Pizza was great! We got the chicken garlic pizza and it came out quickly and tasted amazing! We also got the soup of the day (tomato Florentine) which was also delicious. Stopped in for pizza with the fam and left full and happy. Delicious pizza: crispy, fluffy crust and fresh ingredients. I got a personal garlic tomato. My son got a personal pepperoni sausage. Thumbs up on both. My wife and her mom got a medium round-up (works) pizza and we had a few tasty pieces left over. Friendly family service is an understatement: a kid, looked like the server's school-age daughter, accompanied her to our table. OMGosh! This place is fanTAStic! We're visiting Cambria for one night and didn't feel like driving any place to find dinner since we'd been driving all day. We found their printed menu at the hotel lobby, then got online to peruse it in detail. We ordered a Medium 1/2-&-1/2 pizza: Jody's & Mediterranean (which I'd subbed black olives for the spinach). I wasn't able to complete the order or make any substitutions online, so I called the restaurant directly. The response was immediate and the ordering process was easy, with the substitution being no problem. She quoted me 35 minutes for delivery, and I don't think it was even 20 minutes. The delivery guy was super smiley and friendly, clearly enjoying life. The pizza was piping hot, like they pulled it out of the oven just seconds before, and, then it was time to taste. Wow. This was some of the tastiest pizza we've had -- and we just had pizza in North Beach SF last night which was good, but not THIS good! I am so glad we chose to order delivery from Round Up Pizza. It was quick, convenient, absolutely delicious, and one of the most positive dining experiences we've had in a long time. Well done! read more

We had had a full morning with a tour of the Hearst Castle, and walking along the Moonstone Beach boardwalk and along Cambria's Main Street. We were hungry and wanted an unpretentious restaurant that would serve us good food relatively quickly. JBJ's Round Up Pizza and Grub fit the bill! We shared a 12" medium Vegetarian pizza ($24) that featured onions, bell peppers, olives, fresh tomato, and mushrooms. It was amazing!! The pizza came to our table piping hot, straight from the brick oven. The chewy homemade dough was complemented by the slightly caramelized vegetables and generous gooey blend of mozzarella and jack cheeses. My husband supplemented this with a beer, while I had an iced tea. Behind pizzas, the restaurant features an extensive menu, including starters, salads, burgers, subs, Tex-Mex, and sweets. I have to admit that we were tempted by the ice cream sign but, alas, we were too full from the pizza. The decor of the restaurant is early American saloon, but it is well lit. Staff were efficient. Only had pizza here, although they have a lot of other menu items. It's good, if kinda middle of the road. By that I mean it's not NY style, nor over- or under-topped, not too much or too little cheese. If you're visiting Cambria and want pizza, it'll be fine. Would this be your #1 pizza spot in your town? Maybe, maybe not. Prices are in line with most pizza spots. They do deliver, but I usually just go pick it up (it's on Main Street, easy street parking.) One of these days I'll try something else on the menu...will let you know. read more

We placed a phone order for a jumbo pizza and large salad to pick up. When we arrived, the person at the counter told us it would be a few more minutes, so we had a beer while waiting. Eventually, the fellow brought out our order. We drove home and discovered that the order was totally incorrect- they had given someone else our food and given them ours. We were all hungry and far enough away that we couldn't bring ourselves to take it back and wait again for the correct order to be prepared. Moral of the story - check your order carefully before leaving the restaurant. Anyone can make a mistake, but it sucks to be on the receiving end of it. read more

Loved the inside, it's very homey and western. The staff is super sweet and friendly. We got a large salad, and a jumbo pizza, and their classic root beer. Nothing to complain about, everything was great, would recommend stopping by this place if your coming through town!! read more

We wanted to share a pizza for dinner one night while in Cambria, so we looked up local pizza places, liked JBJ's menu, so we gave them a call, placed and order for a Mediterranean pizza to be picked up by us. The pizza was ready to go, we brought it to our hotel rooms, still hot, nice looking and we dived in. All the ingredients were fresh, especially the spinach and they don't skimp on feta cheese, which I love on a pizza. Delicious pizza, nice sized (got the bigger one for 4 people). One of the very few pizza places in town - heck the very few eateries at that - in Cambria is JBJ's Round Up Pizza & Grub. I will get my dislikes over with from the get-go (4/22/19): - bland pizza - must use key to restroom - when asked if we could have more napkins, we weren't brought nearly enough FOOD We had a medium pizza with pepperoni and sausage. It came out piping hot and not outrageously greasy (as one might expect with the amount of cheese and carnivorous options), but the sauce OR SOMETHING was bland - especially compared to their marinara sauce that we had to ask for with our mozzarella sticks. Since the sauce is all the same, not sure how it was not as savory as expected. The cheesesticks were pretty good, but just know that they serve them with Ranch dressing instead. To drink, our girls had these adorable little Martinelli's glass (*gasp* I know right for two kiddos under the age of 6?!) bottles of apple juice. The hubbins and I each had Henry Weinhard's vanilla cream soda since they were out of orange. It was cold and refreshing. ENVIRONMENT The outside reminds you of a saloon, so does the inside aside from the fact that there are a couple of arcade games and a flat screen with a homemade sun shield to block the rays incoming from a skylight. Me and the wife decided to do a quick mini vaca. Had a fun filled busy day and were tired and didn't want to really go anywhere...so we decided to order pizza! I'm really picky when it comes to pizza sauce. I must say that the pizza sauce was amazing. The bite into the fresh mozzarella cheese and tomatoey garlic sauce made my mouth explode. The dough was just right, not to soft and not to hard!! The bread sticks were warm and had a buttery Parmesan flavor...went perfect with that awesome marinara sauce. The delivery driver was nice and followed COVID-19 regulations. If we're ever in the neighborhood again and are craving pizza, This will be the place. The pizza crust is so crispy and the toppings are nice and moist, not dry. I love how the pizza doesn't sag in my hand while I'm trying to eat it. I had the Jody's Special and it was wonderful, so flavorful! The service is always friendly and accommodating, giving a refreshing reminder of the term, "service with a smile." The ambience is modest, not fancy at all. It place is small but gives a relaxing western vibe with subtlle nuances like a flat screen tv and arcade games. Our new favorite place! read more

