    Best pizza ever.

Our favorite pizza restaurant. Reminds me of being back in Chicago. Excellent customer service and the pizza is delicious! This place never disappoints. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience is cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean establishment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Craving deep dish Chicago style pizza? We tried Roselli's Pizza tonight. Wow. It tastes like the Chicago pizza we've been missing since we moved here almost 5 years ago. We did carryout but we'd like to eat there next time. My husband said it looked great. Left to right: deep dish 12" pepperoni and banana peppers, deep dish 14" "classic" and a 16" cheese thin crust. The thin crust was really good, too. The only bit of criticism I have is that "the classic" was very salty but the others were fine. -- in Carmel.

We ordered a thin crust classic combo pizza to pick up which includes sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, green peppers and olives. We're from the Chicago area and this reminded us of a hole in the wall place we always ordered from. For anyone from the Franklin Park, IL area, this is super close to Jake's pizza. The crust is thin and crisp and the sausage is the correct type; it is actually Italian sausage which is the key...the balance of sausage, onions, peppers and mushrooms was perfect. The pepperoni and olives were "extra" in my mind but good! The aroma in the car was spot on a memory from childhood. If you didn't grow up on this pizza you might not like it as it is different from other thin crust pizza styles, but if you also grew up on Chicago thin crust you'll probably love this. Next time I will order it "well done". If they know what that means, they are definitely the real deal. The pizza was ready when promised via online ordering, and was hot and fresh. Pick up was quick and easy. I'll definitely order from them again.

I was a little worried when I drove up to Roselli's and saw all the police cars, but later learned that police and firemen get a steep lunch discount. We stopped by to get a small pizza for lunch as I wanted to try their Chicago style pies. We saw pretty quickly that everyone gets the buffet. I didn't want a buffet, but after I saw the variety of pizza and an option for salad, we got the buffet. The dining room is pretty dark filled with large wood booths, reminiscent of a Chicago pizza joint. There is a covered patio if you want more light and fresh air. I got a couple pieces of pizza, salad and a piece of garlic bread that I really didn't need. The homemade sauce on the deep dish is really fresh and good. But I liked the crunchy thin crust pizza the best. The pizza toppings were pretty standard. The salad was basic bag salad with options to add tomato, cheese and peppers. There was pasta on the buffet, but I didn't need additional carbs. I tried the bolognese sauce which was delicious and the star in my opinion. The buffet comes with a soft drink, and I had pink lemonade. All in all, it was a decent lunch. The staff was friendly and worked hard to keep the buffet filled and tidy.

I'm from Chicago and I'm so glad I found this place! The deep dish is legit, crust is perfection, not too thick on the bottom and the buttery end crust is crispy but soft in the middle. Sauce has a touch of sweetness which I love and ingredients are super fresh. I had the deep dish pepperoni, mushroom extra cheese and we got a thin crust pepperoni and Italian beef, all were outstanding!! Chefs kiss

I've heard of Rosellis but finally got a chance to experience. Our waitress was very friendly and outgoing..lots of personality. She made great suggestions. The Pizza is really good and we got the deep dish 10', which was more than enough for pizza for 2. Our appetizer was the fried Ravioli which can see are not in the pictures. It didn't really have a chance to survive to make a food selfie Perfect place to catch a game because it had few TVs indoor and outdoor. Definitely will go again and I recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool little spot but we got ours to go.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Pizza was good not great. Mozz sticks were solid but barely warm. Fried ravioli was pretty good. A little pricey for the amount of food. Friendly people inside.

What's the difference between the deep dish and the pan pizza?

We'll....deep dish is really a casserole as opposed to a pizza. 🤣

Do they have gluton free pizza?

