed up for) and the owner at first refused to honor it. After some discussion she agreed to my face that she would credit our meal. The bathroom, like the rest of the restaurant, needs some help. It was clean, but a refresh would go far. Near the bathrooms and kitchen, there is a buffet station. It was larger than I expected. (Buffet is not available at dinner.) When I got back to my table, the tea and food were waiting for me. The portion size was bigger than I expected. The rice noodles were cooked just right, not overcooked. There were far more vegetables than I expected, which was a welcomed surprise. The chicken was tender, flavorful, and plentiful. I enjoyed every bite. I went to the pay and the total was a little less than $20. I only had two 20s, so I gave the pretty lady a $20 and asked for change, wanting to pay the bill with my other 20. She gave me the difference from the price of the bill and the 20. I giggled and gave her the other 20 and asked for change. Then, she realized what I was asking. Unfortunately, it seems that business had been slow, because I got a $5 and a bunch of dollar bills. I left the change from the bill and a nice tip. As I was leaving a truck pulled up.
