This place was amazing! Thank you to our server Guiliano, the ambiance was so welcoming but elevated. The food was 100/10! This was our first time here. Our server was increíble! He made suggestions and made our night really special. We had the Cowboy steaks with garlic mashed potatoes and the mushroom! We could not stop talking about this dinner.

    Ready to order and eat!!

On Christmas 2025 I chose to enjoy Christmas Dinner at Ruth's Chris and am so happy I did! I've learned to enjoy life! My morning started with an amazing worship service, then an amazing meal! I'm such a creature of habit! My faves are the Stuffed Mushrooms, Sizzling Crab Cakes and Lobster Mac ‍ The consistency and quality is always on point! I also love the Stuffed Chicken Breast and Sweet Potato Casserole but have to choose! I don't eat steak yet, I love how there's many other options that are all so delicious. The service is always pleasant as well. This is why I will always come when I want to indulge!

In New Orleans, we always stay at the Harrah's Hotel next to the French Quarter. There is a Ruth Chris Steak House near the check-in counter. My wife had eaten there a few times. I've never been a huge fan of any Ruth Chris steakhouse I've eaten at, mainly because I don't like the manner in which they serve their steaks. However, after a handful of visits to this Ruth Chris, my opinion has changed. We always sit at the bar. They do have a happy hour in the bar, which is nice. We've ordered a variety of foods and cocktails. The service has been very good with the bartenders being friendly and outgoing. On our last visit, I got their lunch special, a 6-ounce filet with 3 very large fried shrimp and the vegetable of the day. My wife had the Caesar entree salad which was very good sized. My dinner salad was fine, the bread was quite good, and I received a large bowl of broccoli. The filet was delicious with the fried shrimp being very tasty. The overall cost of our meal was lower than we expected due to the happy hour prices. It's a nice quiet bar with a TV always showing a sporting event. We will continue to patronize this excellent establishment.

This is a late late post but this was one amazing meal. Freddy our server was impeccable. So nice from the start and an excellent server. He found out it was my birthday and being on Christmas Day he never met anyone with a Christmas birthday. He was certainly amused. He served me first, and he was like you know this isn't right and I knew what he meant. Since you always serve the lady first. The steak I had was so good and perfectly cook. The sides were so delicious as well. My wife's lobster was amazing. In all everything was top notch and Freddy made it extra special.

Food was amazing - we went for Fathers Day, took my husband with his mom and our son and our aunts. Service was great, very accommodating to one of our very particular aunts. lol giving 4 starts and not 5 cuz it took FOREVER to get seated, we had a 1:30p reservation and didn't seated until closer to 2pm. But once seated, experience was great. This is my 4th time here as a local and always a pleasure.

Filet & Lobster Tail Combo was on point. Had it 3 times during my stay.

The 3 times I visited were great. 1st visit food delivery was extended period and my steak was a little cold on one side. The manager heard about this, and comped my entire meal. This was great customer service that will keep you coming back. Each time I did Ruth's Classic which comes with salad, entree, side, and dessert. Everything was delicious and on point. The staff was incredible and the vibes were good. I will definitely be returning and New Orleans is also one of my favorite cities. Thanks for a great experience.

Came here for my cousin bday dinner. First time visit for us. We placed our order. The goat cheese and spinach dip came out very fast. They evidently brought out two and it was free of charge. It was very good with the garlic bread. Now mind you we ordered around 9:30 and the food just came out at 10:21. We didn't receive our salads until we asked our waiter about it and he said he assumed that we got them because we got the dip. But he didn't clear out plates with salad. So that's almost an hour that we had to wait for our food. For the first time I'm eating here I'm kind of disappointed. Now trying the food I asked for medium steak and half was well done and the other half was medium. They took it back and gave me another one. B it we was all upset that we waited so long to get our food that we just boxed it up, sang happy birthday and left. Our waiter chuck did apologize but I just wish the experience was better because we had tickets to a drag show and couldn't even go see it because dinner was very late. So we lost money on that. Maybe when I get back home to Miami I'll have to give it another try

Happy Easter 2025 , My Husband and I dined here today. Our Server Kaylin was our Server . She was my old employee. She gave us excellent service. It was great seeing her . The Manager Ice Cee Welcomed us with open arms . We was regulars , but my tragic accident slowed us up. Husband is getting me back on track .Slowly we are coming back . Food was very succulent.Thank you all.

I was looking for restaurant with consistently good food. My 6oz medium steak was juicy and flavorful, grilled shrimp was not overly cooked, and the cream spinach was well balanced. I sat in the bar area which was warm and inviting. Host and wait staff were friendly yet professional. If you are in NOLA by the river, I encourage you to check out this steakhouse.

Want bar service with non traditional bar food and watch a sporting event , Ruth Chris is the spot. No reservations for the bar area.

First off... what a beautiful ambiance and great service! For starters we got the ahi tuna, so fresh and unique flavor! We ended up with the steak lunch, great price and large servings! The filet steak is so tender and the mash potatos are very buttery. Get the lemonade, it's made fresh! The best thing by far was the caesar salad!

