Wanted to try this location as it's a taste of home! Got a medium pizza(8-slices), half King Arthur's Supreme & half Montague's All Meat Marvel. Gooey cheese & a thin, yeasty crust was yummy! Hubs downed it with a pint of Modelo. Perfect for this 80°F day! There's a small salad bar & self-service soft drink area. It was always tended to by the female employee who took our order. We were warmly greeted by all staff & asked if we had been there before. We mentioned not this location but the ones in California which we had ordered years past. One gentleman said there have been a lot of people from California who have visited, LOL! I said "Good! I hope you get more business!" He mentioned they're new so I hope more people read this review & give it a shot. The interior is very clean, with fun graphics in a nice, open space with lots of windows. In the back there are some machines(1-pinball & 2 stuffed animal type you try to grab). TV Monitors are playing sports highlights/news. It's a nice, cheerful space. I had heard about @roundtablepizzasanantonio, so we thought to check it out this past Sunday for lunch. It's located in Tacara in the same plaza as Chicken Salad Chick. They had the TVs ready for game day and we were ready to eat some game day food. We started with the 6-piece wings in Polynesian flavor. Hubby had one trip to the salad bar. You can choose the unlimited trip to the salad bar as an option. We all shared the medium-sized pizza with half pepperoni and half Hawaiian (Dad's favorite). I had the Pineapple East Cider beer, Dad had Lemonade, and Hubby had an Arnold Palmer. A little bit of history...@roundtablepizza started in 1959 in Menlo Park, California. I give it a three star because overall we had gotten the garlic twist which looked amazing and tasted very good, which made us have hope for the garlic sauce on our pizza and when we got our pizza, it was a bit flavorless. Their cheese didn't have much flavor, the garlic sauce didn't taste like garlic, tasted like garlic powder was sprinkled over the top. The sausage and pepperoni didn't have much flavor to them either. On the plus the personal pizza the cheese and toppings were edged to edge. The service was overall okay the lady that took our order was a little bit rude when the person that I went with asked for beer, which is on the menu, but they don't serve so that was a little disappointing but another good thing was the restaurant was clean and pretty quiet so a good place to try, but definitely wouldn't go again read more

The staff was very nice. I ordered a pan pizza supreme. They were very efficient on getting it made getting it out. I asked if this was the pan pizza and she told me it looked a little thin to me, but I haven't been to round table in five years so maybe it's what it changed to. I'm not sure. read more

On a wet Saturday night with everything we went to full to the gills with people, we went on an adventure and tried this round table for dinner. I am so glad we did! This may be my new pizza spot! Great ambiance and well lit. The staff was happy and helpful. Now to the pizza... that was the best cauliflower crust I have ever had!!! I took one bite and gave my husband the look...hot, cheesy, crispy, and tasty! My son was so excited for his Hawaiian pizza, he just looked at us and said this pineapple is so good! The little man devoured his personal size, which was the perfect size. The hubs had the Italian meat pizza and he took a bite and loved it. So much meat and soft bread. There were not even crumbs left over. We will definitely be back. A great spot for a family dinner, lunch a date night or watching a game. read more

We ordered the Maui Zaui pizza. The crust is thinso it won't fill you up. Loved the mix oh sweetness with a bit of spice. And adding some Ranch dressing just made it very good. We sampled one large King Arthur and one large Maui Zaui. Both were really good- LOTS of toppings, definitely get your moneys worth of toppings here. Their crust is excellent, soft but crunchy and baked to perfection. They have a casual dining area, very clean and a few arcade games to help occupy your wait time. There is a self service salad bar-we didn't sample this visit but it looked to be full of very fresh ingredients. So glad I visited! Was searching for a pizza place that wasn't your typical chain spot and was delighted by round table, pizza sizes and toppings have a wide variety. Including a create your own option. They have a self serve salad bar in store that was good. Pizzas came out quickly 15 minutes for 2 medium sizes. Both had plenty of toppings. Jasmine took our order and was great at explaining the menu as we had never visited before. The store was nice and clean with good tv on. I hope to return here soon! read more

