I visited Roselli's tonight in Carmel. I consider myself a very valued customer who has brought pizza for many years referred family and friends as well. I was highly embarrassed and disappointed by the owner. I always ask that my pizza is not burnt on edges or anywhere. I arrived to get my pizza and it was overcooked for me. Doug who knows me knew my pizza was overcooked and offered to make me another pizza. The owner came out and told me in a very rude tone that this is the last time that will make me another pizza and they will never make another pizza again. I advised the owner when I placed my order that I asked to make sure none of my pizza was burnt ( which I do anytime I call). This is also recorded under my phone number. The tone and rudeness by the owner made me feel that he was just having a bad day. I wasn't going to respond in the manner he treated me. I waited for another pizza. As I sat waiting on my pizza I decided to let the owner know how he made me feel. I asked to speak with him but he never came out to speak with me. I waited patiently for my pizza to find out the cook made me another pizza with bacon so he had to make another pizza. I never wanted my money back or anything free. I just wanted my pizza to be made the way I ordered it. While sitting waiting I looked at the employees and saw the fear and unhappiness in their eyes. This was only because of the negative environment they work in. When my pizza finally came out it was under cooked. I asked if they could cook it about 5 minutes more. The owner came out and told me I either take the first pizza or the one they remade. I advised him that I felt he owed me an apology and no one had every spoke to me in that tone. I also told him that I have always ordered my pizza the same way. He then advised me I always complain about my pizza every time. I told him I would pray for him and I didn't know if he was having a bad day but that was not true. He then gave me an apology that had no remorse or feeling. I decided to take the time to write this review because I was offended and disrespected by the owner. I hope this helps anyone who has a business to remember to always go home if your attitude affects your employees and customers. I had been to Roselli's in the past and enjoyed it, especially the buffet. So I was in the area and needed to bring home dinner. I looked at the menu and was in a bit of sticker shock, but I was there and and decided to order. I ordered to go and they told to me to take a seat in the dinning area and they would bring it to me. Apparently they forgot about me. When i asked how much longer, the went to the ready area and there it was, sitting there for who knows how long. The surgeon general suggested wearing face masks. It's been at least 3 weeks that social distancing has been suggested. When I walked in there tonight to pickup my pizza, not a single employee had gloves on or standing any distance apart. I got lots of shocked looks when I came in with a mask, which is fine. Food is good, but if you order carry out, be sure to ask for an itemized receipt. Twice I've ordered carry out and have been overcharged. Both times the cashier assured me they applied the coupon I gave them, but when I got home and looked at the prices on their website, I realized they could not have applied the coupon. The carry out receipt they provide doesn't show itemized prices, so it's not easy to check on the spot. $10 gets you a soda (with refills) and all of the pizza, salad and pasta that you can stomach. The pizza is pretty good - better than what you would expect at a buffet. Each table has a parmesan jar and a box of napkins if you're a slob. They have a couple of TV's playing ESPN in the restaurant. The staff is nice. Was a little apprehensive when we first pulled up because there wasn't anybody else there, although as the night progressed it got quite busy. We ordered an appetizer of garlic cheese bread and a Chicago style deep dish pepperoni pizza. Was not a fan of the bread, but the pizza was DeeeeeLish! Really good pizza. We usually get take out and it's perfect. I went to the lunch buffet with my son on Friday and it was $10 which includes your drink. Plentiful pizza, salad, breadsticks. If you don't see a pizza you want just ask! They have some in the bullpen ready to come out. Great place to take kids. read more

