Our whole team over at Roots works super hard and our cooks especially take their job very seriously. We strive to create the best possible atmosphere, service, and food even with our tiny little kitchen (which can make getting food out to a packed restaurants quickly pretty challenging) and cozy little restaurant. Best Breakfast and lunch spot in town! I have gone to roots since they were in the spot Baco Taco is now in. The new location has a rustic feel with wood tables and chairs and a "farm door" like window opening from the main area to the foyer. The food is absolutely amazing, locally sourced and mostly organic. They have a ton of vegetarian options as well as cool meat dishes. Joel is the best waiter and quite an entertainer for his patrons. They now offer a dinner menu with a BYOB option. I have personally never tried it, but am looking forward to going in the near future! read more

This is an amazing establishment. The service was extremely prompt and friendly. It was the homiest restaurant establishment that I have ever been to. We sat on the back patio and it was beautiful and unique. Our server, Debra, knew the menu so well and provided us with the most helpful suggestions. The food came out quick and extremely delicious. At the end of our meal, the owner came out and touched base with us which added a personal touch. Just had dinner tonight. New menu is AMAZING! We shared the Mixed Green Salad (w/ roasted beets, strawberries and feta) and the Ham and Bean soup. Both were delicious but have to say the soup was over the top good! Loved our dinners too, we tried the Cornmeal-Dusted Snapper and the Stuffed Pork Chop. Always enjoy our meals here the food is always delicious, fresh, local and the service and people that work here are great! Do breakfast here once a week but dinners are always a treat! read more

Great vibe, great food!! The local organic food is fresh and I like that they support the areas farms and businesses in the surrounding WC area. The bison chili has just enough kick to it, the quiche was delicious, and flavorful teas were thirst quenching! This is a cute rustic spot to meet for lunch and not feel rushed. YUM!! My husband and I generally have a difficult time finding something suitable for each of us when dining out. Roots has a nice selection of both vegetarian and meat based dishes. Well seasoned food, a friendly staff, and the decor is just so nice. I love the natural wood furnishings-a really down-home comfortable but a very classy touch! i loved this place. i ordered the eggs benedict and my boyfriend got the breakfast burrito. both were delicious. there are really healthy options and the food is great quality. it shows where they get all of the food and even tea, and everything was local as far as i could tell. the only downside is its a little pricey, but totally worth it considering the taste, quality, and attentive service. read more
