California Benedict with Ruby's smashed potatoes
    Eunice B.

Really loved discovering this little spot! A friend of mine recently moved into the neighborhood and wanted to check it out. I'm sure on a weekend, it's probably a lot busier, but it has a classic diner vibe. We got a mix of donut holes, which came out hot from the fryer, and we were able to get both dipping sauces and both were delicious. My eggs Benedict was tasty; the eggs were cooked perfectly and the croissant was fluffy and crunchy. The potatoes were so good - I loved that they were a mix of yellow, purple, and red potatoes. Our server was very sweet and made sure my coffee cup never got below half.

I have never seen pastries that are so beautifully made! And they taste like a dream too. We had breakfast here and though the wait for food was long, the food was worth it!! Our server Andre was very friendly and fun to talk to. We went back the next day to just get pastries to take home so feel free to judge me for going two days in a row! Pricing was reasonable, seating indoors and outdoors is a nice opinion

I had been wanting to check out this place for awhile! I was finally in the area and checked it out! It's in Park Hill near Central Park! Their smashed breakfast potatoes were SO delicious, hearty, and plentiful! I also ordered toasted sesame waffle and some chicken sausage with black coffee. I sat at the counter. There was plenty of restaurant seating both indoor and outdoor. Warm smiles were received from the staff as well as friendly conversation. It was early morning and not too busy yet. I loved the sun coming into the restaurant and shining on my food on the counter. It feels spacious inside with a coffee cafe walkup area as well as the seated area. I got a few biscuits to take home with me as well! The menu is very eclectic with interesting international flavors! I will be back to try more!

I wanted to five star this place because it's so cute and in a great neighborhood but unfortunately the service wasn't great (and it wasn't that packed) and the food was slightly above average. BY FAR the best thing about this place are their yummy croissants! Those get a 10 out of 10 for sure. I did swap the potatoes for a fresh salad and the dressing was also yummy. As a self proclaimed eggs benny expert I'll give this one 8.1 out of 10.

Was sending stuff out at the post office and thought I would give this new spot a try. I was very happy I did. The place has a mod feel to it and has table seating inside and out. There is also one large community table in the center. Staff is friendly and gave the right amount of space to enjoy the meal. My breakfast order was delicious (tried the traditional American with a biscuit), had an iced Americano and a fresh squeezed juice. Not sure what spices they place into the potatoes but they were delicious. The pastry display shouldn't be skipped. Ended up taking home fresh made donut holes and some of their other pastries. Had one after dinner and it was delicious. It also has a bar with a decent number of offerings and speciality cocktails. I didn't have any on this visit. I hope to see this place thrive as the atmosphere and food are great. I asked the waiter and they said weekends get very busy so be prepared for a crowd then but it makes for a nice low key weekday spot to go to with friends or even alone.

I got the kimchi fried rice for brunch this morning. It was so flavorful and delicious! The service was great. Our server was able to thoughtfully accommodate our son with a diary allergy. They have high chairs and water cups with lids for the kids. They have a couple of kids menu options as well.

This is a lovely restaurant that serves as a perfect community meeting place, offering a beautiful bar where you can also sit. This bright and sunny location will be a place I will love to bring friends. The food is delicious and presented beautifully. Our server, Jonathan, was exceptional and very informative. The parking is easy on the side streets. The indoor and outdoor seating offers many options such as a private dining area, community table, booths, tables, and all the chairs are comfortable. I love the neighborhood location! La Croissanterie is located inside Ruby's and provides the pastries, coffees, teas, and pressed juices. These pastries are melt-in-your-mouth amazing! This is a great idea and concept of brunch all day!

The pastries were gorgeous and flew out of the case. I arrived for our reservation and there was one pistachio croissant left. I had my eye on it and had every intention on getting it but the person in front of the got it and it was the last one. So sad! The Bloody Marys were good and the food was good too. The service was intentionally slow but friendly. I loved the music from the DJ. Everyone enjoyed their food and we had a nice time. Good but not great. Maybe the pastry would have but it over the top for me. Cute little neighborhood spot.