So I decided to take my family out for a nice dinner. Called in a pizza from Rosellis for dine in. We arrive order appetizer (ravioli things) they came out under cooked so we had to send them back. They brought out the next order and I'm pretty sure it was re dropped in grease but ok we came for pizza so we just left it alone. Now the pizza arrives and it's cold and burnt so we tell waitress she takes it back and someone else comes back with it trying to explain that it was just cooked. We tell her the cheese isn't even melted so she leaves with it someone else comes back with it smh. He tells us it was just cooked and we wasn't getting another on. These guys have been my neighborhood "premium" pizza source for over 10 years. One thing most can't tell you is that they've been an anchor of the un-heralded SW Carmel / Zionsville restaurant scene for more than 15 years. They hire consistently good people who care about what they serve and who they serve it to. They act like they're the best neighborhood pizza place without hitting you over the head with it. They are Chicago-style with roots in Indy, so you can talk to the staff about the Colts while still rooting for the Cubs and Blackhawks. Roselli's Pizza was pretty good. We were in Indianapolis for a basketball tournament and wanted to bring food back that the parents and team could all eat together. They have a number of different crust types, wide variety of pizzas, salads and even deliver. Would consider this place again and definitely better than the burger joints Rally and White Castle, which were both a step below terrible. This used to be one of my favorite pizza places. I regularly ordered pizza and ate at their lunch buffet. However, in the past year or so, the pizza has gone from great to sub-par. First, the sweet tomato pizza sauce that was so delish was altered. The fresh sweet taste was replaced by tasteless bland sauce. Next, the $10 all you can eat lunch buffet went to $12. The final horrid change appears to be a thinner deep dish crust. Their pizza now reminds me of something you'd get from CiCi's pizza. I think a frozen totinos tastes better. My daughter and I drove nearly 30 minutes to Roselli's for a utterly disappointing and disheartening experience. I ordered a 14 inch pepperoni pan pizza (approx $26.00) and a individual order of breadsticks (approx $5.50) to dine in. What was delivered to my table was completely unsatisfactory! (Since remodeling the atmosphere is very dimly lit so it's almost hard to see what they are even feeding you!) However food appearance is important to me. I personally took the pizza back up to the window and spoke with the manager (I was so upset by the end of the conversation that I forgot to get his name) regarding the appearance of my pizza. He acted as if he could not comprehend the issue. I have been to Roselli's on many occasions and I have never received service or food of the caliber I experienced on this visit. I advised that if he could not see the issue with the food then I do not need to patronize this establishment any further. No apologies, no nothing...however he did still charge me for the breadsticks! Wow! Mind blown. I am unsure if they expected because I am a black woman amongst a predominantly white establishment that I am just going to accept anything because they gave it to me...but I am not that woman. I expect the same treatment as everyone else...my money spends the same. I am very disappointed in Roselli's and will not be going back! My friends and I absolutely love their food including the Chicago style pizza, dinners, and salads. This is one of our top go to places.

My boyfriend has been wanting to come here for at least a year, and today I gave in. We had a deep dish pizza and garlic cheese bread. I would say the pizza is Chicago STYLE but not on par with Gino's East or Giordano's or Lou Malnati's. It was good but not really true Chicago pizza. To be honest? Chicago style is not my favorite, because I dislike chunky sauce, and at least this sauce was sparse and easy to slide out of the way, and I really enjoyed the crust and that the bottom was crispy and not doughy. The garlic cheese bread was yummy and everything was hot and pretty quick. Service was friendly and attentive, although the half counter service/half table service thing is kind of strange. Pizza, garlic cheese bread and 2 drinks ran us about $25. I don't think we would likely return, just because there are a million places to eat in Indy and we like to spread it around, unless it's a place we truly love. read more

My wife and I were told this was a must go-to pozza spot. A day later we ordered the thin with pepperoni and sausage. Roselli's did not disappoint! We both loved the pizza and were pleasantly reminded of some Chicago tasting pizza. The toppings were fresh and great and the sauce had a trademark flavor. We both have put this in our top few pizza places now and will be regular customers. They have multiple style options (hand tossed, thin, Chicago style) so likely a good place if there is a group craving different types of pizza. I do not recommend. The food was overpriced for food that was not good. The thin crust was under-done and the cheese would fall off the pizza slice. Driving through Indianapolis and the kids wanted Pizza and the adults wanted salad. Found this little gem on Yelp. Chopped salad was exquisite and the mozzarella sticks were not too hard or soft. Coming from Chicago we were pretty particular about our pizza and they exceeded our expectations. The sausage pie was delish. Being a big fan of ribs, I ordered a rack to go. Had to try one before we left. It was really good. Cannot wait to get home and finish them. Service was friendly, good and responsive. And they have gluten free options which we needed. The hubs and I have eaten here a few times, and we've enjoyed it each time! In fact, we've tried new things each visit, and we have almost always really liked what we ordered. While I wasn't the biggest fan of their deep dish pizza when I had it previously (sauce had lots of chunky tomatoes - not my thing but hubby loved it), I can speak highly for the pan pizza!! This most recent visit, we had a 14" mushroom pan pizza, and it came out great! Nice thick crust, plenty of cheese, tasty smooth sauce - I was a happy eater! I'll definitely get that again. To top it off, we've always had really good service there- friendly people to take our order at the counter and friendly and efficient servers who attended to us. Came in after seeing reviews and hyped up website. I asked ahead of time about the crust in the thin crust to ensure it was hand tossed and not some premade cracker crust. Well when it came out and I took the first bite, it was the most bland cracker crust I had ever tasted but being that I hadn't eaten all day and it was 5 PM, I decided I'll eat it. When the waitress came to ask me how it was I told her the truth. That it was terrible. She offered the manager and when he came over, I told him the same thing and he said in seven years he's never had anybody say that to him.