After said massage, I was relaxed and decided that I did not want to cook dinner when we got home, so we popped in without having any context on its popularity. The place is really small. There is a bit of counter/bar seating, one large table and one smaller table in the corner inside. Outside, there are 3-4 more tables in a covered area. We reviewed the menu online, as they seemed to only have one printed menu that was being passed around from table to table. We decided on the Godzilla pizza (Pepperoni, Jalapeno, Serrano, Ricotta, Mozzarella, Grana Padano, Tomato Sauce, Pecorino, Mike's Hot Honey, Fresh Basil, Olive Oil). The pizzas only come in one size, so there's no ordering a small pie to see how you like it. It is all or nothing! We sat at the one available table inside with our beverages and waited for the pie to be made. The table was dirty and there were cobwebs in the corner, but as I read the reviews online, I began to get excited for what was to come. It didn't take very long for us to receive our pie (20 minutes tops) and we had to try some fresh out of the oven. The slices were huge, barely fitting on the plate. The crust was nice and crisp. I wasn't really a fan of the fresh jalapeno and serrano peppers (I guess I expected them to be pickled), but they were sliced paper thin. They were all over the pizza. The most generous topping, by far. There was no picking around them, so next time, I would opt to have them removed entirely or at least have them go light on the peppers. They didn't add any spice, in my opinion. My favorite topping was the ricotta. It was very creamy and added a nice balance to everything else the pie had going on. I would try them again if my husband wanted to, but they aren't at the top of my list. Edit: I am editing my review in response to the Business Manager's comment on my review. It was defensive and argumentative in nature, which I deem as bad customer service. I have since posted my pictures from that visit, including ones showing the cobwebs in the corner of where our table was located. Going through my pictures, I remembered that the cheese sauce we ordered was also given to us cold. It took at least 10 minutes to have it warmed and given back to us, and by then the pizza was cold. We boxed everything up and went home, but reheating is never as good as fresh out of the oven. The manager stressed how extremely busy the one front of house person is, so why then would they suggest that we should've asked that she clean our table? We were perfectly capable of doing so ourselves, and so we did. I was simply recounting my true and honest experience, but I suppose that any constructive criticism or less than glowing feedback is not appreciated. Perhaps, with all of your popularity and success you should consider hiring additional help to rectify these issues rather than making excuses and placing blame on an overworked/overwhelmed member of your staff. One additional star removed for management's snarky remarks.

My advice is get here early or you'll be standing in a long line of 20-30 people outside. I ordered the Cuban sandwich on pita bread. It was ok. It wasn't the best I've had and I probably won't order it again. The toasted pita bread made it harder to eat and it came with deep fried chips that may have been a little overcooked. My wife had the Meatball sub and said it was very tasty. It came with 11 meatballs and my wife commented you needed to eat the meatballs down the middle of the sub first before you could eat it as a sub. There were a lot of meatballs and it also came with same overcooked chips. I'm not sure what the draw is for this place. Maybe it's the pizza. It seems they serve a lot of them both in the restaurant and take out. If I come back I will try the pizza to see if that's what the hype is all about. We will try coming back on a week night to avoid the crowd.

This is a hot spot for a certain kind of Carmel crowd who wants to have a lil' cheeky drink on a day that ends in Y (or two drinks ... or three. They don't judge at Pizzology.) Or so I'm told. I got boots on the ground reporting for me. But it's also a restaurant for families. And a restaurant for casual dates. And a restaurant if you just want great food. Pizzology gets wood-fired pizza right. The crust is chewy yet slightly charred and crispy in all the right places. The pizza flavor offerings are simple but also creative. They have a dozen or so chef-crafted pizzas, so you can order a pizza that has been thoughtfully created. But if you want to go rogue, then you can also create your own pizza from ingredients like peppadew peppers, corn puree (what?), smoked mozzarella, asparagus and lots more. Large pizzas feed two, maybe three people. Small pizzas will feed one person. I was with a group of people, and we ordered a variety of things. The best thing that I tasted was The Varro, which is a pizza with red sauce, pork meatballs, fresh garlic, blobs of ricotta, parmesan cheese and parsley. This is one amazing pizza! I specifically ordered this pizza for the ricotta blobs, but I left with the memory of the garlic. Woah! If you like garlic or need to ward off vampires, this is the pizza for you. Other things we got included the Margherita pizza, which was so good and simple, with lots of fresh basil. And The Bama (white Alabama barbecue sauce, chili flakes, grilled chicken, banana peppers, caramelized onions and mozzarella). The Bama is spicer than you might think, but it was very tasty. Other people at the table got salads and bread sticks, and they were very happy with them, so I feel like you can't go wrong with pretty much anything on the menu here. The wine list is decent here! You'll find some nice wines at OK prices. They also have a wide variety of cocktails, plus a small beer menu. Hours are limited, as Pizzology is only open for dinner, starting at 4 p.m. If you're visiting on a Friday or weekend, I'd call to make a reservation. This place fills up quickly!
