I came here on a recommendation from a friend who said this pizza is the best around, he was not lying. If you like New York style pizza this is absolutely the place to go. I got a single slice of pepperoni for $5 and the Caesar salad for $13.50. The pizza itself was a good sized slice, the foldability to pick it up and eat was perfect. It had a nice crispy bottom that allowed for a little crunch, cheese was nice and stringy, & the crust is a nice ending. The salad was a good size for the price, however it was very mid. Some of the lettuce was bitter, the chicken was lacking, the Caesar dressing along with the cheese & croutons were very generic. The Service was mediocre I saw the servers bringing plates to everyone but she left mine at the counter to pick up. Also got a bottled water that ended being about four bucks. The bagels were overall really good! I got the avocado and cucumber bagel and added turkey for $2. Ended up being a little pricey for what it was, however the great presentation and fruit on the side were a nice touch. My boyfriend and friend got a bacon and egg bagel, and a bacon and avocado bagel. They said the texture of the bacon made it difficult to eat because it was thick and chewy, but the flavor was good. I would've liked my bagel to be toasted a bit more as well as the bagel was a bit chewy from being under-toasted. I got a turkey avocado, Panini and when it was served to me, the sandwich was barely grilled, and it definitely was not Panini pressed. The staff was also very young and were not on top of it, the tables were covered in crumbs, and there was leftover trash from the people before. I put my hand on the table and it got covered in jam? Was really excited to try this place. Came in to get breakfast and got the avocado toast. Was very disappointed it was about 5 bites of actual food. The toast was crostini size, and for the price I expected more. It came with moldy, dirty grapes that had egg on it, when my meal did not come with any eggs. The orange slices also had dirt on them. Visiting from out of town and walked to all the other restaurants in town first, only to decide to go here because it looked like you would actually get service and your food in a decent amount of time. Had the chicken Caesar wrap and it was amazing! Locally owned and owner was working the counter. You can tell she takes great pride in her establishment and ultimately this is why we ended up choosing it there. We went in for lunch on a Friday, and they were hopping. Waited at the counter for several minutes, while the cashier buzzed around. Saw that happen many times during our visit. The cashier also handled money(bare hands) and then grabbed a bagel(same bare hands). We sat in the back, but soon realized the food prep people near us would scream out the order name. Happened by chance to drop into Rustic for lunch. My colleagues and I were in town on business and wanted to hit Hudson's hamburger, but they were closed on Monday. We walked to a few other places and they were also closed. That's when we saw that Rustic was open and I could immediately smell their bread and pizza! I ordered a salad through UberEats today and when I received it, it was just the box, no sticker, no bag, no security whatsoever. I have no idea if my food was tampered with or not, to add, it was a $16 salad. I opened the box and they also, drizzled the dressing all over and slapped a piece of bread on top. Typically, if you order out, especially that with dips or dressings, it goes in a cup on the side. To top it off, the bread was soggy and the warm chicken beneath the ranch, warmed the ranch up, blech. I was super disappointed, and I let UberEats know my dissatisfaction, too. But, before I made this post, I called Rustic to ask if this was there policy for to-go orders through apps, such as UberEats and Doordash. I was told they usually tie it in a bag, but they're out of bags.... She didn't seem to understand what my concern was. I was starving, I ate it, but I didn't finish it, nor was it worth more than 1/4 of a star. FALSE ADVERTISING! I got a chicken parm that was advertised as having "fried chicken" in it, but i received a soggy sandwich with cut up chicken nuggets and sauce. my girlfriend got a pesto sandwich that did no better. the bread was really soggy, and the sandwich was practically inedible. hopefully the owner sees this and realizes the food quality does not match the decor and pricing. I normally don't write bad reviews even if the food was bad, but i don't like being sold chicken nuggets at fried chicken prices :( read more

I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and my husband got the baked Mac and cheese with added bacon ( for free) ! We loved the food here. Good stuff! We had the breakfast burrito and bagel breakfast sandwich.

So, I've been to Rustic 3 times and it's been a mixed bag. The first time two times I thought it was fantastic. The third time, not so much. We'll start with the big picture and then get into the details. Rustic has an interesting premise. It's got a little bit of everything. You can grab breakfast, lunch, drinks or watch a game on one of the TVs. It really is sort of a catch-all kind of space that works for the most part. It's got bar seating, high tops, and tables. It's got a great location and the atmosphere and décor are spot on. My one complaint is that the floors tend to get oddly slippery. Like seriously slippery. The last time I was there it was raining outside and if you didn't tread carefully you could easily bust your ass. Onto the food. I've only hit up Rustic for breakfast and the first two times were just awesome. I had the pancakes and then the 3 egg special. In both cases the portions were large, the quality was good and they tasted delicious. My most recent visit is where I ran into issues. I ordered the 3 egg special again and asked for the eggs to be scrambled (that's what I asked for the first time around as well). What I got was some combination fried eggs that had been chopped up. They had also been cooked either on a dirty grill or with the bacon as the egg whites were discolored. They were cold too which didn't help. In addition, the portion sizes for the potatoes and bacon had also decreased noticeably. I thought about having them redo the eggs but figured if you mess up scrambled eggs the chances of getting them right the second time aren't good. And they didn't taste bad, it just wasn't what I wanted. I'd also like to see the 3 egg special served with a little butter for the toast. Or butter on the condiment counter would suffice. You have to head back up and specifically ask for it if you want some. Not a huge deal, just annoying. While being underwhelmed by my most recent visit I don't think I'm quite ready to give up hope on them yet. My guess is that I got someone new or maybe someone was just having an off day. On the other hand, maybe they have actively decided to reduce portion sizes in order to save money. I'll venture in again at some point to make my final decision. read more