I came to Cambria at evening just for a weekend and nothing worked after 8pm except this pizza place. I am happy I found this place, pizza was hot and tasty, I was eating it for the next day too at the hotel, ingredients are good and flavor is tasty. I would recommend to add some seafood into Mediterranean pizza but it is not too important, all other things are good and prices are adequate. I recommend that place! read more

It bums me out that JBJ's gets a bad rap. JBJ's is on our list of places we like to eat when we visit Cambria every summer. The pizza isn't out of this world; I'll admit that, but it is good. And they know how to season their food - imagine that. My daughter tried a burrito for the first time (we usually just get fries and pizza, whereas others in our group might get chicken or a burger) and she really liked it. Also, their staff is amazing. I love how friendly, welcoming, and patient they are (my young sons cup broke and we had to clean up water and they were very gracious about it). We'll see you next year, JBJ's! read more

The only thing real is the beer , the pizza is the biggest imitation I've ever tried to eat , you can buy the same pizza at any grocery store , I do not recommend you go there , the waitress was awesome, friendly and warm , it's not her fault the foods a lie . read more

REALLY disappointed. First, we asked for water for our dog, and the server told us we can grab our own bowl and fill it up at the sink ourselves. Ok, not a huge deal, but isn't that part of customer service? Then I asked for lemon for my water. They don't have any. Lime? Anything? Nothing. Ok, not a big deal. Strange, but not a dealbreaker. However, then I ordered a burger and asked for the 1000 Island on the side. I received a side of 1000 Island....but it was also caked on both the top and bottom buns of my burger. Not what I wanted or asked for at all. I waited for the server to check on us so I could let her know, but she never did. So I just ate a few bites of my burger, figuring it was an honest mistake. But there was so much 1000 Island on it that I couldn't eat more than 3-4 bites. Furthermore, I had asked for a side of BBQ sauce for my fries. Then we were charged 50 cents for the sauce. The menu lists ranch, peppercinis, salsa, jalapeños, marinara sauce, and sour cream as up-charges. However, NOWHERE is it listed that BBQ sauce is extra. It is *highly unethical* to charge a customer something that is not listed on the menu - it doesn't matter if it's 50 cents or 50 dollars. I used to be a server for many years, which is why I was so understanding up until this point of our meal. When I brought this up to the manager, and told her this is highly unethical and they need to either put it on the menu as an up-charge or have the server tell the customer that it's extra $, the manager (young, brunette) simply told me, "That's not the server's job." Not once did she apologize or even say, "Thank you for bringing that to my attention; we will add it to the menu." Instead, she gave me attitude. She did take the burger off our bill - but still charged us for the BBQ sauce. When I told her I was a server, she said to me, "Then you should understand. I was going to remake your burger for you, but since you're a server, I'm not going to anymore." I told her we had been very patient and understanding up to that point - but at some point, enough is enough. The manager then accused me of wrongdoing, stating, "If you're a server, why did you take a few bites out of this? Why didn't you tell the server?" I told the manager we were very understanding and patient, but after the server delivered our food (when I asked for a drink refill), she returned with the drink refill never to return again or check on us to see if everything was all right. Thus, I did not have the opportunity to bring the issue up with our server. The manager responded with, "She's too busy right now. Being a server, you should understand." EXCUSE ME!? The server is too busy with 4 tables to check up on us one time? If that's the case, it's the MANAGER'S job to check up on the tables and help your server as much as possible. I brought up legitimate concerns, and the manager took no responsibility and continued to blame me. No wonder this place only has 3.5 stars. This might be the last time we don't check Yelp reviews before eating somewhere. To top it off, my fiancé said his Margherita pizza tasted like it was pre-made, frozen then heated back up. His favorite food in the world is Margherita pizza, and he couldn't even finish it. That should tell you something. read more

Best part for me. - 1st pizza on the menu $24 for a medium - 2/5: lacked flavor; the pizza itself was hard like cardboard. Not a fan of their pizza. - cup of clam chowder $8 - 2/5: lacks flavor of the clams, mostly was thick and full of starch Restaurant overpriced their food so be on the lookout.
