Delicious crispy Eggplant Parm Entree with large side of Linguini. For $20, I received a generous portion of Eggplant Parm and an entire to go container of linguini smothered in marinara sauce. My pick is for Eggplant Parm entree over the sub, the sub isn't as flavorful and you get a lot more with the entree! I agree with fellow Yelpers that I wish Garlic Bread was offered with the Entree and fries would be nice with the sub.

This is the "bar" which, if you look carefully, is full of empty bottles. WTF!?!?

The chef is actually really talented and the food can be tasty. But they never have drinks!!! They are constantly out of alcohol as the owner is too cheap to have more than one bottle of booze at any time. They have 20 bottles displayed but most of them are empty - Jack, Buffalo Trace, Jim Beam.... all empty. I really liked going here and have spent a lot of money but my boys and I are going to the horrible Ocean Shack or Cowboy -- they actually manage their bar. God forbid you have lime, or lemon, or more than 2 wine selections. This place is now sort of an embarrassment. Although the parking in back is pretty good. Get it together on the bar!!

Our little neighborhood classic. It's like walking into a warm hug... with great food. No pretense, chill vibe, low-key server (perhaps named "Sid"?) with a wicked sense of humor. Tender veal parm, and outstanding seafood pasta with cream sauce. Love to support our locals - especially when it means a solid meal alongside a nice bottle of Chianti!

Met up with a friend for dinner here after passing this establishment many times. An old time place for sure, but was it good, I had wondered. We started with the garlic bread which when it came looked ordinary but smelled good. I dribbled on some of the marinara sauce and took a bite and was hooked! It and the house Merlot and I could have called it a night. But I ordered the parmigiana with the pasta and it was magnificent! I get it, it's old school and parking in back of the restaurant is not optimal but why was this restaurant empty? Service was good. Prices were reasonable....

Been going here since 1994 but after tonight, no more. Salab was mostly brownish lettuce. Entree was rancid, thrown away.

When I had ordered previously, I always found that my pie was not ready and I had to wait. Each time, I waited a bit longer, and each time, still not ready. So, this time, ordered my pizza before 9:00 PM and did not depart immediately -- but instead waited a full 20 minutes before even walking there slow. When I arrived, the pizza was..... still not ready. It occurs to me that this shop is situated in a time zone that is somehow TEN MINUTES BEHIND the time your order is due. The guy says "five minutes." In any case, I stand, I wait.... and I.... wait some more. It wasn't five minutes. Lots of workers standing. Nearing the 9:30 mark, someone finally says "have you been helped?" And whadda ya know? Found out the reason I was still waiting - BECAUSE MY PIE WAS SITTING THERE THE WHOLE DAMN TIME! Getting cold. She says "we're just getting that cut up." But they weren't - it was already cut. They took one of their old pies off the rack and slid it right into a box. It wasn't in the oven. I could feel it was cold, but yes, I took it and went home. I can't say you couldn't eat it but.... it wasn't good. We did eat some of it, but only after baking it in my own oven. Good thing I ordered in advance, eh? If you are going to do a take out here, my advice would be to skip ordering altogether, and just go there and get the slices yourself. They won't be too fresh, but at least it will be fast. Better yet, go across the street to Quincy Hall, (or over to Wise Guys) where they will bake the pizza to order and have it hot and ready when you arrive. Keep in mind here they charge $32 for a pizza, full price only. NOT worth it, won't be back, do not recommend.

We started with the grilled octopus (which were alright) and the arancini that were amazing! The complimentary focaccia bread they give you is also great (pro tip - dip it in the red sauce that comes with the arancini). For our mains, we got their signature linguini cardinale and the recommended seafood carbonara. Both the pastas were cooked to perfect al dente and were very large portions with lots of seafood. The linguini cardinale deserves every single praise as each bite is rich and indulgent. We ended with the strawberry cheesecake which was good, but very standard. The space is a bit dark and can feel cramped but overall, I had a great time and enjoyed the food. I would happily spend all my adult money here! The pasta was absolutely incredible, and the arancini balls were some of the best I've had. Even the bread and butter stood out--the bread was soft and warm with the perfect crunchy crust.
