SERVICE IS VERY BAD!!!!!!!! I stopped in the restaurant and ordered a pizza from their cashier. It took them 35 minutes to realize that no one had given me my pizza. It had been sitting on the top of the oven for over 20 minutes. 100% honest - When the guy who took my order handed me my pizza, I told him that it was sitting there for a very long time. His response was to open the box and look. I opened it, and he said "are we good?". No heart or compassion. He should have apologized or showed some concern. And thats the difference between poor service and good service. Message to the owner: Even with great tasting pizza, your business will not succeed without great customer service. You should re-train your employees to smile, make conversation and give eye contact to their customers. They should also check-in with the customer if they've been waiting more than 10-15 minutes to let them know that their pizza is almost out. read more

When I first saw the sign for Round Table as I moved into my new apartment, I thought, "rad a neighborhood furniture store." I took a few weeks to unpack my bedroom furniture when I realized that I forgot to bring my bed. That's when I remembered the super cool furniture store down the street. But when walked in I found that Round Table sold more than furniture they served pizza too. They had very low pressure sales staff, it was like they didn't want me to take the table at all. There were no beds, but I was able to take two tables from Round Table and put them together to make a bed. I still use it today, and it was surprisingly comfortable. I only have two complaints. I wish the tables they sold were actually round, and I wish they hadn't called the police when I took the tables. Other than that they are bar none my favorite furniture store on Friars, and the pizza's not bad either. read more

I hate when a small business might not be perfect. HAHA. Every time my family, softball team or baseball team went to this location, it has always been perfect. The restaurant business is tough no matter the situation. The owners and employees have always been top notch and been great with the service. When people write bad reviews it's very interesting and you get a sense of why they write bad reviews. Either they've never made a mistake or they've never given anyone an opportunity to make up for that mistake, no matter what the business offers to make things right. All I have to say is this Round Table is the best and have always gone above and beyond for us. Even when I go there and don't throw Izak's name around, the employees are still great. I worked at a Round Table as a kid in NorCal. I live in Boston now and the pizza out there is just really different than West Coast pizza. East Coast pizza is thin crust and has really bland sauce that's almost sweet. I've missed West Coast zesty sauce. This Round Table was excellent. It had been years since I had RT and this one was better than I remembered. We ordered a thick crust pepperoni pizza, and the proportions of sauce to cheese to pepperoni were perfect. The crust had the smallest thin and crispy bottom layer on the bottom, and the rest was doughy, fluffy, and all around fantastic. Eating this pizza brought back so many fond childhood memories for me- birthday parties, sleepover parties, and of course- Friday and Saturday nights in high school working at RT. We ordered our usual King Arthur and tonight the pizza was ON POINT! We requested light sauce and the pizza was perfect! The crust was crunchy and the pizza was cooked perfectly. Came here during opening week. This use to be Oliva Ristorante but I'm glad it's now Round Table Pizza. Their pizza has always been the best compared to the other big chain pizza places and this one didn't disappoint! The place has been remolded and redecorated. Minimalistic and clean. The place is very small compared to other Round Table locations. There's an outdoor patio with picnic tables so you can bring your doggies. They take your order at the front. Staff were very friendly. We ordered the garlic parmesan twists and Italian garlic supreme pizza. There's plenty of TVs to look at while you wait for your food. Since it's their opening week there's definitely some learning curve. I can tell the staff looking a bit confused when trying to figure out who ordered what but at least they did it with a smile. The garlic parmesan twists came first. Yummy! Came hot and not overcooked. Good amount of fresh cheese. Pizza came second. Again hot and fresh. Crust had just the right crunch to it. Toppings were plentiful and tasted fresh. Everything tasted great! Overall good decent pizza and good service for a pizza chain place. Will definitely be coming back. read more

Took my nieces here tonight. Ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, and we were all deeply disappointed. The pizza was stale, sauce was too spicy, and the regular crust seemed too thick. For the price I paid for the pizza, it was deeply disappointing. Additionally, one of the guys making the pizzas wore his cap backwards like he's at home. Won't ever return to Round Table Pizza again. We should've just gone to my regular spots . Sometimes, it's not worth substituting convenience for quality. Just disappointed overall. read more

I did not realize how overpriced Round Table Pizza is until I came here one night for a late dinner as a last resort. The medium pizza I ordered -- generally around $10-15 at a typical restaurant -- ended up being somewhere around $20. Don't get me wrong, the food is decent and the staff here are fine, but a $20 medium pizza is enough to turn me off from the restaurant altogether. We ordered a pizza and wings online for delivery at 4pm yesterday. It was supposed to arrive by 4:40. We have it extra time before calling thinking they might be busy. When I called I spoke to Jacob who apologized right away and told me he would get the order out right away. No round table repeats for me at this location! The worst "lunch buffet" experience here... both the radio and TVs are loud and competing (and we were told that's intended when we complained), we walked it to 2 pieces of cheese pizza on the buffet and that's it, everything coming out was sausage focused. They don't have a salad bar, but they do offer a garden salad. Although the pictures have cucumbers they don't carry any at this location. I should have listened when someone at work said "it's not what you would expect". The staff was nice and threw a pepperoni pizza in to add to the buffet upon request, but I don't understand why that's not automatically a part of it. Nice to have a Round Table Pizza in this area! The place has delicious pizza, good service and a stellar craft (on draft) beer selection. Everything was clean and tidy and was able to park right out front. Noticed they had nice picnic tables on the patio with a view of the golf course but sat inside to watch ESPN-They have quite a few newer flat screen tv's.