Rich, layered, and well-balanced with fresh elements that worked together on the plate. For entrées, we had a variety of cuts, including the Australian Wagyu, ribeye, butcher's cut, and lamb chops. The Wagyu stood out immediately. High quality, great sear, and finished tableside, which added to the overall experience without taking away from the food itself. Each steak was cooked precisely to temperature and full of flavor. The lamb chops paired with carrots and brussels were well executed and balanced. The sides complemented the meal well and did not feel like afterthoughts. You can also see their in-house dry aging setup, which speaks to the level of detail they put into their steak program. It shows in the final product. The drinks were solid across the board. The Old Fashioned and bourbon selections paired well with the meal and matched the food's quality. Service by Noelle was attentive and responsive throughout the night. Everything flowed well, and we were taken care of without feeling rushed or hovered over. This is not a casual dinner spot, but for a celebration or a night where you want a full experience, Doris Metropolitan absolutely delivers.

Overall, the experience was average and did not fully meet those expectations. The charcuterie and cheese board, priced at $68, was underwhelming in both portion size and value. It included only six thin slices of cured meat and a small selection of cheeses. Unfortunately, one of the cheeses had an unpleasant flavor that made it inedible for our table. The bread service was a highlight, offering a nice variety of breads and accompaniments. The ribeye was cooked well and enjoyable, but it did not stand out from what I've experienced at other upscale steakhouses. The five-cheese couscous was the biggest disappointment, as it lacked the rich, flavorful profile its description suggested. While the service and presentation were appreciated, the overall dining experience did not justify the high expectations or the price point.

Needless to say, this wouldn't be suitable for anyone who isn't comfortable with that kind of artwork. This place advertises burlesque shows and "Shibari", however I did not see any of that during my visit. I do not dock points though because I'm certain there's a schedule that shows when these events occur. If you're interested in seeing one, best to make sure when they're taking place. There are security cameras all over the bar so this location can remain sex-positive and safe for guests. After ordering myself a drink, I chose to relax in their bright pink room with the large bean bag and teddy bear. This was my favorite spot for its light-hearted and playful atmosphere, although the room next to it was pretty exciting as well--with its black-and-white paintings of kinky exhibitionists. During my visit, I noticed that there was a collection of leftover glasses from previous guests. Since it was a slow Sunday night, I thought there would've been ample time for an employee to clean up that area beforehand. There was one barista that night, and while she was kind and made excellent cocktails, her voice was really low--making it difficult to hear her over the music. I'm glad the bar was empty, or else I may have not been able to hear her properly. Aside from those minor concerns with cleanliness and communication, I'd still say to give Fetiche Nola a shot if you're looking for a unique place to start off a long night of partying. The brick and iron work inside the restaurant was stunning, and the tables and settings helped the gothic vibe. Soft light shone through caged windows, but just enough for the restaurant to still feel like a dimly lit hideaway. The food menu has vegetarian options which are clearly marked, I ordered the veggie burger. It was stacked with two patties and marked with a V, an order of potato chips were served on the side. It was a generous plate and that had me at first bite, the food was delicious. Unfortunately they were out of their infamous blood bags, which both the hostess and server were kind enough to let us know. The upside to that is they have an excellent blood themed cocktail menu. I ordered the B+ whiskey cocktail, also called blood and sand, which probably gets its name from the demura sugar crystals that were sitting in the bottom of the martini glass. Everything spendy, because duh, French Quarter. The sweet Latina lady working the bar was very kinda and attempted to assist us with the tea leaves reading, uncomfortably, but points for effort! The bad: The service was a frigging joke, y'all. The older lady running front of house has absolutely no business being in a customer facing position. She was short with us and every single person who came in after us, as well as waitstaff. (Late forties, dark hair, white.) She made it clear that she was saving all the open tables for folks who were there to order food, (without saying it out loud, of course) and seated my party and the two who came in after us at the tiny bar. She also loudly yelled at anyone who came in the front door to shut it behind them IMMEDIATELY, like she was the one paying the electric bill, us included. We came for a cup of vampire tea and to have our tea leaves read (the wifey really wanted to) but were told since it was busy that we could do the "self-guided" version, which costs $30 (with commemorative teacup and saucer! Yay!) or truck on down to the Vampire Boutique a few blocks over. Which we had already attempted to visit, by multiple times over the course of an hour and a half, only to find it closed on a day the door, and the business hours on the internet said it should be open. You like vamp-related things to do? Don't waste your money here. Go over to the garden district and take the Anne Rice tour there, or do one of the spooky tours in the Quarter. But this place? The courtyard's intimate layout even brought a bit of extra magic to our evening. We sat near another wonderful couple (and their adorable daughter) and became fast friends, sharing laughs and conversation throughout the night. What truly anchored the experience, though, was the incredible service. The staff was remarkably personable, helpful, and welcoming. The dinner itself was excellent from start to finish, showcasing immense culinary skill across every dish. We started with the delicious brussels sprouts and a uniquely seasoned spring/summer gumbo that was unlike any version we've had before (oh, what I would give for the recipe). The salmon was crispy on the outside with a nice sauce over it. We thought we'd have time to get dessert so we ordered a couple but that too took a very long time. We finally waved down our server to cancel and get the check since we had to be somewhere and he apologized and said their WiFi was going in and out so it could be that it was registering on the kitchen side. That may have explained why our entrees took too long. If it wasn't for the service and the food being great - I would not be thrilled about timing.
