My absolute favorite coffee roaster in San Diego. I've had just about everything they have on cold tap, and every flavor of coffee. With the exception of one roast (Indonesian) I'm a super a fan period!! They've recently raised the price a touch for a bag of coffee beans, but they've offset the price with a free cup of coffee. My superstars are Kenyan, Cowboy, Coronado and Mexican Chocolate (on tap). This place is a must visit if you are in the Barrio Logan. Oh, I forgot to mention they do hot cafe food as well! read more

Yummy yummy! First, very impressed with the interior. I could look around for hours at all the fun decor on their walls! Second, the staff here are sooooo nice. They welcomed me as I walked in, provided recommendations, and allowed me to try a sample cold brew! Third, my drink and breakfast was delicious! I got a White Chocolate Mocha and the Farmer Sandwich. The coffee was soooo tasty-- hot and flavorful! The sandwich was OMG delicious with fluffy croissant bread, delicious/spilling-down-the-side cheese, fresh avocado, egg, and ham! They have so many options here- I'll need to come back again and again. One thing I can't wait to try next is the "build your own toast option"- add egg, jam, avocado, bananas-- however you like it, how fun!! The location is great-- right next to the Barrio Logan sign. Great find off the beaten path! This place is known for their cold brews and they have quite the selection. I was impressed with their interior decor it was open and inviting. The staff was friendly and helpful from the get go. We decided to go with the Mexicano cold brew. Which was really good and one of their popular ones. If your looking for a good pick me up go with the tea one it has the most caffeine. If you want to simmer down the tea one u can do half tea and half Mexicano it's really good. They have locations all over San Diego which is great! I really enjoyed the coffee and atmosphere can't wait to come aback for more! read more

First off, the inside of the coffee store had a great ambiance. They have some TV screens showing sports and alot of seating options( though none of that is available due to covid) they have a great selection of drinks and some pastries. I really like you can have freedom to customize the drinks you order. The staff there was really accommodating and makes sure you're okay with the ingredients they are putting into the drinks and are open to substitute ( such as tea instead of milk). This is a great local cafe that has very, very sweet/creamy coffee. It really was some of the least-bitter coffee I've ever had. Ryan's offers a good selection of breakfast, lunch, pastries and drinks. I would advise to try the Mexican mocha.. Duh.. Or my classic, iced latte. For lunch, the TAB sandwich, turkey, avocado, bacon is the go-to. Cmon, its bacon. With every lunch special you get a side:French fries or chips & salsa. Soup is offered as a side only during Winter. During the week on lunch hours it can sometimes take about 20 minutes for orders so calling an order in might be a good option. This is one of those neighborhood spots a friend takes you to first because it's unassuming and you may not otherwise think to go in. I found the staff to be welcoming, the breakfast sandwiches we had to be delicious and the unique choices for a morning coffee were a real plus. I ordered the bulletproof coffee, which did its job of course. Everything came out quickly and was piping hot. Supporting local businesses is more important now than in the past. "Thier coffee is better than Starbucks", "their potato chips are not of this world", "the food is to die for". So naturally I had to stop by and see what the fuss was all about. The service was great, the food was delicious including the potato chips, but the price is a little on the high side. $8.00 for the sandwich (San Diego T.A.B) this also includes your side of chips, soup or salad, $4.65 for the coffee (16oz Mexicano) YES 16oz for almost $5.00! And I had to take my client some chips ($2.00) since she recommended this place. My total was $15.40 + 15% tip I graciously gave Mileena the cashier. I would've gave them 5 stars, but the price held me back. I will however return on a different occasion. read more

I've been here a couple of times, coffee drink tastes average here only problem is parking. I usually am able to park on the street close by, but sometimes hard. So I always take it to go. This time I also tried food item. I ordered the farmer sandwich with everything bagel, morning glory muffin and soy latte to drink. The muffin and bagel were both yummy. I tried the soy milk fist time here I think it is a little sweet for me next time I would order it with other milk. I couldn't finish my coffee. The barista and cashier were both very nice though. First of all I wanna say that their vanilla cold brew is 10/10 amazing, next level, cold brew done to perfection. It's not bitter at all, just like the quote outside the shop says *Life's too short to be bitter* I love that. It's smooth and delicious. I tried the avocado toast with veggies (but no tomato's) and it was good, very filling. It had a little lemon zest on top which made the toast very unique compared to a lot of avocado toast I've tried. It was a big blast of flavor. If your not into lemon it might be too much for you. I can't say it was the best avo toast I've tried but it was still pretty good. My friend tried the lemon bar dessert and loved it. read more

I've always had the best service here and have always left with a good vibes. And it's been ages since I've last came and was pleasantly surprised to find all the different kinds of cold brew on draft and nitro. I wanted something warm and decided to go with a pour over. When I asked what choices were available, the young lady working the front gave me an attitude and said "all coffees." Uhh, okay...but there wasn't a list of which beans were available. I typically love dark roasted coffee beans and asked what they had. She pointed to their daily batch brew one. So I asked her to make me a pour over with those same beans. She then continued on with an attitude and said "it's the same things." Yes, it's the same coffee but it's a batch brew and likely sat in the thermal dispenser all day. I insisted and she went on saying "it's literally the same thing." What a way to be so blunt and show your true colors. She then hesitantly says she'll make it but "charge me more for the same thing." Well, I'm willing to pay more plus give a good tip for a good hand-poured coffee (though I didn't tip this "entitled girl"). I went ahead and ordered anyway as I was in need of coffee and didn't want to just get up and leave to another place. She then has the audacity to talk bad about me just a few feet away to her coworker. She probably thinks people cannot hear her speaking ill of them. There's a time and place and you can talk trash all you want but at least do it after the customer leaves or when you have downtime. There are customers still sitting around as well as the person who just ordered standing just right by the counter. Young lady, if you're going to be working in a cafe and expect to keep your job, either get your act together or continue getting job dissatisfaction at any place you plan on working at. Owner and/or manager, make note this occurred at around 5:40-5:50 pm on Monday, July 3rd. Really, just terrible. I asked the gentleman behind the counter if they had a hot dark roast, he said yes, gesturing towards the one hot coffee that they had on tap. As it turns out, it was an extremely light roast.. highly disappointing and very little flavor. It tasted more like water than coffee.. which for a black coffee drinker, is really quite gross. My husband asked for the most caffeinated cold brew that they had & the Main Street Burrito. After a few sips of his drink, he said it was absolutely disgusting and wasn't even certain that it was coffee. It was translucent and green in color, so I'm thinking perhaps they gave him a tea?! Even though the gentlemen behind the counter were very nice, the woman who dropped off my husband's burrito was beyond rude. She simply put the tray on our table and walked away... without a hello or even acknowledging that my husband said thank you to her. As it turns out, the burrito my husband received wasn't even the correct one. We checked the receipt, and the receipt indicated that he did order the Main Street Burrito, however that's not what he received.