I recently visited this spot for the first time, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. Upon letting the waiter know it was our first visit, I began asking questions about the menu, but before I could even finish, he started putting my order in. Even after I mentioned that I wanted to check with my husband first, he proceeded to enter my order. When he came back to me, I informed him I hadn't made my decision yet and needed to figure out my order. He had to go all the way back to the kitchen to cancel it, which was already off to a frustrating start. I also asked the waiter if the chicken sandwich was made with white or dark meat, and he didn't know, so he had to go ask in the kitchen. When he came back, he informed me it was dark meat, so I decided to cancel it and ordered the American breakfast instead. The American breakfast consisted of eggs, your choice of bacon, chicken sausage, or turkey sausage, and either toast or a biscuit. My husband had the same, but with chicken sausage, while I opted for bacon. Unfortunately, the biscuits were cold, served with even colder butter and thawed-out frozen strawberries. My eggs even had pieces of rice in them, which was pretty off-putting. My husband's mushroom gravy was more like watered-down broth than anything else. A few other things added to the disappointment. Since when does a chicken sandwich come with thigh meat instead of breast? And when I was trying to change my order and ask about the menu, the waiter gave me an attitude, almost as if he didn't have time for any of my questions. Also, my husband asked for coffee, and when it came, he had to ask for cream. The server mentioned the cream would take sometime low, and when it finally arrived, he just dropped it on the table with the stirrers. No effort to make the experience feel welcoming or thoughtful. The atmosphere was decent, with a DJ playing music, but honestly, that couldn't make up for the lackluster service and food. When we were finished, the waiter suggested we come back another day for a better experience, which just felt like an excuse for the poor service we received today. It's disappointing, because no matter how new or established a place is, the experience and the quality of food should always be top-notch. There should never be excuses for why something doesn't taste good or why your service isn't up to par. Sadly, I won't be sharing this location as one to dine at.

Very cute inside and big patio for the summer. We all loved our food and very nice service. My kids said the pancakes were amazing!

Delicious! Super buttery and flaky freshly baked croissants! Everyone was very friendly and attending, and even helped me celebrate my mom's birthday. We were going to pickup the croissants but the place had such cute vibes we opted to sit in the associated restaurant. It was a cold snowy day so we were offered hot water instead of the standard cold water, which was much appreciated. Made it feel more cozy and homely.

This was my first and last visit to this restaurant. I had never heard of it and was excited to try it so I drove 45 minutes each way to make the visit with my daughter in a wheelchair. The tables are not that accessible to begin with and rather small so we had to sit in a booth. The space is open and modern so that was a plus! The food and service was horrifying to say the least. The waiter took my drink order and it took nearly 45 minutes to get a mimosa and a latte. He didn't come back to take my food order or come ask how the experience was going. The only food item that was good was the biscuit and peach jam. The wings were not cleaned properly. The wings need to be cleaned, soaked in kosher salt, and re-rinsed before putting the seasoning on them. The eggs were not scrambled softly but fried too hard for my daughter to eat. We both love food & clean our plates but we left it on the plate at the table. I'm very disappointed in the food and service...I would've been happy if this was an upscale soup kitchen where you could pay by donation only.

Lary and the bartender served us and helped us with recommendations for food and drinks! Service was great, they knew what they were talking about, we got our drinks and food so fast as well! New favorite brunch place unlocked, can't wait to come back and try more off the menu!

Owners Duc Huynh and his wife Dominique moved the concept to Park Hill in 2021 , and what they built here is hard to categorize in the best way. It's a craft coffee shop and boutique plant store in one -- and somehow both sides of that equation feel equally intentional rather than one being an afterthought. The menu leans into lavender lattes, Vietnamese iced coffee, and chai, alongside croissants and breakfast burritos -- a lineup that reflects the shop's AAPI-owned roots and a clear point of view on what coffee can be. The Vietnamese iced coffee in particular earns its reputation: rich, layered, and grounding in a way that a standard cold brew just isn't. The lavender latte is a regular on people's standing orders for good reason. The seating situation is worth noting -- swing chairs and limited spots mean arriving early on weekends pays off. Street parking is the move. Best for solo mornings, slow catch-ups with a friend, or anyone who wants to leave with a new plant and a drink they'll be thinking about on the drive home. Open daily 8am-3pm -- get there before the rush.

The person taking my order was very friendly and welcoming. I got a lavender latte with macadamia nut milk (which I highly recommend) it was nice and creamy and paired well with the lavender. I also got a bonfire burrito, which was also tasty and filling. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the shop, hard not to since it was filled with plants, plant care items, cards, jewelry and fun stickers. Look forward to coming back in the future!
