Super yummy food. We were able to split a medium pizza between the 3 of us and had left overs. The garlic fries were also a nice appetizer. Nothing compares to the service received and awesome hospitality. Such a cozy nook!

Cinnamon rolls

We decided to try their cinnamon rolls after driving by this place every time we head to Cambria. We were really looking forward to them, but unfortunately we were very disappointed. The cinnamon rolls were dry and had a fermented taste. We took them home and tried eating them a few hours later, hoping they might be better, but they weren't. They were so unpleasant that we ended up throwing them away right after taking this picture. Based on this experience, we wouldn't even consider coming back to try their pizza. If the cinnamon rolls are this bad, it doesn't leave us with much confidence in the rest of the menu.

Service was great, pizza was great, wine was great. No complaints here! I'll come back next time I'm in town.

Service was fast and very friendly. They are normally very busy went on a Monday. Pizza was great and crispy and soft in the inside. Got a large so I can have leftovers. Still great later cold. Mmm. Place was clean.

First time in here in many years. Monica, the owner is very pleasant, and Carla has a great personality. Pizza was amazing, just the right amount of toppings, and the crispy crust was awesome! Very tasty, everything was fresh and made to order. Great prices, and the place was spotless. I highly recommend this place, great beer selection as well. I really enjoy sitting at the bar time to time and drinking my blue moon on tap. This place has a little bit of everything, from hamburgers, to tasty appetizers and their pizza. I'll be back.

This restaurant caught our eye because it served pizza. They had a nice patio in the back (dogs allowed). We ordered their Pesto Spaghetti, Chicken Pizza, and Garlic Bread. It was all so flavorful, especially the spaghetti. Sometimes when you order pesto pasta, you get a little "over" it. This dish had a creamy, rich and delicious sauce. If anything, we wanted more pasta and pesto! The waitress was so sweet and made suggestions for us to try. We even ended up getting dessert: homemade cinnamon roll! I would come back.

My friends and I enjoyed a much-needed dinner here after a 2 day/1 night backpacking trip on the Kirk Creek Campground-Vicente Flat trail. They were probably one of the more affordable options on Main St that wasn't giving food court vibes... Italian food is comfort food down the line, and this bowl of alfredo did the job! It seemed like a small portion at first but I quickly got so full. None of us had room for the pizza :(

Great service, pizza is the vest, period. Nice local wine selection...we go here at least once every-time we are up north

If I'm being totally honest, we came here because it was one of only two places in the entire town that was open late and dog friendly, so our options were limited. They have a dog friendly patio in the back but you can't get to it without walking through the alley and we didn't feel like sitting out in the cold anyway so I waited in the covered entry while my husband ordered us some sandwiches and fries to go. The decor was dark and outdated but there was a little bench by a tree where I was able to wait comfortably. The prices were a little high, the wait was a little long and in the end, the food ended up being disappointing, especially for what we paid. However, there were a few families inside having pizza, so I am willing to concede we may have just made the wrong menu choice for this particular location.

The creamy pesto pasta with spinach was recommended by my server over the pizza. It was tasty, but the portion could've been bigger. And garlic bread was 3 bucks extra, and THAT portion could've been bigger, too. I'd do the pizza if I came again. The ambience was warm and woodsy. The service was attentive and pleasant. An okay experience, but not exciting.

Half & half jumbo garlic chicken and margharita

Not awful, it's okay pizza but the pictures online are VERY deceiving, was expecting a different quality of pizza for $38. Service was good, staff was very nice.

This is a central California chain, with a few sister locations nearby, and another one in Fresno…read more(Doghouse Grill-right across the street from CSU Fresno). I have frequented both the Cambria and Fresno locations, partially due to the consistently decent service and mostly due to the quality and quick food. It doesn't matter if you show up right when they open, or if you arrive when there's a line out the door waiting to place orders, service is always much quicker than you'd expect. Food is decent--whether you get a salad (note-the side or small salad is huge--it fills a full to-go container), fish and chips, a sandwich or burger. Substitutions are usually not an issue, and ranch/bbq sauces are available at no extra charge. I'm generally impressed with how absolutely fresh the lettuce and veggies are for the salads. I really have grown used to spending $10 or more for a much smaller salad at other locations and have grown accustomed to picking out wilted/rotted veggies and lettuce. Not here-everything is cold, crisp and fresh. Meat is seasoned well-- and the fries are plentiful. There is usually plenty of seating, whether inside or on the patio. Parking can be rough along Main Street, but if you're patient, you can usually find something fairly close. It does help that the grill is towards the end of the street. Rest rooms are limited and often running low on supplies. It can be quite a wait during busy times. In all, this is a great place for quick and decent food. It is consistently enjoyable for the whole family. We'll definitely be back whenever we visit.

We love the scenery going up, but we also love seeing the old store and the beautiful location right by the old Hearst warehouses that held all the treasures that he was importing from Europe to put in Hearst castle, which is right across the street and up the mountain. They're always tourists there, who are very friendly! Sometimes we share a table with people and learn about where they're from and how they're touring California. We even give them a hint or two on what we like around town. There's nothing like local knowledge to help you out when you're traveling. We were sitting with a couple from England the other day who were touring the coast and we were able to give them a hint or two about what to see while they were here and also which tour to take at her castle! (The guest house tour is great, you get to see the real undisturbed castle interiors.) On our most recent visit, Sebastian's had wine tasting out on the patio. Patio seating is limited, because they reserve three tables for wine tasting!! We did discover a lot more seating had been added out in what used to be a horse corral, so we ambled on over there. We sat at a high table, kinda on the path out to the horse corral, where there was shade. We sat in observed all the other people coming and going while we enjoyed our delicious Californian sandwich!

We ordered the beef tenderloin tips, signature chicken pot pie, ollalieberry burger, and braised beef stroganoff. We especially enjoyed the beef tenderloin tips and the burger. Seeing that there was a Patio and that everywhere I had been up to that point, including our hotel, had allowed dogs, I walked over with my tiny pup in his little carry bag. When we arrived, I saw that the patio was enclosed, so I realized I might have to take my pup back to the hotel, but then saw an open air spot with tables and chairs in the parking lot. I would have been willing to sit there and order, so my companion went to ask if that was possible, but was given a very quick and rude "we're not pet friendly", which I was an attitude I was already catching on to as I walked closer and saw unnecessarily large "no pets" signs. I was offended, not for the policy, but because I was already starting to see that was the case & it would have been so easy just to say it gently or nicely & acknowledge that our inquiry was no longer about coming into the restaurant or patio at all. That response made the difference between us taking the doggo back to the hotel room to return for dinner or writing a negative review apparently, because it felt condescending and no food experience is worth feeling unwelcome - especially when every place surrounding the area was completely pet friendly. They are located on a beach, but that day with not-so-relaxed vibes when a simple redirect would have been perfectly fine. I'm a pet person, and it's ok if that's not something you accommodate, I completely understand (especially, sadly, because some pet owners are not responsible, and their pets act like animals and not necessarily family members) - but there's no excuse for being rude when your entire job is service. You're in a beach spot where people come to relax with the people (or animal companions) they love most, no need to have an unfortunate attitude. :( Sorry restaurant/ chef/ other staff, I really would have liked to try the food. P.S. Dog-friendly places can happily have all my money, cheers to patio dining in (most of) California.
