First time going to this location since the Corbin Rosie's closed. First thing, they didn't answer their phones. Called a couple times and nothing. So I tried ordering online and it went through. When I got there, they were confused and had to figure out where my order was, I guess because of the multiple apps used for ordering. Get the ribs after waiting another 10 minutes or so and go home. I was kinda disappointed in the ribs, not that much meat and wasn't as good as I remember them being. One was really burnt. I think I'll pass on this location from now on, and just think of Rosie's as another valley staple that's gone. read more

This is a review that I started but never posted. Probably because it's not good & I hate leaving negative reviews. We got here at opening time on a Sunday & it was closed. About 15+ minutes later they opened the doors. We were 2nd in line & placed our order. Their ordering system was down but they took it the "old fashioned way" (ticket book) & we could still pay with credit card. We took a seat & once our food was delivered we realized we'd ordered A LOT of food...and it wasn't great. The tri tip was good but the baby back ribs had more fat than meat & the beef ribs were dry & tough. Nothing was hot, including the garlic rolls & mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese was meh, basically just some cheese sprinkled throughout the mac. A number of people came in after us so it seems popular, maybe they were having an off day but based on our experience, I don't think we'd go back. read more

Rosie's is always a great alternative for family gatherings and last minute catering. The food is always good, although sometimes they do have their occasional hiccups with the orders, the last time I was there was for Father's Day: my order was sitting on the counter for over 20 minutes and they were prioritizing what seemed to be known customers as well as other orders. I asked about my order twice and when it was finally handed to me I realized that it was the bags sitting on the counter for the last 20 mins I was there. I came one hour before closing, was able to be seated right away & order our food. I ordered the half a slab of ribs with the side & garlic bread that were included in the meal ($11.50) & was really appreciative of the price as it was extremely fair. We also ordered a pulled pork sandwich with a side of mashed potatoes that comes with the order ($11.50). Food was absolutely amazing. The ribs were great, savory, & the barbecue tastes amazing. The fries were hot & ready & seasoned well. The garlic bread was good, but it wasn't warm. The pulled pork sandwich had loads of meat & the mashed potato's were so good that it melted in your mouth. The only thing, maybe it was because it was close to closing time, was that the food was not warm/hot enough to enjoy to its fullest potential. Other than that it tasted amazing & someone who's lived next to this restaurant for my whole life, I had no idea what I was missing out on. The last time I ate at Rosie's, it was the one on Tampa and it was gross in every way. I gave up on them after that. Never went to the one on Corbin, and then the other night when I was in the mood for ribs, I decided to give them another try, especially because the price was so much more reasonable than the other local places. Ordered from Door Dash, had the babyback ribs with a side of shredded onions and it was amazing. The ribs tasted freshly cooked, not sitting around all day and falling off the bones and the shredded onions were perfection. Crispy and not oily. I come here every once in a while with my parents to grab lunch. It's not my favorite place for bbq but it's not bad. It's a small spot that has a decent sized menu, with items like chicken, ribs and tri tip. Last time I got the tri tip sandwich with onion straws. All of the sandwiches come with your choice of side. The sandwich was loaded with meat and the side was huge, so it was easily enough food for two meals. The tri tip sandwich comes with au jus which was super salty so I didn't use it and just put bbq sauce on the sandwich instead. I've also gotten the ribs here, which were tender but had way too much pepper on them. They have a different special everyday so make sure to ask them what it is when placing your order, as it's usually a great deal. Yes, Yes, Yes, 1,000 times yes !! I have tried many types of bbq and been to many different BBQ places. This place is on of the best. I've been to Texas numerous times and had some amazing g BBQ so my standards are pretty high and I usually can't find a place in CA to hold up to my Texas standards but Rosie's does. If I could give this a zero, I would. The mac and cheese was soggy (how is that possible?) The baked beans were straight from the Heinz tomatoes based can. The chicken needed sauce to find any flavor, but please, trust me, don't use the house sauce. The beef ribs were huge but tough, we ultimately had to throw them away. The chicken salad was just terrible. How do you mess up a salad? We were convinced to give this a try, based on the reviews, but we were hugely disappointed. So I wanted to leave an honest review. My brother said he wouldn't feed this food to a dog he didn't like. I thought that it was cruel, but there is nothing worse than getting your mouth ready for good BBQ and ending up with this. This time we came by for dinner and got the dinner for 2 deal, which came with so much food (as you can see in the pictures). My friend and I ended up taking the rest home and had it for lunch the next day, you can definitely feed a family of 4 with that meal! The ribs were very meaty and had a great sauce. The tri tip is like butter! And the fries and onion strings were nice and crispy. Staff are always nice and so quick with your food, it's always ready and in front of you within 5 minutes.
