Came here on a whim with one of my friends. There was a short wait , but there was seating outside. The person at the host stand was super considerate. He asked if we were okay being seated near a large party with children. Our server was friendly and walked us through the specials. The menu was small, but diverse. There were vegan and vegetarian options, which was great for my friend. We split fries with crab boil aioli. I wish it had more kick. The beet salad was great. Perfect crunch with the fennel. My friend got curry, and I got fried chicken with greens and macaroni and cheese. The Tabasco honey was delicious. The chicken was juicy. No complaints. A cocktail, salad , 1/2 fries, and an entree totaled to about 55.00 pre-tip. Not too bad.

Tucked away in Mid-City, this New Orleans restaurant serves some goodies! They have a clean menu with thoughtful dishes that clearly come from the heart. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It had a really nice homey feel, with down to earth decor and kind waitstaff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We felt like we were a little bit rushed through our dinner, but other than that it was a nice experience.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a charming little spot![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I stopped by for lunch and tried the Rosedale burger with crispy potato wedges. It was full of flavor and very juicy. The customer service was friendly. Looking forward to coming back!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Casual place with a blend of some unique ingredients.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I went easy and settled with the Rosedale burger and steak fries. It was a pretty good burger but the big tomato was a little bit overwhelming. Not a big fan of steak fries but the food was fresh. Service wasn't bad. Pretty decent hidden gem.

Don't recall the name but it was delicious

Our second visit this time with the in-laws I honestly don't know why we don't think to come here more often. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is casual/funky.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service is fast and friendly. The food is fantastic! I almost looks to pretty to eat when served. My personal favorite is still the meatloaf sandwich- the bacon jam adds a little sweet to the savory and the house made chips are perfect as a side.

From the slightly spicy, slightly sweet fried chicken thighs to the whipped and creamy taramasalata dip, everything from this hidden spot was delicious and delectable. Tucked away in an old police station, Rosedale offers a wide variety of classic Southern eats at an affordable price point. Our favorites were the fried chicken plate and the taramasalata dip. 9/10 We will most certainly be back to try more delicious eats!

I had an exceptional meal I had at Rosedale on 6/6/25. [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the minute I walked in the door and was greeted by Jonas, then seated at the bar, the atmosphere and environment were fantastic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] James Beard awardee and friend Chef Susan Spicer dropped by to greet me. I had great difficulty making a decision off of a menu that made my mouth water. I loved the little amuse bouche that the kitchen sent out while I was having a martini. I ended up getting the cochon du lait Poboy, which was fantastic. I only ate half and brought it home, and I really think it was better the day after! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the building and its history.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was in goosebumps sitting at the bar, thinking that I was in the same building where Louis Armstrong learned to play trumpet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Check their website. Better yet make a reservation. They only operate during limited hours.

Fried cauliflower... very very good.

First time and it exceeded my expectations. My friend and I got the duck pastrami sandwich with Gruyère cheese. Very very delicious! When in the mid city, try it! You will not be disappointed. They take reservations too!

This is a great casual place with solid food. The guacamole may be the best I've ever had. We also had the fish roe dip, duck pastrami, Cochon de lait, side of Mac and cheese ($5) and special red snapper ($29). Service was relaxed and cheerful. I thought the guacamole and Mac and cheese serving sizes were a bit small for the price - but everything was delicious.

I didn't think anything could compare to Pascale's Manale's BBQ Shrimp...Rosedale has not only topped it but has blown it away!

Please don't eat here - I don't want to have trouble getting a table. Amazing high end food in comfortable setting. The bar is great, too.

Once the sun went down and the temperature started dropping, they turned it on and it was perfect. It kept us warm and made the whole setup even better. There was crawfish being sold, and of course I had to get some. It was so good and definitely added to the experience. The place was packed because of the game, but the bar inside moved surprisingly fast. There were plenty of bartenders working, so I didn't have to wait long at all. The crowd here is always friendly, which makes a big difference during big events like this. I really enjoyed myself watching the game. The only thing I wish they had was a few blankets available since it does get chilly outside at night. Also, no pets were allowed because of how large the crowd was for the Super Bowl, which makes sense. I've brought my dog before on regular visits and can't wait to bring her back again. Wrong Iron always delivers a good time. I'll definitely be back.

After traveling all day, we decided to sit outside on the patio. We had a fantastic waiter who took great care of us. They have an experienced bartender and a great signature cocktail list. Highly recommend any of the martinis. The charcuterie board was delicious as were all of our entrees. Highly recommend the New Orleans BBQ Shrimp! Bread pudding was divine. ***Brown butter rosemary fries - pass on these unless good plain fries are what you're looking for. I didn't taste a hint of brown butter or rosemary on the fries and their "maison sauce" was just ketchup.

The ambiance of this place was the best part of the experience - the Vessel is located in an old church building. I loved the vibes and it felt both classy and casual at the same time. We didn't have reservations on a Saturday night, but we were able to be seated as soon as we came in! We started with the hand cut fries and I found them to be delicious and fresh. Afterwards, I had the seafood pasta and it was great - appropriate balance of the pasta and seafood. We ended with the creme brule and it was perfect - it had the right amount of crunchiness at the top and was soft as soon as you broke into it. Overall, I had a great experience here and hope to try this place out for brunch in the future!
