We were staying at an Airbnb nearby and decided to have dinner at Roseanne's Cafe since we didn't want to drive far to grab a bite to eat. A cute little cafe with views of Oceanside Beach. The place is very small so the tables fill up quickly and you may have to wait. When we checked in with the hostess to be added to the waitlist she said to come back in 15-20 minutes so we opted to walk down to the beach while we waited for our table. When we returned to the cafe we had to wait an additional 10-15 minutes for a table. Food was good but not exceptional but due to limited eateries in the area I can see why this place is popular with the locals and visitors alike. I ordered the scallops prepared with lemon butter which came with a rice pilaf and salad. I only wish it came with a vegetable as well to better complete the dish. My husband ordered the Alaskan halibut which was good too. April our server was excellent as well.

We loved this place! Super cute with stunning beachside views. Food was delicious and save room for the Marionberry Cobbler Ala Mode.

I have been dining here since 1995, so this was my 5th or 6th time to eat here, and it's where I wanted to go to for my birthday. The ladies are gone but the grandsons are continuing the tradition of good food and hospitality. We arrived at 12:45 and waited about 20 minutes for a table. I ordered the crab cakes and they were wonderful. Fresh crab meat, seasoned, and grilled perfectly, plus the roasted potatoes were excellent. My wife ordered the fried Oysters and she devoured them. She did share half of one with me, it was fresh, lightly battered, well seasoned, and grilled perfectly. When in the northern Oregon coastal area Roseanna's Cafe is well worth the drive to Oceanside.

Every time we visit Pacific City, Rosesanna's is our go-to spot! Located right on the beach, the views of the ocean are simply breathtaking. The cafe has a small but cozy atmosphere, and you can even find various coastal treasures for sale. The service feels like home, and you can truly taste the love in their homemade dishes. The portions are generous--enough to ensure you have leftovers for breakfast the next day! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and check out this delightful cafe. You won't regret it!

Great place to stop for lunch or dinner on the coast. There aren't many restaurants options in Oceanside but if there were more I'd still go to Roseanne's!! For breakfast we had the French toast and shrimp+ crab English muffin dish. French toast had fresh Marion berries which I loved. For dinner we had the Bloody Mary (which was amazing, as someone coming from Wisconsin), Tillamook burger, and the salmon special. Salmon was great, so fresh! Burger was delicious also. Clam chowder was my favorite! Service was excellent for how busy they were. Staff were charming and so welcoming. They do get busy so plan to wait or put your name in ahead. You could find parking in the beach lot or on the street, but again it gets crowded and Oceanside does not have a lot of parking.

Location is in a tiny Oceanside town with a view from the back windows. It's decor is lacking could use some updating. The foods was surprisingly very good. Clam chowder, chocolate caramel cake & the Crab cakes were amazing!

Update to my previous review: I dinned in for dinner the other night as my family wanted to eat here, it being one of the few restaurants open on a Monday. I was pleasantly impressed with my experience. Our server took wonderful care of us. For my dinner I ordered the small baguette along with the cheese and olive board. The baguette was absolutely amazing, i suggest asking for a side of their local honey to add onto it. The cheese and olive board was also super delicious and had a variety of Brie, cheddar curds, pepper jack and Gouda: all of my favorites! I also ordered a margarita and I thought it was delicious. Can't wait to come back for dinner again in the future. Glad I gave you all another try!

Pulled pork, brisket TENDER & JUICY. I can't even describe how I had flashbacks to my time in Texas. I am now in a food coma and on my way to take a 8 hour power nap. If you are ever at Cannon Beach, and do not feel like eating fish and chips, please come here and do your taste buds a favor.

It was my first time having pork rinds freshly made instead of out of a bag, and I'll need to find where I can get this more often!! The Cubano was solid. The bread was soft, the meat was tender, a little dry, and the pickles added a nice bright, acidic bite. The sauce was good too. Unfortunately, the fries were insanely salty. We couldn't eat them at all, which was disappointing since they're almost a $4 upcharge! The restaurant itself is pretty small, so I'd recommend coming when they open. Otherwise, I could see there being a wait. They only have one cook, so the food can take some time as well, but they have signs letting you know upfront, which I appreciated. There was only 1 waiter, but were friendly and attentive throughout.

The people at the information booth were friendly and personable. And now for what needs improvement! Customer service at the cafe was not friendly. And on two separate days we were there and still couldn't figure out how things work. They give you a buzzer but then you also see people delivering food to tables. The first day, our buzzer went off several times but nobody brought us anything. I finally approached the person who was delivering food and he said we needed to go up to the register to get our order. What? Back to the registers where there is a huge line? If that's the case, have a designated pick up area. And why do some orders get delivered and others don't? Make it make sense. And be clear about it when hand the buzzer to guests. The second time we stopped in, we ordered a breakfast sandwich and a coffee for my husband. The girl at the register asked if we wanted anything else and as I was looking for other drink options, she finalized our order, said the total and walked away. I found that rather rude. Guess I didn't get a drink. Later we saw her just standing at the register with her arms crossed. If she's that miserable less than an hour after opening, perhaps a customer facing job isn't for her. The patio door in the cafe also needs to be fixed so it's not banging every single time someone goes thru it. I would suggest anyone visiting enjoy the self-guided tour, maybe grab some ice cream, but go get food elsewhere. Oh, and as to how the food was - it was just ok. Nothing outstanding and overpriced IMO.

We liked watching the process of making and packaging the cheese ( there really should be some kind of line -start at station 1 and then move along - I know it's designed to do this but there were people just jumping back and forth which because frustrating) The ice cream is delicious - I had to get a flight - my eyes were bigger than my stomach but it was worth it! I do wish the ice cream shop was open later or they had a separate one in town - we stayed in Tillamook for two nights and would have gotten ice cream after dinner every night if it was open!
