Terriana took great care of us, making us feel welcome, even in the rain. She is the right amount of business and friendly. Great place to hang by the pool, have a drink and some good food.

If you are a guest staying at the historic Roosevelt Hotel New Orleans during the pool's open season of March through October, you'll want to make a trip up to the 4th floor outdoor garden deck to take in the experience at the Rooftop Bar and Café. You'll need a key card for using the elevator up to the 4th floor and entering the door to the deck. If you aren't a hotel guest, you can get a key for the day through the Resort Pass app for around $130 at this time of writing. We spent a few short hours here during our August 2023 trip, mostly people watching and enjoying a frozen beverage to cool off from the 100+ degree temperatures we'd endured walking around the FQ that afternoon. I also enjoyed having the place to myself for a sunrise cup of coffee before the heat really got going for the day. The Rooftop offers some cool city views, lots of fresh plants, and good natured, very patient bar staff who don't mind putting up with vacationing people who are sunning & drinking all day. Saints, I tell you! The menu (served 11a-6p only) includes a full bar selection, a couple of frozen cocktails, several non-alcoholic beverages, and a about 8-10 food options, mostly sandwiches and pub snacks. There are several comfortable seating options, whether on poolside loungers, under the shaded bar area, at the umbrella'd café tables, or within the rentable cabanas ($200 - $550 depending on duration and day of the week; includes some drinks & refreshments). Clean towels and Coola-brand sunscreen are offered just inside the entry gate for those who plan to brave the actual swimming pool. Note that the pool is open from 6a-10p, but the bar & café are only serving from 11a-6p, weather-permitting. The pool deck is closed from November through February.

Great service, very polite. Cocoa and Jenn were are bartenders and were doing a great job. I would come back here as they were very genuine. Tried the the Coco Loco I'll score it a A++

Beautiful view! While we did not eat there, the menu looked very appetizing and the bartenders were awesome!

The space is absolutely stunning--flooded with natural light from massive windows that offer breathtaking views of the French Quarter and the mighty Mississippi River. The vibe is relaxed and inviting, with smooth Neo soul music playing in the background that made it easy to settle in and get some work done. I kept it simple with soda water while plugging away on my laptop, but my wife enjoyed a fresh salad along with a burger and fries, which she said hit the spot. The real standout was the service; our hostess Barbara greeted us with such a warm smile and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. We're already planning to come back in the evening when they have live piano music--hoping it amps up the energy a bit more. If you're looking for a spot with expansive views and a chill atmosphere, this place is worth checking out! More to come after our next visit.

The ambiance is perfect..overlooking the French Quarter, its design and decor epitomizes the sophistication of Westin Hotels. The crowd was a mix of vacationists and corporate people who are there for meetings and conventions, and the staff were all polite and personable. We ordered drinks for the most part, and the price point was not really bad for a hotel bar- about $16 for regular drinks like vodka soda, and about $26 for doubles.

No music, no food service, or anything that shows that tried to create a nice vibe. It's literally just some chairs on the rooftop. The bar has a bartender, not mixologist, who makes drinks that I can make better at home. The little drinks are served un-garnished in tiny plastic cups and cost $15+. Not to mention they will take whatever tip amount they like out if you forget to close your tab. So my basic plastic cup of lemon, sugar, and a splash of vodka (I can't even call it a lemon drop) was $20. I wish I had taken a photo of how tiny the cups are.

Really disappointing experience…read more Vue honestly felt pretty bare bones to me. Yes, I learned some things about the culture and people of New Orleans and I got a few good pictures but I wouldn't recommend this at all. I was hoping to get a picture with my sister as indicated on the website but I didn't see anyone offer that or see it as an option once we made it there. I thought the mini story in the elevator was fun, short of course but they need to restructure this place I honestly was unimpressed. The website suggest it takes an hour and a half to experience the whole place, we walked the whole place, took pictures, watched 2 videos in well under an hour and a half. The employees were very nice and helpful; maybe I expected to much of Vue but I say temper your expectations.

I watched him build five classics at a time, clean and fast, no mixology cosplay, no wasted motion. At first glance, the place may look like a dive, but it has a great neighborhood bar vibe, excellent cocktails, and very affordable prices. On both days we visited, the place was packed, yet the crowds never affected the service. The bartenders were incredibly efficient, turning out drink after drink without missing a beat. Everything we tried was spot on. They clearly know what they're doing, and the prices make it even better. it's truly a steal