Had a hankering for some pizza and am on a quest to find great pizza in the area. Thought I'd give Round table a try. Inside is a bit more upscale than casual pizza places and they serve alcohol. We ordered the mozzarella sticks and I chose to have my own custom pizza. I usually order a Margherita to test places out and surprisingly they didn't have it on their menu, nor could they actual make one if you had your own custom pizza. Honestly the best thing I ordered there was the wine. The pizza was bland overall. Looked way better than it tasted. Wait time was fine, but they brought our appetizer out after our pizza. Ultimately, I feel you could get better pizza from dominoes and not have sticker shock. Not coming back and I think I'm being a tad generous with 3 stars. I'd give 2.5 if I could. read more

I ordered and destroyed the small "King Arthur Supreme" pizza. It was delish, the ingredients, and toppins were fresh and superb. The only reason why i rate this experience a 4 outta 5 is because the pizza was just above luke warm, and I like my pizza fresh and hot outta the oven with cheese pull, but that wasnt the case here. This place has only been open for 3 months but I have been waiting for a very long time for this place to open. Construction took forever. I can honestly say I was not disappointed. The place is very well kept. When I was walking up to the door a manager walked to the door to open it, and greet me. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Very friendly with great service! We enjoyed our visit at this Round table. Reminds me of what it used to taste like when I was younger. Nice flavors with everything fresh. We ordered a large pizza, half being ham and pineapple and half being pepperoni. An amazing pizza! All the portions were correct, with the perfect amount of sauce. I've had Round table in recent days and had thought it had changed from what it ounce was, till what we've had here. This is a new store and I think the key will be, can they stay consistent. If standards are kept this is going to be a place we return too. My wife had the salad bar which was also nice and fresh. We were very impressed with the food quality and service but also a very clean and comfortable store. Movie theater is in the same parking lot which makes a great family outing! Wings lacked real flavor which was odd given they were mango habanero and could have been cooked a little longer to tenderize them. Came across this Round Table when visiting chicken salad chick and my memories came back. Went in for grand opening and got a free personal pan. Wife only let me have half of it but it was delicious. Decided to to do family order today. Ordered online. Was easy and there is an app. Had an ice cold beer ( on tap) while I waited. Staff were very friendly and happy to serve. Hi! Bay Area Native, moved to Texas a fews years ago and was over the moon when round table opened up locally. The first one was decent down by 410 and blanco but the new one in stone oak off the 281 is a very nice store and location. The first couple pizzas started off a little rocky but the employees are so great. Today I got the perfect traditional RT pizza. Perfect sauce amount and tasted like the ones back home. I have been here a few times & i really like that i can get a quick & easy lunch and the service is amazing. Everyone is really friendly & helpful. The salad bar has a great variety of fresh ingredients and the creamy caesar dressing is the best. I usually get a huge salad & eat only 1-2 slices of my personal pizza... then have enough leftovers for a second meal. First time trying this place and I'm not impressed. Haven't even gotten my order yet and it's been a 40 minutes wait for a personal cheese pizza, a meat and cheese only sub and a sub from their menu. I'm STILL waiting. Mark my words, I will NOT be back or ordering from them again. as a west coast girl, I was so excited to see RT come to Texas. The location that closed at 410/Blanco was amazing. Since they closed I've now ordered from the 281 location and they just can't get their act together, they literally skimp on all the toppings even when you order and pay for "extra". San Antonians won't know how good RT is elsehere. BTW, skip their boneless wings, they are basically Tyson chicken nuggets with again, nothing substantial on them, because adding the flavored sauce you ordered, would be too much to ask. The absolute worst when it comes to getting your rewards for all the many times you've ordered online. The multiple times I have requested help because I can't get my rewards or log into my account as it somehow does not want to recognize my username and password when I try to log in. I reset my password and it still doesn't recognize my username or password. The username is my email address. There are no mistakes there no with my password. I'm taking my business some place else as their rewards progam SUCKS and they don't even really try to connect and fix the issue with individual customers; they blow you off because they have a good in person customer base right now. If that ever changes; then they will be reaching out to customers they've lost which I will be one as there are other pizza joints in the surrounding area. Grew up eating Round Table in California, and I have had the 410 location as well. 281 location is great except for one major thing- the crust. If you've never had round table before you won't notice but Compared to the many other locations I've been the 281 location consistently make their crust much thinner than other round tables. Great taste, excellent staff, clean tables- but their crust is always thinner than everywhere else which makes it feel like it's not round table. Hopefully they fix it so I can change/ update my review because it really is a well run and great tasting location. read more
